Chicken parm

The most delicious huge sandwiches! The hype is real on this one. Plus I love that they have various homemade lemonades and teas not just cans of boring gross sodas . Also homemade chips come with the sandwiches that were delicious and fresh

So glad we tried Tambellini after seeing so many others go! Their dining room is so cute and we were seated right away at 5:50pm on a Friday. We ordered and waited about 15 minutes for our mozzarella and then another 10 for our sandwiches. Service is very basic, and you pay at the counter. Water is self serve. Drinks overpriced (we got lemonade and it was very mid) but the food was worth the money in my opinion. Maybe the best mozzarella cheese I've ever had in my life! Sandwiches were great, huge portions and we took half home.

Amazing local spot with great staff and super quick service! They get busy so be prepared to wait or call ahead an order which was way faster. The chicken cutlets here are the best, crispy and thin, perfect for any sandwich. The Cesar salad was great and the portion sizes make the price well worth it. Don't sleep on their homemade potato chips too, great flavor and crispness, wish I got more!

Great little place for a great big lunch. The chicken caesar is the way to go. & their lemonade is fantastic!

Makes perfect sense to get the sauce on the side for take out. I'm sure it would be delicious!

Walking by and seeing the new digs. Cute, busy the vibe was date night. I'm all about good food and we seem to have found a spot. More photos next time !

Stopped in for take out. Really friendly staff. There is a dining room. There were about 3 specials listed on some butcher paper on the wall. The Italian Stallion comes on a fresh hoagie roll and has some balsamic on top. Really tasty lunch. Looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

Brookline/Dormont is becoming such a great food scene with a few blocks and now this spot is part of it. When you go in and place an order at the register, or if you need to wait to be seated, you will often have a chance to chat with the owners and everybody here is just so nice. It's a small place but they are doing everything from scratch the right way and it's all really delicious. There are some appetizers and other items on the menu but this is largely a sandwich spot. The sandwiches are very substantial and delicious. They come with a side of either regular or salt and vinegar potato chips, all made in house. I have had an eggplant sandwich and a Caprese here and they were excellent. They also have a nice selection of Italian sodas and gelato, which you can put together to make a delicious float. I'm sure I will be stopping by here often. It's usually pretty busy so the locals know!

Its spooky season & the devil is in the details at Tambellini's. So much care, thought, skill & love went into my meal this afternoon. Everything about it was spot on. It's just a sandwich shop, you might be thinking. Wrong. It's the kind of place that makes you pause while you take a bite, tilt your head sideways, and give an emphatic "mmmmm" while you process all the bold & complimentary flavors happening all at once. It's not just a sandwich shop. It's a carefully crafted experience that you need to try for yourself. Mmmmm mmmmm mmmm. I'm already dreaming of my return.

This is a great addition to the boulevard food options! We went in for a takeout order and were warmly greeted at the door. We asked some questions about the menu and they kindly answered all of them. We ordered our food and it was done in about 5 minutes. The flavor was so good. There is a little dining in em area that looked really cute as well.

Can't say enough good things about this place!!! Old school Italian restaurant vibes but the most creative artisan Italian sandwiches! You can tell there is a lot of love that goes into the business. They offer take out or dine in, you can order ahead! 30 ish seating in the dining room and great service from the super friendly waitstaff! Everything was delicious from the homemade fried mozzarella to the Banker sandwich and even the lemon cookies and Housemade biscotti - don't forget to try their fresh squeezed lemonade- made with butterfly pea! So good!

Very laid back atmosphere with a very friendly staff , the meatball was awesome, focaccia flight with oil and ricotta, bread was great, Italian stallions meat was so fresh and not pictured was the fried mozzarella, the best I've ever had

Such a cute place! Great, quick, friendly service. Food was simply AMAZING. Can't wait to go back and try more.

The meatballs were delicious, served on crusty Italian bread with a mix of cheeses, including blue cheese, which gave the sandwich a unique flavor that really worked. Absolutely delicious! DiAnoia's is already a must-go for dinner, but I'd definitely add lunch to the regular rotation when I'm in the Strip District. It is a very cozy Italian restaurant that's serving homemade Italian food like your Nonna would make for you. We showed up on a Tuesday night and it was packed. It was around six or 6:30 in the evening and when we first got there, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait before a two top was available. But the host came back and asked if we didn't mind sitting by the kitchen they could see us right away. We chose to sit by the kitchen, which honestly was probably the best option because it was actually a little bit quieter because there was a very large party that was celebrating a birthday and they had live music going on so it was hard to hear when you were in the main dining space but back by the kitchen it's a little bit quieter and we could actually hear ourselves talk. My husband got the penne with meatballs and the penny was nicely cooked with a beautiful tomato Bass sauce and the meatballs or some of the best Italian meatball he's ever had. His only complaint was that there were only two in the order and he wished there would've been three. I got the spinach and ricotta, stuffed ravioli, and by far one of the best raviolis I've ever had. The ravioli are large so there's only about five in a dish but they're packed fully and the flavoring and seasoning is absolutely spectacular. It's got a beautiful sauce like accompanies it and the chew you can definitely tell it is handmade pasta/ravioli. Our server, Emma was absolutely spectacular and was so kind. We truly enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend anybody to check it out if you're in the area. But we also do recommend make your reservations ahead of time. This place gets packed quickly.

The waitresses are friendly and have great recommendations. I got to try their linguine rustica (essentially the clam pasta dish), a cappuccino, some cherry soda, and soup of the day, as well as complimentary bread. They got that bread out very quickly! Very soft, and served with quite high quality olive oil. The bottle has both olive oil and balsamic! The soup of the day was quite good as well. It was some sort of beef broth, I think may a beef and bean soup. Chickpeas in there as well. Next time, I might try the salad. The salad they have as a side is so good, an amazing portion and seems so fresh and tasty. The mains were excellent. Very good pasta with clam sauce. Lots of clam meat and a flavorful oil based sauce. My friend had some red penne with chicken and enjoyed that as well. Great portions, pretty fair prices. Finally, great drinks as well. Very memorable cherry cola that I believe the company is owned by the owner's son. Real cane sugar, very good. The cappuccino was great as well. Definitely come here!

For appetizers we ordered the peach bruschetta (special), the pistachio and pesto pizza without the pork, and the insalata salad. My favorite was the brussel sprouts and carrotts app. We also ordered the lasagna which was different. It had cinnamon and nutmeg. I was expecting classic lasagna. The seafood spaghetti also was not what I expected. The spice was nice, but I didn't like the texture of the pasta and the seafood was very fishy. The pesto pasta was good but needed salt. For dessert the boomba was the best! Tiramisu was mid. Again, cinnamon and a fresh flavor that didn't provide the traditional flavors I anticipated.
