Ordered sausage and peppers with angel hair and a small wedding soup to go. Surprised that it came out only a few minutes later. Wedding soup was the best part. I got 2 sausages that needed cooked longer inside and a pound of angel hair (maybe more). Everything was room temperature. Would prefer slower food that was cooked better and maybe a better ratio instead of just giving me enough pasta for 9 people. read more

This is a take-out location (barring a few bar stool type seats along the window) with excellent Italian food, and since they are take out only, they know exactly how to pack your food for the trip home! They have other locations as a full restaurant with seating, but this location was designed and built for take out, so they do that well. Everything I've had here is amazing. From the Bistro Sandwiches (HUGE with great bread) to Penne ala Vodka (some of the best vodka sauce out there). I just recently tried the side of 2 meatballs w cheese. Those darn things could be meal by them selves. 2 fist sized meatballs loaded with spices covered with hot Mozz bathed in a perfect red sauce. For around $5!!! You cannot beat that! Armstrong's is what restaurants should aspire to be like. Good food. Large menu. Tricky parking. I'm an Armstrong's stan. I grew up going to the Moon location through its various iterations and have probably had just about everything on the menu. Armstrong's Express has the same great food - just to go! The menu is large and the portions are HUGE. You will likely have food leftover. Some of my favorites: buffalo chicken salad, the famous Armstrong's meatballs, the calzones and just about any of their pasta dishes. But honestly I don't think I've ever had something at Armstrong's that I didn't like. My only qualm is the parking. The lot is kind of crazy. Its like people enter this area and lose all sense of direction and geometry. Give yourself an extra few minutes when you pick up your order. read more

How have I not reviewed this place? We stopped in here about a year ago while house hunting in the area. Service was great as was the food. My wife got a cheeseburger and I got the chicken parmesan sandwich with fries. Fast forward to this weekend, we wanted Italian food and hadn't had a chance to really explore the area pre covid. That led us to remember Armstrongs. My wife got the penne with tomato sauce & meatballs and a caesar salad. I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo with wedding soup. My family and I have been going to Armstrong's since I was a baby, so it's awesome that they have a takeout restaurant close to home. I was really craving spaghetti and meatballs, and my mom decided to bring some to me; it did not disappoint! On the side we also got bread and butter with a tossed salad, both of which were great. If I'm ever craving Italian food, this is an easy fix, especially during coronavirus. They specialize in takeout, so it's the perfect place to go to get some Italian food right now. Vodka pasta is always amazing and a go to. Great portion size too, although a little pricey. Would recommend!

We picked up a bucket of 48 wings for a birthday party. The wings were half Cajun dry spicy and half Buffalo. We called in around noon for a 4:00pm pickup. We went for lunch. They have a big selection to choose from and the lady was nice enough to check if the sandwich buns had milk in them (they don't). 2 sandwiches was around $20. The portions were pretty large and come with fries. The entree was large enough for me to save half for another meal. The Cajun chicken sandwich was very flavorful with a sprinkle of spice and the chicken was tender and juicy. It's hard to find a good chicken sandwich so it'd come back. They package everything up perfectly. My favorite dish here is the penne vodka with shrimp. It is the BEST vodka sauce I've had to date and believe me I've tried tons of places! This is a solid place for Italian American take out, their indoor seating seems to be pretty limited. The portion size is astronomical and one meal will definitely give you leftovers for another! Their salads are pretty good with fresh vegetables and decent chicken, their sandwiches seemed to be a hit in my house as well. What I really liked was the penne vodka, the vodka sauce is delicious and creamy and pretty flavorful and I will definitely be stopping by here again for that specifically.
