Food is best around! Artichoke appetizer is the best! Ordering for pick up is very easy and timely.

Best steak salad! I eat 1/2 there while the juices are warm and the cheese is all melty. Take the rest to the office for dinner. Every time. read more

We shared the penne vodka pasta with salad and bread. Phenomenal. Literally can feed two people for two full meals. So worth the money. I can't wait to try more menu items! read more

The food is good and the serving sizes are large. Entrees come with bread and butter. It is quite expensive. read more

A lot of times getting together with immediate family no one wants the hassle of preparing a big meal, so we order from Armstrong's Express. They have an extensive menu, which everything we've ordered has never had a complaint. The staff is always friendly and courteous. read more

We have ordered food several times. Each time the food is excellent, prices are very reasonable and portions are large

My husband and I split the penne vodka it was delicious and a great portion! We also tried the chocolate mousse dessert and it was delicious. Friendly staff quick and efficient service can't wait to order again! read more

The Express has the same tasty recipes as the restaurants, but is for takeout. The parking is a pay lot. The food is good. My favorite dish is the steak salad with fries and garlic toast. read more

Always great food and huge portions. I forgot my credit card and they were most gracious. read more

Quality/taste is comparable to others in the same class. Not my favorite but good. Service is always good, but hours are limited. Not really an eat-in option, so ambiance is irrelevant. Good portion size but you pay for it for sure. read more

Great food, nice sized portions, and affordable prices! Each dinner comes with bread and soup or salad. I got the wedding soup with my manicotti. I really liked the manicotti. The portion was big enough to have for two days. The wedding soup was delicious! My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs with the side salad. He enjoyed his meal and the side salad was full of fresh Ingredients and lots of veggies. Great place! We will be back! read more

Adore this place. I order ahead all of the time & they are also so quick! The staff is also always so friendly. The portions are HUGE!!!

Ordered sausage and peppers with angel hair and a small wedding soup to go. Surprised that it came out only a few minutes later. Wedding soup was the best part. I got 2 sausages that needed cooked longer inside and a pound of angel hair (maybe more). Everything was room temperature. Would prefer slower food that was cooked better and maybe a better ratio instead of just giving me enough pasta for 9 people. read more

Food here is always outstanding with huge portions and great service. Our go to carry out place!!!!

This is a take-out location (barring a few bar stool type seats along the window) with excellent Italian food, and since they are take out only, they know exactly how to pack your food for the trip home! They have other locations as a full restaurant with seating, but this location was designed and built for take out, so they do that well. Everything is consistently the same on each visit and it's all great tasting and very good! read more

Best Italian food anywhere! Eat in or take out Everything on menu is great! My favor place to eat read more

Everything I've had here is amazing. From the Bistro Sandwiches (HUGE with great bread) to Penne ala Vodka (some of the best vodka sauce out there). I just recently tried the side of 2 meatballs w cheese. Those darn things could be meal by them selves. 2 fist sized meatballs loaded with spices covered with hot Mozz bathed in a perfect red sauce. For around $5!!! You cannot beat that! Armstrong's is what restaurants should aspire to be like. Take care of your customers, and we'll take care of you 12/12 They deserve an award on a shelve. read more

Good food. Large menu. Tricky parking. I'm an Armstrong's stan. I grew up going to the Moon location through its various iterations and have probably had just about everything on the menu. Armstrong's Express has the same great food - just to go! The menu is large and the portions are HUGE. You will likely have food leftover. Some of my favorites: buffalo chicken salad, the famous Armstrong's meatballs, the calzones and just about any of their pasta dishes. But honestly I don't think I've ever had something at Armstrong's that I didn't like. My only qualm is the parking. The lot is kind of crazy. Its like people enter this area and lose all sense of direction and geometry. Give yourself an extra few minutes when you pick up your order. read more

How have I not reviewed this place? We stopped in here about a year ago while house hunting in the area. Service was great as was the food. My wife got a cheeseburger and I got the chicken parmesan sandwich with fries. Fast forward to this weekend, we wanted Italian food and hadn't had a chance to really explore the area pre covid. That led us to remember Armstrongs. My wife got the penne with tomato sauce & meatballs and a caesar salad. I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo with wedding soup. The servings were huge and full of flavor. This spot is definitely going to be a go to for us. read more

My family and I have been going to Armstrong's since I was a baby, so it's awesome that they have a takeout restaurant close to home. I was really craving spaghetti and meatballs, and my mom decided to bring some to me; it did not disappoint! On the side we also got bread and butter with a tossed salad, both of which were great. If I'm ever craving Italian food, this is an easy fix, especially during coronavirus. They specialize in takeout, so it's the perfect place to go to get some Italian food right now. I'll be back soon! read more

Armstrong's one of my favorite restaurants. And this take-out location is no exception! I can stop by on my way home from work to grab dinner for just me or my whole family. Portions are huge and staff is very friendly. And of course, the food is amazing! I've enjoyed all of the locations over the last 20 years and I've never been disappointed. read more

We picked up a bucket of 48 wings for a birthday party. The wings were half Cajun dry spicy and half Buffalo. We called in around noon for a 4:00pm pickup. The parking lot was almost full, but luckily they have parking spaces for to-go orders. The order was hot and ready on time. Everyone throughly enjoyed them at the party. read more

Vodka pasta is always amazing and a go to. Great portion size too, although a little pricey. Would recommend!

Armstrong's Express is a great place to eat. Whether you are eating inside, outside or to go. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. The portions are large. You surely get your money's worth. You could be satisfied by eating half today and the other half tomorrow. I highly recommend trying Armstrong's Express. read more

So delicious but prices are very inaccurate online. The food is much more expensive In person

Great Food! Ready fast and friendly staff! So many choices and love their chicken salad! Thanks read more

If you're looking for carry out for any event Armstrongs is the place! Portions are generous and the food is amazing. The penne alla vodka is a must and eggplant and chicken parm both are some of the best I've ever had. Decent amount of breading but not too much. The staff there are so kind and genuinely treat you like a friend when you go in to get your order. read more

We went for lunch. They have a big selection to choose from and the lady was nice enough to check if the sandwich buns had milk in them (they don't). 2 sandwiches was around $20. The portions were pretty large and come with fries. The entree was large enough for me to save half for another meal. The Cajun chicken sandwich was very flavorful with a sprinkle of spice and the chicken was tender and juicy. It's hard to find a good chicken sandwich so it'd come back. Fries were a bit bland but I dipped it in their honey mustard which was very good. read more

The food was good. $65.00 for a cheeseburger and 2 chicken salads was a lot, but things are expensive and I understand that. However, counter workers pandering for tips for just packing food in a bag is crap. I'm a person who works really hard for my money, and a person who worked in food service and understands tipping very well. - Upset. read more

very good and great service. The eggplant parmigiana and vodka sauce with angel hair pasta is my favorites.

Quality food, nice portions and excellent customer service. Your belly will be happy no matter what you order here. I totally recommend ordering from this establishment and highly recommend the calzones or chicken parm but once again everything is fantastic here. read more

This restaurant is not far from my house but we had never tried it until the other day. I am so glad we went. Great food really nice sized portions. My wife had the chicken salad, she loved it. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Awesome!! The Wedding soup is killer. Will go again. read more

You might skip past this place since it's take out only, but don't! Armstrong's has the best salads, pastas, and desserts! The portions are ginormous and just wow! They package everything up perfectly. My favorite dish here is the penne vodka with shrimp. It is the BEST vodka sauce I've had to date and believe me I've tried tons of places! Their baked artichoke appetizer is also very good. Their Pittsburgh salads are nothing short of amazing and enough for two people. And their desserts...always different, fresh and some of the best I've ever had! It's always a treat to get Armstrong's....and you'll be good for at least a day with leftovers! read more

Wow! The food here is really amazing! The prices are NOT CHEAP, but the quality and the portion sizes are amazing! I got the baked scrod and it came with a big, beautiful salad and a bowl of their really great wedding soup, and lots of Italian bread - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Picked up takeout last week and had a good experience. The quality of the sandwich ingredients was very fresh and it was hot. Prices are very reasonable; I can see why they have a following. Will try a pasta entree on future visit. read more

This is a solid place for Italian American take out, their indoor seating seems to be pretty limited. The portion size is astronomical and one meal will definitely give you leftovers for another! Their salads are pretty good with fresh vegetables and decent chicken, their sandwiches seemed to be a hit in my house as well. What I really liked was the penne vodka, the vodka sauce is delicious and creamy and pretty flavorful and I will definitely be stopping by here again for that specifically. For the portion size and price, this place cannot be beat for value. read more
