It is so nice to see a homestyle restaurant w homemade food! Not much curb appeal on the bldg, but the staff and food make up for it! The staff is Very friendly and accommodating, even though they were hustling and busy. We had the wedding soup, w/prob 10 meatballs in each cup. The homemade spaghetti was fantastic, the baked ziti wasn't really baked, but was still good. Seemed like they have a lot of take out orders, which is good bc there is little seating. We will definately be back for more!

Dine in or take out, best food in Bridgeville. Small family owned restaurant that has been around since 1933. Usually we get take out but tonight we ate there. Everyone is friendly. We sat and talked about the past locations. I usually get a grilled chicken salad. Great wedding soup. Pasta with meat sauce and chicken parm are all favorites

First time having dinner here. Staff was friendly. Portions were huge. Everything was great! Will be back for sure!

My meatless meat ravioli. Total mess.

IMPORTANT: STAY AWAY - READ BELOW…read more I have visited many places in my travels around the country and world, and I've written many reviews for different outlets, mostly on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately for this place, this will be the worst review I've ever written. I had tried eating here a few years ago with my wife just for a dinner, we were not impressed with the food. It was average at best. My wife saw an advertisement on Facebook last week for a BBQ they apparently have annually. My wife wasn't feeling good that day, so I went down to make us both a plate since we only live 5 minutes away. When I showed up there was absolutely no one there. Maybe there should have been a clue, I asked what was going on and the people there said "I think we advertised it a little too late". I made us both a plate with pulled pork, some rigatoni pasta, potato salad, macaroni salad, some Oriental noodles, and grabbed a couple of cookies for dessert. I had our dinner as soon as I got home with my wife, The pork was bland, the pasta was very unremarkable, potato salad average at best, oriental noodles slightly spicy, but nothing would have been anything I would go back for or like. The next day I started feeling quite ill. I brushed it off a little bit and figured maybe I had caught something. As the day went on my digestive problems worsened, that evening I had a fever, the next day I ended up in the St Clair hospital emergency room. They ran a number of tests, and today one of them came back that I was positive for E Coli. I'm assuming I'll now get a call from the Allegheny County health department. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Maybe there is a reason that nobody was there...

I've tried a decent amount of their menu items and everything has always been delicious and filling. Highly recommend the beet and goat cheese salad as well as the chicken salad sandwich! Two of my all time favorites. The service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. My biggest complaint? The place is not clean. Every table that was open was dirty. Trash on the floor and under tables. I had to get some napkins wet at the water dispenser and wipe the table down myself, and it was not that busy. Went to use the restroom to wash my hands after cleaning the table and there was no toilet paper OR paper towels in the women's restroom. Had to use the men's to wash my hands. Really disappointed in this experience honestly. When a restaurant is dirty in the seating area, it makes me wonder about the state of the kitchen.

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! My daughter and I went here for the first time recently. It was intended to be a mini celebration…read morebecause it was her last day of school. We arrived around 4:30pm, we had to park on the street, but there were several spots available. The restaurant is small with a casual interior. We were greeted and seated immediately. The food was good with hearty portions, but our waitress rushed us the entire time. We said we needed a few minutes, because this was our first time here, so she stood there and just... waited. She didn't offer to make any suggestions or ask whether we had any questions, she was just standing inches from the table looking at us. Finally I had to say, "oh, you don't have to wait right here, it'll be at least 5 minutes." Then she left. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks, and two desserts. She never asked whether we wanted dessert, and reached to present the bill while asking if we needed any takeout boxes. I had to interject and ask if we could see a menu for dessert options. The check was placed on our table before dessert arrived, which has never happened to us before at any restaurant we've ever been to. Then, when the desserts were brought to the table, she grabbed the bill presenter and said, "are we good?" I replied, "no, I'll pay when we're done eating." It was odd because we went very early and there were only a few other tables occupied so, I had no idea why we were being rushed the entire time. They also brought my daughter's entree with the wrong side, but they fixed it right away with no fuss. I left a generous tip and didn't report our experience. She was never outright rude to us, but rushing guests at every interaction is uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this place is good, but if I ever go back, I would insist on a different waitress.
