It makes me so happy to see the Oasis legacy is still going strong. Though the original location in Heidelberg has been closed for several years now, the next generation is keeping things afloat. They've had a few locations since then but the one things that haven't changed are the food and service. The love that goes into the cooking is tasted in every bite. The homemade gnocchi are by far the closest to my Nana's ever. The wedding soup is out of this world! They make great salads and sandwiches too. Always happy to see them when I'm home for a visit. read more

It is so nice to see a homestyle restaurant w homemade food! Not much curb appeal on the bldg, but the staff and food make up for it! The staff is Very friendly and accommodating, even though they were hustling and busy. We had the wedding soup, w/prob 10 meatballs in each cup. The homemade spaghetti was fantastic, the baked ziti wasn't really baked, but was still good. Seemed like they have a lot of take out orders, which is good bc there is little seating. We had been waiting and wanting to try this place and glad we finally got to give it a try. The place is small but it doesn't lack zest and personality. There are only around 6 tables or so and they also do a ton of takeout. The kitchen is open and they have homemade pasta, sauce and meatballs. The portions are huge so you will not leave hungry and will for sure have some leftovers. The sauce is what I remember from when I was a kid growing up going to the old spot. I still need to try a few more things here. The owners are amazing and so friendly, it's like everyone is family. read more

The food is exceptional!!! The gnocchi dinner is my favorite. The homemade meatballs sauce and gnocchi are mouth watering. It comes with fresh Italian bread and salad with homemade dressing. Interesting little place that was a taco place and pizza place. Only a few tables and not the best for eating in in my opinion. We ordered take out. This is a long line of family that has been in and out of the restaurant business and still use the family recipes and homemade gnocchi and spaghetti. I remember going to on in Heidleburg as a kid for the spaghetti and fish sandwiches. Then there was the Little Oasis in Bridgeville, then at the Oasis in Carnegie and then one in Cecil. Have been to all of them. Now run by grandkids, I think. We had the gnocchi with meatballs and the chicken pastina soup. The meatballs were your standard hard meatballs and the gnocchi was a little harder than I remember. Liked the sauce and the chicken pastina. We ordered via phone for pick up and the order came out at the time we were told. The staff was very friendly. read more

I remember this establishment from back in the day and they were removed by stupid Walgreens. Then poof they reappear in South Fayette and I'm sure they're working out the bugs. The issue isn't so much the food but the human aspect. When someone pre-orders, have it ready. Don't make the customer wait 30 minutes as your prepare it. Then prepare sloppy pieces of the ravioli and feel that's adequate. Hopefully they improve and I can up my review because I want them to be successful. read more

I was in the mood for spaghetti and alfredo. Didn't even know this restaurant existed until today.And it will be added to my new favorite. We have eaten in the Oasis (now) thru 5 generations. It does not get any better. Service is great, but they just opened on Washington Pike in Bridgeville (South Fayette Area) and it is rather small and can only seat 12 with 4 tables. We go early to eat in-but just got take-out the other day. My husband of 58 years used to pick me up from work every Friday and we would go to their restaurant in Heidelberg PA.. We have been to every restaurant they have opened since then. STILL our favorite Italian food!! We will remain customers as long as they stay open. read more

The large two piece fish sandwich and breaded cauliflower was prepared perfectly! The homemade meat sauce was tasty, yet the gnocchi was somewhat gritty, but good. Overall, the staff was very polite, the service for take out was hectic, and it's only a 4 table small restaurant with little ambiance. I had ordered take out ... hopefully this restaurant can grow a little more in months to come because the food is good. read more

Food was the absolute best! The ham and cabbage soup was so flavorful. The gnocchi and the sauce was exactly what I was craving!! Meatballs are delicious. AND the tossed salad with their homemade house dressing is SO GOOD!! Everyone there was really nice, helpful, and very welcoming. Definitely would recommend!! read more

I knew they would be busy and or run out of food so I put my food order in around noon and asked for it to be ready at 5. I arrived at 450pm and said my name and she tells the cook to start making my food essentially. We ordered the fried zucchini, 2 orders of meat ravioli, and a rigatoni dinner. There were at least 5 to 7 people standing around waiting for food. I spoke to the lady standing next to me and she said she ordered an hour before pick up. Mind you, she walked in after I had been waiting for 15 mins for my food. She got her food before I did. Finally at 530pm my food was ready. Take it home and rigatoni was fine, one order of the ravioli was fine, then there was my ravioli. My meat ravioli was in pieces and no meat in them. There was a few bits of meat in the sauce. I get that they just opened but why would you put those in the container like that? The cook had to see it and just threw sauce on top and the Meatball that comes with it. I truly don't think I will order again from here. With tip, it was 72 dollars and I ate a few pieces of the ravioli pasta parts and bread. I threw the rest out in the garbage. read more

Very disappointed, waited forever to be able to place a take out. Had gnocchi, it was literally swimming in sauce and the gnocchi was hard. Also got stuffed peppers, the inside of the peppers was hard as a rock, not the same as the old oasis read more

We just ordered takeout for the first time from the Oasis. It was amazing . Everything was served piping hot and was so good. The gnocchis with meatball was delicious. The fried jumbo shrimp was exactly how we remember it at the original Oasis decades ago. Perfection , we will be back! read more

We just love it here! The food is great and the family/staff are so nice. We usually get the chicken parm, rigatoni and the chicken Alfredo. Appetizers are wonderful too. We have eaten in, but as it is a little small, we choose take out most of the time. The portions are more than enough, which makes for leftovers. If you are looking for home cooked Italian cuisine, the Oasis is where you should go. read more

I've been to the original Oasis as a child and it tastes exactly the same! It's cozy in the new location but the family and staff are always so inviting and overly tolerant of my little one. The food has always been amazing- I always recommend the homemade gnocchi. The price seems high, but I promise they give you more than enough food. read more

Very small. Salad dressing was oily and the other salty. Service was good. Too pricy. Sides extra with sandwiches. Glad they are doing well but won't be back. Sauce was the blandest. Soda was in can so no refils. At least pasta was well drained. read more
