It's been a while since I've had Jimmy John's, but I used to get it once or twice per week a few years ago, so I got to know some of the sandwiches pretty well. Although thus location had friendly staff, I was really disappointed in the contents of the sandwiches- mostly in the quantity of fillings. These sandwiches used to be so loaded that I often couldn't finish a whole one. Now, when you ask for add-ins, such as cucumbers, you're lucky if you get 3 or 4 tiny slices. The "plain slim" is a joke...barely 2 slices of turkey and an extra $1.52 to add cheese... the plain slims are meant to be just bread and meat...but they seem to have forgotten the meat. I spent just over $25 on three sandwiches: a club, a plain slim, and a "little John"....no drinks, no chips, just the sandwiches... $25... I understand that prices are increasing everywhere, but they are not even trying to give the illusion of value. Really sorry to see this happening with the JJ chains because this brand was a favorite of mine for a while. Not worth it for the price. read more

I love Jimmy John's and I've always had a consistently good meal! It's never busy when I come on occasional afternoons. Service is always fast and friendly. My favorite is the veggie on multi-grain bread and my husband always gets the Vito with hot peppers. If you've never tried Jimmy John's subs/sandwiches, I highly recommend it and have no complaints about this location! read more

I love Jimmy Johns. As a vegetarian, getting a veggie hoagie is usually really risky. It's often gross old veggies slapped on some bread and served up. Jimmy Johns veggie hoagie is really flavorful, the veggies are always fresh and the bread is awesome. While the hoagie itself is fantastic, the best part by far are the employees. Their kindness, patience and urgency set them apart from other quick dining establishments. There are several other restaurants with the same concept... yet Jimmy Johns does it with more efficiency than anybody else. If I'm stopping at a quick dining restaurant.... I usually want/need it to be quick. The speed that they not only take orders, but make them is impressive. It feels like my time is valued. There's nothing worse than being in a hurry and having the employees move around leisurely without a care in the world for your time. I love Jimmy Johns and because of how fast they get me in and out, I know I always have time to stop when I pass one. I just hope that they bring a location closer to the South Hills as I don't pass one nearly enough! read more

Getting Jimmy John's delivery is always fast and relatively inexpensive compared to other delivery fees.

This brand new location just opened behind Starbucks, Chipotle, GetGo, and next to Aldi in South Fayette. It's kind of hard to see from the main road. The food is typical for a Jimmy John's chain. My co-workers and I stopped by here to grab a quick lunch. I have never been to a Jimmy John's before but I figured it would be similar to other chain sub shops. When we walked in, we were kindly greeted by the employees. They gave us time to decide and per one of my co-workers recommendation, I went with the sub that included turkey, provolone, and avocado topped with their standards - lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, mayo, and an option of sprouts. I opted out of the tomato and cucumbers and asked for honey mustard instead of mayo. They only had dijon so I went with it. I saw that there was a wheat sandwich bread option versus the white hoagie and when I ordered, the employee informed me that there was a wheat hoagie option as well. Only after telling me and pointing out a small sign located close to the cash register did I know this option existed. My co-workers who all ordered before me wished they would have known so they could have done the same thing. Once we received the orders, we took them back to the office. Several of us ordered the kind of sub and they were numbered based on the kind, so we had three #12's and two #4's. However, we all ordered different variations and they were not labeled so we had to open each sub to determine who's was who's. When I opened my sub, I had trouble locating the avocado. My co-worker pointed out that it is smeared on the bread versus sliced avocado pieces. I could not even tell it was on my sub. Instead of removing mayo and adding dijon mustard, they dressed my sub with BOTH mayo and dijon mustard. Finally, I felt that there were very few contents within my sub in general. The bread outweighed the contents and it was not anything to write home about. Overall, I feel this place can tidy up a few things - marking subs better when there is a large group order; displaying their bread options where it is visible without having to point them out; and making sure orders are correctly made (with more contents) prior to handing them over to the customer. I will go somewhere else for a sub in the future. read more

Haven't been to this location yet, but did order delivery. They are NOT joking when they say it's fast. It was like 12 or 13 minutes order to door. That is absolutely CRAZY. I was able to order and leave a tip (percentage or dollar amount) online, with a super easy hassle free first order/sign-up process... with easy customization of your sandwich toppings. The subs are good. I may prefer a competitor, but they don't deliver. These subs are priced appropriately for the quality and they make a great quick meal, dining in or ordering out. read more

Meh. Sandwiches were very thin. Counter person gave us attitude because there was no tip. Why would I tip when picking up? I'm not impressed. I'll take my business elsewhere next time. read more

Stopped in to grab a quick #4 Turkey w/ cheese and got everything I was expecting . Quick , friendly service . The inside is very spacious and clean , very nice overall . Food was good , standard Jimmy John's . The bathroom was also very clean, which I find important, it shows the the cleanliness of the restaurant. The location is a bit tricky to get to coming off of 79. Other than that ,it was a great experience that will keep me coming back ! read more

Just went here for the first time. The subs were good and they were quick in making our food. The only complaint that I have is that the music was too loud. I couldn't understand what the lady taking my order was saying. I am 33 years old and have some hearing loss from my time time in the military. I'll be back again and hopefully the music will be at a lower level next time. read more
