I don't typically like fried foods, but they do it well here, crispy without being heavy. The waitresses truly feel like family, which is one of the best parts of coming back. The pizza in my opinion is just alright. While the cheese and crust have a good texture, the overall flavor of the pizza itself lacks flavor, and the cheese is a bit too oily and tends to slide off. They also go pretty light on the toppings, to the point where you can barely tell they're there, which is disappointing since the pizza already lacks flavor. Ordering a tossed salad helped because it comes with pepperoncini, which you can squeeze over the pizza to add some much needed flavor. Dipping the pizza in their house made Italian dressing actually works surprisingly well too, and I really love their Italian dressing. That said, charging $13 for a tossed salad made mostly of iceberg lettuce doesn't really match the more reasonable prices for other items on the menu here, even if the dressing is great. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the eggplant parm if that's your thing, but I'm not sure I'm sold on everything else on the menu. The wedding soup could also be more flavorful than it was.

Thankfully, the staff couldn't have been nicer. We never felt rushed, and the service was wonderful from start to finish. This is a BYOB spot, and trust me....you should come hungry. We started with the stuffed peppers. One was spicy, one wasn't. Was it a culinary surprise? A pepper lottery? I'll never know, but both were delicious. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with rigatoni, and my husband got the spinach-stuffed shells with meatballs. When the plates arrived, I briefly wondered if they had mistaken us for a family of four. The portions were huge. We ate until surrender and still had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. On our way out, we couldn't resist grabbing dessert from the cooler: limoncello cake and tiramisu. Because after consuming enough pasta to fuel a small village, dessert seemed like the responsible thing to do. We made it out by 9:00 p.m., and the staff remained friendly right up until closing time. Great food, generous portions, excellent service, and prices that won't make you cry into your cannoli.
