We order From here frequently but today will be out last. The restaurant is not abiding my Covid restrictions, the person making the pizzas did not wear a mask near co worker, food or other people in the restaurant. If I'm required to wear a mask to enter you should be required to wear one while preparing my food. We ordered online for an6pm pick up, and our food was not ready until 6:40. The breadsticks were as hard as a rock, and the chicken was not done all the way through. So disappointing because this is our go to spot. read more

OMG!! This Italian restaurant is amazingly delicious! You could be blindfolded and pick anything off the menu and you could not go wrong!! You could not find any better pizza anywhere,especially the mushroom topping for the pizza.I believe they are sautéd in olive oil and some garlic and various herbs.Absolutely amazing.Do not eat here,unless you do not want to eat pizza anywhere else! Food here is very good. Have been coming here since it opened in the 90's!! Pizza, hoagies, broasted chicken, pink pasta, chicken and steak salads, can't go wrong with any of the food. Whatever you order it will be delicious!! Ambiance and cleanliness are the only issues that we have. The bathrooms are atrocious! They are so gross and dirty. The outside area needs some maintenance also. The metal tables and chairs are rusted and dirty. Sand them off and give them a new coat of paint. We really like coming here, but feel like you should put a little effort into keeping a nice and clean environment considering you are in Peters Township and you have a fairly good crowd that really likes to frequent your restaurant. read more

Maureen always remembers our drink orders but confirms we want the same drinks and puts in our order for fried zucchini almost immediately without me having to even ask for it. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Their specialty pizzas were always amazing. Something has changed. What hasn't changed is the customer service. Everyone is downright rude and short with you with the exception of the young man who is their cashier. No need to be rude. If you don't want to work there, then don't! This used to be a favorite restaurant. Had the best pasta primavera ever. I ordered it tonight. Unlike the description, it had 4 small pieces of broccoli, 4 micro slices of zucchini, a piece of onion and absolutely NO FLAVOR. It was awful. No garlic flavor at all. It was horrible. I frequented this place quite a bit years ago and it was fabulous. I think they have allowed their food to slip a bit and charge for things they shouldn't. For instance the wife ordered a pizza burger which really wasn't a pizza burger but okay she ate it anyway. It didn't have enough sauce so she asked for more... !1.25 for a small saucer. Bread is also an additional charge for a,second basket. The pizza was very greasy but tasted fairly good. The pink pasta was pasta, nothing special. Surprised to see so many tables and a nice casual restaurant, was expecting more of a take out place. The floors are a nice sealed cement and the walls have some nice wood wainscot. The place was crowded at lunch time. We had a large piece of pizza, mine with pepperoni, the other with sausage. The sausage is a sliced sausage, not crumbled as most pizza parlors. However, the sausage was pretty none disrupt, not much flavor just lacking that Italian sausage flavor. The pepperoni was good. The crust is what I call a medium thickness and cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly - just felt the food was pretty standard. The broasted chicken seemed to be a popular item so I gave it a try ... it was okay, nothing great I didn't feel. My boyfriend enjoyed the pizza and calzone and felt the same way, it was okay just nothing too memorable. Decently priced and friendly staff - just not blown away with the food. read more

Do they even make any of their own food??? The spaghetti sauce is clearly from a jar and the mozzarella sticks are the frozen kind from a box. They must buy all their food from the Kmart next door and serve it. I had the veal parm and it wasn't terrible. There are tons of other Italian restaurants in the area. We've gotten this before as take-out at a relatives house and it was fine. But, recently we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and a 5 cheese pizza and both were practically inedible. I could only eat 1 slice of mine and my husband could only eat 2 of his before we called it quits. Will not be ordering from here again. We ordered dinner at this restaurant last week and were extremely disappointed in the taste and quality of the meals. I ordered Veal parm and my wife got Chicken parm. The sauce for each was so bitter and harsh that neither of the meals were edible. The veal medallions were also small and tasteless. My wife did eat the chicken but would not touch the pasta as she commented that it was more like a spaghetti paste than a sauce. We also got side salads and they were the only thing that I would be able to eat. We have eaten at pasta too several times and the taste and portions of Grande does not even come close to pasta too dinners with both at similar price points. Grande Italian Restaurant is definitely one of my favorite places to eat. The environment is great and the employees are friendly. They have delicious salads and breadsticks for appetizers. The dressing they have for the salads is amazing and sadly they do not tell the recipe. When the main dish arrived I was amazed. The pizza they have there is delicious and is unlike any other pizza places I've been to. One downside is that the restaurant is fairly small. There is a decent amount of seating but it is nothing like what you will see at Pizzas or Fiori's. Sometimes there a long waits to be seated but other than that it is a pretty solid restaurant! Overall, Grande is an amazing place to eat and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is willing to try it! read more

I enjoy their pizza by the slice and a dinner salad. Pizza always tastes fresh and not just a reheated slice. Sauce has some flavor and isn't too sweet. Generous toppings. We have been going to Grande since it opened and have rarely had a problem with anything. It's a neighborhood place, so it's not fancy, but the food is good & plentiful, and the people are friendly. There was a period where it went downhill a little, but that turned out to be because the owner was having health problems. His son took over, is upgrading things and the food is back to being yummy! Also, we have rarely had to wait to sit and if we did it was only a few minutes. If you're looking for some good (very) Italian food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go! read more
