While the food and bar service was great, we expressed out disappointment of not being allowed to sit at a table in the *entirely vacant* upper level (BTW, it was wonderfully quiet up there, compared to downstairs). Excuses ranged from "short staffed" (despite three young women at front of house being deep in conversation with themselves) to "no server upstairs" , both clearly BS as someone clearly served us, but they were apparently "runners" not "servers". WTF? Seriously?! Heaven forbid two people sit at a table in an otherwise totally empty upper level. OK, I'm still tired and cranky, but suggest whoever owns this gem on 45th St give their management some Faulty Towers management training: "Manuel, let me explain something to you...." For the mains, we both got chicken flautas which came with a side of rice and beans. The flautas were crispy and crunchy. The rice had big chunks of carrots which I didn't like but my friend enjoyed.
