From the very first interaction, Maggie completely changed that. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was handled correctly. Maggie walked me through the entire process step by step, explained what to expect, and stayed on top of communication the whole time. I never felt left in the dark or brushed off. Any questions I had, she answered clearly and promptly, and she dealt with the insurance side smoothly, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. You can tell she knows her job inside and out and actually takes pride in helping customers. When I got my Tacoma back, I was honestly blown away. The repair work was flawless--my truck looked brand new like nothing ever happened. On top of that, it was returned to me extremely clean, inside and out, which just shows the level of care and attention to detail this shop has. If you're looking for a collision center that does high-quality work and has outstanding customer service, this is the place. And if Maggie is helping you, you're in very good hands. Absolutely horrible experience with G&C Auto Body in Napa…read more They had our vehicle for OVER A MONTH for collision repairs through Farmers Insurance, only for us to pick it up and have the car overheat within less than 10 minutes because they failed to properly inspect the radiator/cooling system before releasing it. Elliott from G&C called and told us the vehicle was "ready." We trusted them, picked it up, and shortly after the vehicle overheated and became completely undriveable. We later found out the car had little to no coolant because a plastic radiator hose component was broken and leaking coolant the entire time -- something G&C somehow missed after having the car for more than a month. We had to contact both Farmers Insurance and G&C immediately and have the vehicle towed BACK to the shop. After keeping the car for several more days, they admitted the hose issue had been missed. When I asked why they did not perform compression testing or inspect the head gaskets after the severe overheating incident, Elliott acted like I was stupid for even asking. Then we noticed the check engine light was now on AFTER the overheating happened. When I pointed it out, Elliott admitted they already knew about it. Despite this, they still tried avoiding responsibility. Manager Chris then came outside and basically told us that either WE take the vehicle ourselves to Nissan for a diagnostic or just take the vehicle back "like that." Imagine being told to drive away with a vehicle that had just severely overheated and now had a check engine light on. We took the vehicle to Nissan ourselves, and Nissan CONFIRMED the check engine light issue was caused by the overheating incident. After having our vehicle for over a month, this is the level of quality control and professionalism we received. Releasing a vehicle without properly checking the cooling system after collision repairs is dangerous and unacceptable. The lack of accountability, communication, and concern for customer safety from G&C was honestly unbelievable. I would never trust this shop again.
