Taller de Tapas was just across the street from the apartment we were renting and Omg...what an amazing find!!! My husband and I brought our 7month old daughter to eat a later dinner at the terrace and we had an amazing experience. Aitor was our waiter and he was so kind and friendly!! He was very attentive and I think our baby girl loved him!! The people watching on the terrace cannot be beat and the prices are very affordable especially for a place on las ramblas. Some of my favorite include the patatas bravas, hamburguesa de la Kate, Montadito con jamon and the pimientos de patron!! Some of the meh included the tortilla de patatas and bomba con carne. We also loved the wine that Aitor recommended-- Entrelobos! We might've had 2 bottles heheheh. Totally worth the value and ambiance!! I'll be coming back!!

Had just got into Barcelona- were starving- needed something quick- it was a Sunday- we found a spot in their sidewalk spot immediately- so decided to just go in! Was satisfying- nothing fancy - was simple - and hit the spot. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful! Spot is just cute- surrounded by the big city hustle bustle! Patatas brava- have had better fancier ones- but these were ok too Prawns- were yummy 4 kinds of hummus Steak: really liked this, was simply prepared - but the steak bites, pepper, potatoes, garlic all was very satisfying!!

Decent but not stupendous. I'll go along with the other reviews. Fried goat cheese salad was interesting. Octopus was very good. Shrimp was good but small and a little unseasoned. Croquettes are croquettes. We wanted the steak but they only served it in 18oz servings or larger and there were only two of us. It was relatively inexpensive at $5 for 3.5oz. Note, all this was in euro and grams at the restaurant. Pro tip: Outdoor seating comes with a 15 percent price premium

There are so many different Tapas restaurants to choose from in Barcelona...it's overwhelming, however, Taller de Tapas gave my friend group everything we were looking for! We wanted to have some traditional food, Paella/tapas, and to dine somewhere on the nicer side for our first night in Barcelona. The Paella was so good, better then the one I had in Madrid. The restaurant was very nice and vibey. The Tapas were amazing!! Make a reservation if you decide to try this place out.

We were looking for a place to have dinner near our hotel and stumbled upon this gem! It's beautifully decorated with a fun, date night vibe. Service was great from the moment we were seated, to our orders, and getting the check. Super happy with the service and the food! The price was reasonable for a meal for 2. We didn't order any drinks, just 3 tapas and a steak to share. The steak came with fries and it was a good portion to share! The calamari was super flavorful compared to a lot of other places around the area.

Stopped in for a late dinner after arriving in Barcelona that evening . Ordered a salad and steak. The service was fast and surprisingly efficient. The food was delicious! The only thing was the lemon wedge placed in my Pepsi. Not a thing where I'm from.

Taller de Tapas was recommended by our tour guide. She said the food served is very good for the price. I ordered Russian salad and cod tapas. The Russian salad was a potato salad with tuna. It was very good with bread sticks. The cod fish tapa was breaded snd deep fried. It was tasty too. Cava was sparkling wine, not sweet, on the dry side. The crowds started to come in around 11:45a. Its s popular place for casual diners and business people, so it must be well liked. We enjoyed our visit and food at Taller de Tapas.

This place was such a nice little Tapas place to eat. I highly recommend the potatoes. They were amazing. Nice view sitting outside.

Staffs are friendly and speaks English. We ordered fried squid, grilled shrimp, grilled squid, mussels, sirloin steak, fried small fish, seafood and vegetable paella. The fried squid and grilled squid was very tasty. Fried small fish and mussels was ok. Sirloin steak was tender. The grilled shrimp was not fresh. The seafood paella was under cooked, we have to send it back.

Ordered the Caesar and prawns. Ceasar was smothered with dressing and lunch meats. Prawns had no flavor.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

We were happy to enter the cozy La Alcoba Azul and seated by a smiling host immediately & presented with menus. The interior looks almost like a wine cellar with brick vaulted ceilings. The offerings are best described as fusion tapas but there are a few traditional bites as well. Our waiter presented us with an amuse bouché of pumpkin hummus topped with roasted pepitas on an herbed toasted baguette crisp. DELICIOUS! We confidently ordered the tomato tartare with avocado cream, basil, olive powder and rosemary olive oil caviar as well as a half order of cured Iberican meats featuring chorizo, loin, sausage and ham, an order of the hummus with black olives, parsley, pine nuts and pita triangles. All were terrific! We especially enjoyed the meats and tomato tartare. I enjoyed a red sangria that was satisfying and happened to be topped with cinnamon...a first and welcome addition for me. La Alcoba Azul is a spot we'll keep on our tapas go to list! You shouldn't hesitate to visit.

It is tight inside, and we were tucked into the back room, but in a cozy way. Service is slow in that classic European way, not sad slow, but the kind of slow that reminds you to savor the moment because you are on vacation. The menu descriptions were a little vague, so we took a few stabs in the dark. The eggplant dish we ordered ended up being my favorite, and the hummus with lamb was also very good. I usually love olives, but these did not hit for me. They were a bit too dry and firm, so buyer beware if you are picky about olives. All in all, a charming spot for a romantic vacation dinner.
