Terrible service. Brought in my iPhone 12 mini to have its back glass repaired for 80$. He then said it would take 20 minutes which was a lie we waited a hour. I do not live in the area so I couldn't just leave. Finally when he finished we got the phone back but he broke the wires inside my phone for the buttons ‍‍‍. He said he would repair for free when he gets the parts and he'll reach out to me. But that was a lie more than a few days fly bye and we call and he said he got the parts. Had to wait at least 1:30 for it to be done when he said it would be ready in 30 minutes. After I got home it turns out the Face ID and front camera was bugged out. Mind I've never had this problem before. At the end of the story was burnt out 80$ and had to buy a new phone. Some shops aren't open and others wouldn't have a quick turnaround. My husband and I just happened upon the Talk N Fix kiosk at the Ontario Mills mall and we were quoted $80 with a turnaround time of 15 mins. I handed him the phone, did my shopping and when I returned the phone was ready. This place is horrible. My son took his phone in for glass back glass repair on Friday the 22nd and they opened the phone up which they shouldn't have. When it was opened, they tore the cable which controls the on and off feature of the device. Parwiz Amiry (I believe) told us the part had to be ordered and it would take 2 days for it to arrive and repair would be same day. They didn't offer a loaner phone or median solution for both parties besides "we only care about our business". Tuesday came around and I expected a call for the part to be in, FAIL. They never called and or updated me with anything. I personally came in Wednesday and they danced around saying the part was just ordered on Monday and it would be a few more days. Friday, finally the part came in and they completed but the repair but offered no concession to us for the headaches and back/forth with them. Zero stars if I could. Got my phone fixed here for $80 asked about their warranty and was told a completely different thing by another employee. Then when I returned to fix the phone because it broke less than three days later they said that that's not part of their warranty. Then they wanted to charge me another $45 to replace the screen again with no guarantee that it would not glitch or break like that again. They even admitted to using knock off parts. I used this kiosk at Ontario mills mask to replace my iPhone 7 screen...DO NOT GO HERE! The screen was very poor quality. The colors were dull. When I told the owner I was unhappy with the quality he kept repeating that it worked and for $70 I should not expect good quality. He was completely unapologetic. I paid half deposit on a $150 + tax for screen replacement, which should include parts + labor + tax. I ordered the screen in July through Talk n Fix and was required to pay half in deposit of $75 + tax. The screen came in sometime in September. But due to the worsening pandemic, I did not want to risk going indoors to a Mall, and after I received my Vaccine in April, I decided to get the phone repaired. The owner now tells me he can't find the screen, didn't even try or wanting to help. I guess he's got my $75 + tax already and he's not on the loosing end, and was not interested in doing anything else to make the situation better. He says go buy your own screen and we'll put it in. That changes the original agreement, and increases my cost. It's only $75, and here's a business that sells out ethics, character, and soul for a mere $75. Everything goes down the toilet. If zero stars were an option, it would be zero. I took my phone in to repair a cracked screen. He did replace my screen. However during the process he cracked the back of my phone and scratched the sides. When I showed him the damage he said he would fix it no problem but he would need to charge me. His reason for charging me is because to replace the back piece is expensive. He cracked the back of my phone so why am I responsible for paying for the damage he did. After further discussing this, he said he would fix the damage he caused and would call me when the part is in. That was weeks ago, no response yet. Stay away from this place. read more

Worst place to get your phone screen fixed at. They say you can return if there's anything wrong with it but that's not true. I "fixed" the screen for an iPhone 8 Plus for $75 and after a few weeks the screen started to peel off and when I went back they told me it was like that because I had "dropped it". So they never replaced it even though they said I could and I didn't have to pay for anything. Please do not go because they will try to charge you again. Do not go to this place. The only reason I'm giving it an 1 star is because the salesperson who helped me a dew days ago was cordial, even though I had to wait 10 minutes until he got off the phone. I bought ear buds and wasnt sure it was the right one that my husband wanted. I voiced my concern to the salesperson and he assured me that I could return it. I thought that I would receive a refund back on my credit card (granted, I should have looked ay the receipt that it is exchangw only. Three days later, I took it back because it wasnt the right one. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD GETTING MY PHONE FIXED. So I go to the Ontario Mills location and pay 80 dollars for these men to fix my iPhone. Right before they fixed it they specifically went through with checking my phone and camera making sure everything else worked, AND IT DID. I get home that day and my front camera is completely unresponsive every time I pull it up the screen is black. That didn't bother me too much considering there was a warranty so I go back the very next day (Sunday 7/29/18) and ask for them to fix THEIR MISTAKE kindly. These guy WAHEED checks my phone out try's to fix it and realizing he can't tries to insult my intelligence by making it seem like it was my fault my camera didn't work and saying that he's only checking it as a curtesy service thing TRYING TO PRETEND LIKE THERE WAS NO WARRANTY as if didn't come back the very next day. Instead of him trying to compensate with me, He continues to argue with me. All I wanted was a refund so I can get my phone fixed by people who knew what they are doing and he refused and responds with "and what are you going to do with that money" the money I payed for, for a service to FIX my phone and I get it the exact opposite.
