We had the pleasure of working with Kate as our designer and Daniel as our project manager, and both were exceptional throughout the entire process. Professionalism: From start to finish, Remodel Works handled our project with professionalism, organization, and clear communication. Kate walked us through every step of the design process, provided excellent suggestions, and showed tremendous patience as we worked through the many decisions involved in selecting materials. Her expertise and guidance made the design process both enjoyable and manageable. Daniel was equally outstanding. He clearly communicated the timing and details of the renovation, was frequently on site to oversee important decisions and address issues, and was always easy to reach when questions arose. Most importantly, he continued to follow up with us even after the project was completed to make sure that a few minor revisions were taken care of. That level of follow-through really stood out to us. Everyone who worked on our project was professional, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. We would often stop by to check on the progress, and we were always greeted warmly and given a quick update on what was being worked on that day. Organization: Remodel Works was extremely organized throughout the entire project. The process began with detailed renderings that allowed us to visualize what our spaces would look like. As we selected materials, we received highly realistic renderings that gave us confidence in our choices and helped us see how everything would come together. Before construction began, we received a comprehensive project package that included CAD drawings and detailed catalogs of all the materials we had selected. Daniel also spent several hours walking through the entire renovation with us before work began to make sure everyone was aligned on the plan and details. Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.

He made sure we understood every phase of the project, kept us updated, and always followed through on what he promised. What really stood out, though, was his level of commitment. More than once I texted him late at night with a question, specifically telling him there was no rush to respond until the next day--and almost every time he answered anyway. That kind of dedication is rare. The project included removing our old concrete patio, regrading the yard, installing new pavers, artificial turf, a beautiful Alumawood patio cover with lighting and ceiling fans, new vinyl fencing and gate, and several other improvements. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, and the backyard is now a space our family uses every day. One thing I'll remember most is how Sean interacted with our family. We have two young boys who were absolutely fascinated by every stage of the construction. Sean always took the time to talk with them, answer their questions, and make them feel included. They looked forward to seeing him every day, and by the end of the project he honestly felt like part of the family. Those little moments meant just as much to us as the finished backyard. There was a lot to like…read moreabout the process, but a few technical design choices kept it from being a perfect five-star experience. The Pros: Permit Handling: They were fantastic at expediting the permit process with the city. Especially Sean and Abigail for calling the city almost daily. This saved me a massive headache and kept the project moving forward. Flexibility: Sean Shlomo Norianl was the project manager and Martin was the site manager. They were both friendly and open to talking over about the plan, especially when I point out potential issues. The whole work crew were also easy to work with and accommodating to my schedule and requests. Aesthetics: The overall finish and "look" of the bathroom is beautiful. The craftsmanship on the tiling and fixtures is visually high-end. The Cons: The "functional" design of the shower floor missed the mark for me: Extreme Grading: The slope toward the drain is quite aggressive. It feels noticeably "sunken in" when you stand in it, which is a bit jarring compared to the rest of the floor. Door Clearance: They opted not to install a raised ledge (curb) for the glass door. Because the door sits so low to the ground, it cannot swing outward if there is a bath mat placed outside. It's a small detail that has a big impact on how I use the space daily. Bottom Line: I would recommend them for their efficiency and professionalism, but I'd advise future clients to be very specific about the technical layout of everything and check the work to make sure you are happy with everything. If you are not, tell Sean right away. UPDATE: Sean reached out and offer to make the shower flooring right. This is why I would always recommend working with Sean and his crew because they will work with you. I'm updating the review to a 5 star.

We had Apex replace the tile roof, all the windows and paint the outside of the house. Big job and…read morehonestly we were not looking forward to dealing with all of it. The roof came first and they did find some bad wood once the old tile was off, which of course nobody wants to hear. But they showed us everything and it made sense. No weird surprise bill with no explanation. The windows came out really nice too. House is quieter now and the front looks much cleaner than before. Paint was the last part and we went back and forth on the color more than we probably should have. They were patient with us. There were a few messy days, thats just part of it, but overall they did a really good job and the house looks like a different place now. Glad we did everything at once.

Absence of project manager on site during critical construction activities. 5. Creation of structural risk requiring engineering review and potential remediation. 6. Late disclosure of major design/feasibility issues after finalization. 7. Refusal to perform integral components of the agreed design unless homeowner pays substantial additional sums ($15,000-$30,000). 8. They induced the agreement through false promises, including: Premium "custom kitchen" capabilities; Designer support "every step of the way"; 10-12 week timeline. We are coming up on 20+ weeks with the job currently on pause. 9. Secured agreement to a premium-priced custom kitchen, only to later unlawfully attempt to narrow the agreed scope by refusing to install high-end appliances. 10. Unjustified design charges for a layout that was negligently prepared and directly caused the purchase of a tub that could not fit, resulting in additional out-of-pocket losses. 11. They represented that a designer would assist "every step of the way." In reality, the designer was: Slow to act, at times unresponsive, and not meaningfully involved in decision-making. Was forced to repeatedly request and chase basic design support. 12. Promise of active, hands-on designer involvement was used to induce signing of the contract. They knew or should have known: The designer lacked availability and the level of service promised would not be provided. After contract execution, they minimized this by saying the designer was "busy" or "slow". 13. There is evidence of water intrusion from the ceiling causing potential property damage, which they failed to disclose and upon information and belief concealed despite having knowledge or reason to know of the condition. 14. Conduct substantially defeating the purpose of the contract.

The initial design was good, but together we landed on something even better because they actually listened and engaged. Never once felt like we were being told what to do. Timeline and contractor coordination? On point. There was a moment where a trade was running behind and we raised it -- they took the feedback well and kept things moving. There was also a moment where we pushed back on the slab count and rather than brushing us off, they looped in the right people to work it through with us. That's just good business. What really stands out though is the design thoughtfulness. They respected our very specific taste while also gently steering us toward choices we'd love long-term. And they brought ideas we never would've come up with -- like building in an air switch cutout -- little details that make everyday life in the kitchen so much nicer. Came in pretty much on time.
