The menu was simple and basic but offered some creative options. Prices were about average for the area, but sadly the portions were a bit off. Outdoor seating, order at the bar inside, get your own water, buss your own table and minimal service, yet tip up front at time of ordering, lol. Still had a good 1st time and was glad to see they had cornhole set up, decent gear!... Unfortunately no mini golf like Schoolhaus Brewhaus use to offer. They had a solid beer selection and variety of the most popular brews. High hopes this spot works out for them and they can revive the old Schoolhaus Brewhaus atmosphere that was loved by all of Southern Oregon.

I'm not a big drink person but this beer was hands down a favorite. Got the Spicy Rooster too which was just as good. Their house rootbeer Rogue Rootbeer was unlike anything we've tasted before. It was clearly a labor of love brought to perfection. The prawns were good and the Valley View Viognier- hands down the best wine we've ever had. We got the kids chicken and the kids grilled cheese and they had zero complaints. I'd also like to note that the fries were everything a French fry should be. Beyond crispy and the perfect width. Not too thick not too skinny. They had Jack Johnson Station playing on Spotify and it was all the right vibes. Feel good, chill, happy tunes set the night right. The atmosphere was amazing. Perfect weather, sitting under the trees lit with Edison lights. We found out this might be a temporary restaurant and we really hope that's not the case. We come to Jacksonville from around San Francisco once a year. This place will be occupying my mind and I know I'll miss it terribly. I would be really sad if it wasn't here in the future. Everyone was friendly and I can see this place really shining bright if more people knew about it. Hope this new business grows into a full blown restaurant and still uses the patio because it was such a great experience.

The second I saw on IG that their special was (what I call) a bánh mì-inspired pizza, I knew it had my name written all over it. It was absolutely outstanding, and honestly, I wish I had eaten it there because it deserved to be enjoyed fresh. The pepperoni is still a favorite every single time. The potato wedges remain undefeated, but LORDT... dipping them in the chimichurri sauce (because I like making adventurous sauce choices) took them to a whole new level. The wings weren't my personal favorite, but once I gave them the chimichurri treatment, everything was right again. And finally... the chocolate cake. I obviously had to get right into it (I have no picture to show for it). I generously shared two bites with my significant other before happily devouring the rest myself. No regrets.

I asked for the pesto on the side and it was not delivered. When I spoke to a manager she claimed, "It must have been miscommunicated because it was marked on the ticket as 'no pesto'". Hmmm I was very clear when ordering. I specificallyasked the cashier, "Can I get the pesto on the side?" She clearly answered, "Of course.". I'm not a fan of passive-aggressively blaming the customer. There was no miscommunication. Asked & answered. 1. Unacceptable food item. 2. Incorrect order delivered. 3. Insulting the customer. Three strikes!

Go for the lunch special and the vibes. A year or so ago they opened an outdoor bar area with a big…read morescreen TV with table-side service. It's developed a local cult following for sporting events. We watched most of the World Cup 26 games out there and enjoyed slices and beers. Maybe I'll see you there. Pro tip here is to not sleep on the salads. They are made really well, with balanced flavors and textures. It's a perfect meal to get the lunch special which comes with a salad of your choice (I recommend the Creekside salad) and a slice of pizza. The main issue is if you are a pizza snob (guilty as charged), the bakes on the pizzas are really inconsistent. They often don't use a cooling rack when the pizzas come out, so the crust instantly becomes moist from trapped steam. When the kitchen is slammed, the pizzas are flop city, and sometimes a soupy mess. If they set up quality measures to get a nice crisp crust, they could keep up with their cross-town rivals in the plaza. For now they trail on pizza quality due to inconsistency. Because of all this, I think of Creekside as more of a bar than a specialty pizza place. I enjoy it for what it is, which is pretty darn good.

I've been visiting this spot since I first moved to Ashland in 2022, but I'm disappointed to say…read moreI've noticed a steady decline in meat quality over that time. Speaking, the brisket in the Banh Mi was unfortunately tough and lacked the tenderness you'd expect from a properly smoked or braised cut. It had the distinct texture of a pre-packaged Sysco-style product, or perhaps it was a cold portion reheated on a flat top without being properly rehydrated, leaving it dry and chewy. I understand that protein carries a high food cost, especially in the current market. However, a more effective approach might be to balance the menu engineering by leaning on lower food cost items, like seasonal sides or creative vegetarian options, to offset the expense of sourcing and correctly preparing higher-end brisket. This would allow for a better product that justifies its price point, covers its own cost, and ultimately helps the company's bottom line while maintaining the quality standards this town deserves. I'd love to see a return to the quality I experienced a few years ago. All and all, despite the brisket. The service was kind and friendly.

Oh man, the avocado was so fresh and perfectly seasoned! Should you eat here? My recommendation is:…read more Yes, if you've stopped by every "New American" eatery in Ashland and want to relive your youthful visit to the Philippines and can't find any other place. No, if you're expecting perfect execution of the classics. Half of what you'd eat here, is more along the lines of "Pinoy-inspired". If you go here, be aware: - There is no fish sauce on the table - There is no vinegar chili sauce on the table - There is no salt on the table - A lot of the dishes here are missing many, many traditional ingredients. Many of which can be pre-stocked ahead of time or grown locally, so there shouldn't be a good reason why these dishes shouldn't have at least 50% of the base requirements. Adobo Chicken Seasoned and fairly traditional tasing with a good bit of seasoning and flavor. IMO lacking some tanginess, but that's a family style preference and can change from place to place. Green Mango Salad Has all the ingredients of a green mango salad but lacks the most important ingredient; shrimp paste and a pinch of salt. Kare-Kare Avoid this dish. I ordered this because one of the first photos showed shank bones (shank or flank is used as an acceptable replacement for what is traditionally Ox tail), so I was fully expecting something of that nature, especially considering shank is plentiful in this area. The meat added was very dry slices. The base lacked salt and fat during the cooking process, so it came out very bland. The string beans were boiled (again without any salt). String beans in this dish are traditionally served fresh, or if you cook them, you cook them in the broth, and/or pre cook them with some type of sodium on a pan and thrown into the pot. And because the base lacked fat that would have come from shank or ox tails, the base really suffered. Another missing ingredient was shrimp paste, and braised eggplant. Very disappointing. Sinigang Don't order this. This dish tased like water with a little bit of tamarind powder. This dish is missing so many ingredients: Taro root, okra, chili, fish sauce, fresh tamarind, water spinach. Powder is fine but it's missing so much that makes this dish unique and flavorful. Also note that this place is on the pricier side, so not getting the basics right hurt a little more than just the wallet.
