I love this outlet incarnation of Talbots, especially when they are having a sale.

Love love GGG! It is well taken care of with friendly staffing. They carry items from sports…read moreequipment, to gymnastics Leo's, women's, men and children's clothing. Well organized and group by category. The list below is dependent upon season, but this is what I've seen there. Items carried: Sports goods All age/gender clothing Backpacks Socks Sneakers/shoes/cleats Outdoor equipment Jackets and outerwear Snow pants Swimgear Tennis/golf clothing Coolers similar to yeti Pros: Great deals Sale events on top of already discounted prices Can find discontinued items from dicks Exterior door and really close parking Cons: Resellers come from other states and buy out a lot of the inventory at this location. They come with their cell phone and buy out entire styles of clothing. It's really discouraging, because it left the store almost bare in July when I witnessed this predatory behavior that only continues to perpetuate inflation. One thing that is confusing is the curbside parking spaces as there is no way to purchase online from what I can gather. Definitely a must stop for back to school.

It is located on the second floor where Lord and Taylor was once located, and above the soon to open Primark store on the first floor. Dick's Warehouse offers reductions up to 70% and has new weekly markdowns. It is a huge space with lots and lots of merchandise. Most, but not all of it, appeared to be wearing apparel. My wife got a good deal on a pair of sandals.

Bargain Outlet has fixtures for bathrooms, tiling and cabinetry for bathrooms and kitchens, and…read moreflooring materials for bathrooms, kitchens, and most other rooms in your house. They also have windows and doors. And that's about it. It's all discounted, most of it new but off-brand but some of it product overruns, the stock is rather unpredictable but what they have typically runs a lot cheaper than the Lowe's and Home Depot and moderately cheaper than Lumber Liquidators and the like. If you're not picky, or if you're building for somebody else's renovation, you can find good bargains here. As for long-term quality, I know not: everything here seems to be fairly elemental. There are a few semi-custom things you can order (windows, notably) but exactly how custom is hard to tell. In any event, there's definitely money to be saved but it does depend on what your tolerance range is for style and selection. Probably worth poking your head in if you're doing your own home renovation, particularly on a rental or an in-law unit. Location is at 7 and Watt St., you have to turn onto Watt from 7 and go by United Buffet, Ocean State, and the panoply of dollar stores through the parking lot to get to Bargain Outlet all the way at the end.

All paperwork shows I ordered correctly, I called to talk to manager and was told oh well so sorry we're not making it right. Shame on them! Will never use them again and learned a lesson. Customer service is long gone & who cares we got your $$ Buyer beware they don't care when their associates make mistakes that cost you money to fix! My business can find better going forward.. One star is being generous!

Normally my wife shops at the Lake George Outlet branch of their stores (they also have stores in…read moreVermont and Massachusetts) because the selection there is a little larger than our local Troy store, and there are so many other outlets to browse in. But the Troy store being closer to home can be utilized for picking up special order items or making exchanges. This saves a second drive to the north country. I recently changed my mind on some slippers that I had purchased at the Lake George location and brought them the next day to the Troy location to see what was available for an exchange. Staff were very helpful in identifying what I was looking for and I was able to immediately replace one pair of slippers while a second pair were located in their Manchester, VT store. Troy staff called Manchester and had them ship my order to the Troy store. The following day I received a phone message that the slippers had arrived from Manchester and were available for pickup. You can't beat service like that.

First thing I noticed when I walked in, the floors are covered with boxes, out in the aisles and stacked up everywhere. There were no other customers but the employees just seemed to be standing around, so they must have had no problem with it being like that? They ask you again and again, and again if you need any help, after I said no three times. I was simply just trying to look at the shoes and compare prices but they are extremely pushy like they just want you out of the store. Not to mention when you do get a moment to think they are slowly circling around you and staring at you, I'm guessing this is to make sure you aren't going to attempt to steal from them? For a place where everything is priced around 100-200 dollars I would expect better. Also didn't carry anything in my size, I was told we could order my shoe from another location and I would have to come back and pick it up.. but they sounded more annoyed and at this point I decided not to burden them any further with my presence.
