There is an uneven balance to this mall... there's an area where it looks updated. Then other spots... just feels old and icky. The food court is not very appealing. The bathrooms are not very clean. That's just the look and feel, aesthetically very old mall. I wouldn't be able to tell about service bc I hardly saw anyone with uniform that looks like they work for the mall operations. As for shops, there are quite a few decent stores - Zara, H&M, Victoria Secrets, Primack, REI, very typical mall brands. If you ever need something, outfit for something, hit this mall up. I'm excited to see a Singapore Cafe type spot is opening soon! Can't wait.

Not our favorite mall in the area but a good one! There is loads to do with kids there-escape…read morerooms, 5wits, Dave and busters, Billy bees, trampoline park, mini golf, and more! The restaurants are great and the theater is huge. There are some decent clothing stores and fun shops like lush and bath and bodywork's etc. It's a fun place to kill a few hours or a whole day if you wanted! It can be dirty in the bathrooms but I think that it's just that busy all the time it's hard to keep up with.

Really depends on what you need. We walked out with 1 pair of liquidation sneakers that were originally $80 I believe, but came to $44. My partner found a pair of men's gym shorts that were only $4.97 - a true steal. There were lots of great deals but sometimes lacking in size. Take your time to walk the aisles.

It's all discounted, most of it new but off-brand but some of it product overruns, the stock is rather unpredictable but what they have typically runs a lot cheaper than the Lowe's and Home Depot and moderately cheaper than Lumber Liquidators and the like. If you're not picky, or if you're building for somebody else's renovation, you can find good bargains here. As for long-term quality, I know not: everything here seems to be fairly elemental. There are a few semi-custom things you can order (windows, notably) but exactly how custom is hard to tell. In any event, there's definitely money to be saved but it does depend on what your tolerance range is for style and selection. Probably worth poking your head in if you're doing your own home renovation, particularly on a rental or an in-law unit. Location is at 7 and Watt St., you have to turn onto Watt from 7 and go by United Buffet, Ocean State, and the panoply of dollar stores through the parking lot to get to Bargain Outlet all the way at the end.

While Forever 21 had two entrances from the upper parking lot, REI has only one entrance. That second entrance and former retail space has been turned into a passageway with seating leading directly from the parking lot into the main concourse of the upper Mall level. From inside the Mall this passageway can be found between Lululemon and OraSempre, directly across from Michael Kors. REI has basically an outlet atmosphere - concrete floor, steel girder ceiling. Since I was there the day after their grand opening, there were plenty of signs announcing additional percentages off. You do NOT need to purchase a one-time co-op membership to shop in the store. Staff we encountered were helpful. Several times I was approached by an employee and asked if I needed any help finding something.

I recently changed my mind on some slippers that I had purchased at the Lake George location and brought them the next day to the Troy location to see what was available for an exchange. Staff were very helpful in identifying what I was looking for and I was able to immediately replace one pair of slippers while a second pair were located in their Manchester, VT store. Troy staff called Manchester and had them ship my order to the Troy store. The following day I received a phone message that the slippers had arrived from Manchester and were available for pickup. You can't beat service like that.

Also didn't carry anything in my size, I was told we could order my shoe from another location and I would have to come back and pick it up.. but they sounded more annoyed and at this point I decided not to burden them any further with my presence.
