My daughter has struggled with sensory issues her entire life that make certain situations challenging. After finding the perfect dress she was so excited to try it on and show her friends. We struggled in the dressing room because I couldn't figure out how to help her get it on and she ended up stuck at one point. Long story short when we finally got the dress on I couldn't figure out how to lace the back and reached out to the associate for guidance. She flat out refused to help stating "No I don't want to go in there". My daughter was brought to tears and of course the 3 girls refused to buy the dresses they all wanted out of principal. It pains me that in 2026 this is how people treat others with disabilities.

What you have to remember, they will only take what they need!!! I brought in a ralph lauren dress last fall they passed on, but they took it yesterday. Don't bring in your whole closet, try to keep to a bag or basket. they usually only take current fashion -although did see a pair of polo flip flops from twenty years ago, i used to buy at Marshalls for 10.00 so they do seem to make some exceptions. Consignment is a tough business, these ladies make it work, it's a nice shop. :)

I brought new Loft, Banana Republic, Anthro, Lulu, Gap - all the brands that they take and spring / summer styles. It took them 3 hours to go through everything and only took 5 items. The staff I dealt with were rude and dismissive, I felt like a bother. You're better off going to Plato's across the way..
