Clearance stores --unlike outlets-- sell excess original stock from Talbots retail stores and Talbots catalog sales. Whereas, outlets sell a lot of items made only for sale at the outlets and never sold in Talbots retail stores. Almost everything today was an extra 80% off already reduced prices. Wow! But, there are no returns permitted, so use the very nice dressing room. This large store is well organized into misses, petites, and plus sizes sections. Plus there are displays of shoes, scarves, handbags, and jewelry. The racks and turnstiles are kept pristine by the helpful, conscientious employees. My daughter found classic shorts in white and navy at only $10. each plus a bathing suit cover.
