So far, only one other review has addressed the rest of the business which includes women's clothing, jewelry, candy, soaps and other personal care products, greeting cards, knickknacks, and holiday gifts. There is a sign on the back of the building where the main entrance is located, directing bridal service customers in one direction and all others to a different entrance. We were in search of holiday gift ideas and purchases so we avoided the bridal entrance - you probably need an appointment to shop there in any event. As already noted, there are a lot of things for sale in the main store, and that may be a problem. While the clothing, almost exclusively for women ( I saw a sign saying they have men's hats and scarves) appears to be well organized by color, there is so much of it packed into racks and on shelves that it actually is a chore to browse. If you are looking for products made in the U.S.A. or Canada, there are options available. Staff were friendly and helpful in our search for personal care products. They offered to gift bag our purchase and removed all price stickers. However, when we requested who made their chocolate candy, the only response was that it came from a variety of places. As one other reviewer pointed out, an important feature that is lacking in the store is a restroom for customers. You may have to drive a mile or so to find one (Hannaford? Shop Rite?). Also note that they do not take the American Express card.

No complaints whatsoever, and my dress fit like a glove. He was able to work with the multiple layers of tulle underneath my dress as well as the intricate bead and lacework, which was very impressive. We also got tuxes for my husband and his groomsmen for our wedding in 2015, and I absolutely LOVED how they all looked together. Great selection, and the time he spent with us during fittings was much appreciated. I will continue to see Futia's for any future alterations we may need.

Theresa said it would be ready in five days or less and that she would call me when it was done. I didn't get a call and three weeks later stopped in to pick up the valance thinking somehow I missed her call. The valance wasn't ready, but I could see it on her table that she was working on it. Theresa said it would be ready soon and that she would call me. She never did. I called her again after another three weeks, and it still was not ready. She told me to come in in another two days. After a total of 45 days I was finally able to pick up my valence. By then I learned that she had overcharged me for this simple job. I had paid her $50. When I picked up the valence, I asked for a partial refund, either by credit or cash, for both waiting so long and told her that I knew she had overcharged me. She would not do it but said she would give me a discount the next time I come in. Of course, there won't be a next time because I am not going back. Two years ago I brought in a dress for a fitting that I was wearing to a formal occasion. When I picked it up, the zipper did not lay flat and was bunched up. She said nothing could be done about that. This woman's lack of customer caring, satisfaction and service is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend her, but if you do go, make sure you know what you're getting into.

I went back in, he took the exact same measurements, and I didn't hear anything for two months. When the suit came in, it needed alterations, but getting those done was its own process - the shop was randomly closed one Saturday because of the worker's car trouble. I coordinated a time to drive back over and meet him there and he said he would be away the following weekend so I could pick up the finished suit at their store in Latham. When I drove out to Latham the following weekend, the suit wasn't there. It took about three months from the day that I ordered it to actually pick it up and after a few weeks, I had to return to get it fixed because the jacket stitching had come undone at the seam.
