I understand she said she was having family issues but that doesn't mean to produce quality work, I stated that she had it for over 3 weeks and she stated, "the dress has been done for over 3 weeks" and I asked why she didn't call me if it was like she promised, she said a family emergency... The laundromat completely ruined them with both the length being shrunk and as a result the texture being ruined on all 4 panels. Their official store receipt explicitly states they will pay "up to 10x the cost of service" for damage, which equals $640. The actual replacement cost for my drapes was less. Despite their own written policy covering this full amount, they refuse to pay the amount to replace. The staff when I went in person said it shouldn't be a problem to get fully refunded. Now after numerous calls over the past few weeks, the manager of the organization will not reach out to me and is using his team to act as the in-between. They also admitted that no one even knows who monitors or accesses their company email inbox, making communication impossible. Because this business does not care about making things right and treating their customers fairly by honoring their written guarantees, I have officially filed formal complaints with the New York State Attorney General's Office and the Division of Consumer Protection. They actually listed brands on my receipt. Seems like they randomly make up prices based on the item. Every shirt was a different price. I was charged $25 to dryclean one dress! $150 for 12 items! They typically send out coupons to my email each month that can save some bucks, which I appreciate since dry cleaning and pressing services aren't cheap. They offer a nice range of services and I love being able to both drop off and pickup my items anytime day or night with their convenient automated system. The times that I've interacted with the staff there had always been very positive too. After trying several other area dry cleaning businesses when I first moved to the area, this place quickly became the one I have stuck with for the past several years.

Due to my washer not working, I had the opportunity to utilize Northern Laundry...what a pleasant…read moresurprise!! The place is immaculate with various different size washers which are extremely quick. Let's face it, having to go to a laundromat isn't one's favorite thing to do but this was fast and clean. The customers were very nice and the fact that it is so centrally located is definitely a plus. Hopefully my washer will be fixed within the next week or so but if not, I have no issue with utilizing this facility again.
