Friendly team members. I ordered to go and it was delicious! Mixed veggies and chicken kra pow was great! The sticky mango rice was amazing too! All in all this is one is a good Thai food place if you are in the area. The place was clean and spacious. Parking is also free and lots of spaces.

Our FAVORITE thai place in the desert! We have been loyal customers since they were on 111. The owner and OG employees are great and very attentive. Good amount of tables, never have to wait too long. We usually always order the same things and never disappoint! I am vegetarian so there are a lot of options for me. One of my favorites is their orange sauce with tofu, and of course you can chose your spice level. Must try if you are in the area!

Absolutely loved our meal from Talay! They do NOT play around with their spice ya'll. I don't think I ordered anything above a level 3 and everything was SPICY! So if you like authentic Thai flavors, this spot is for you. Ordering for delivery was easy and everything arrived hot. Great portions. The papaya salad is one of the best I've had! The shrimps were a decent size and tasted fresh. Their pad thai and panang curry was super solid. Meats were not overcooked. I would definitely not order your food with a high spice level if you are sensitive to spicy food. But if you like it hot, it's a spicy flavor explosion! We couldn't eat everything in one sitting so we saved some for the next day and it tasted just as good as leftovers. Definitely recommend checking this place out for Thai takeout!

This place is hands-down the best thai place in the Palm Springs area and some of the dishes tasted much better than some of the good places in the BayArea. Spice levels are higher here, ask for 2 or less if you cant handle spice. I eat spicy food and 3 was spicy for me, but the good kind of spicy. The fried rice tasted amazing with the right amount of spice. Another dish to be mentioned is the Mango Curry, so yummy. Sticky rice with coconut icecream and Mango both tasted great. They were able to accommodate a big group (8) for lunch. But for dinner previous night it was completely packed. We couldn't find a spot, but glad we came back for lunch the next day.

Take out: Red Curry, lettuce wraps, Pad Kee Mo, Mongolian beef, & Pad Prik Khing

Wow! We ordered from Talay via DoorDash. Food arrived on time as promised. Quick service and generous portions. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered lettuce wraps, red curry, noodles, Mongolian beef, and prik king chicken. One of the best Thai food I've had. It was nice ordering in and having plenty of leftovers for later. I would order from Talay again.

This was a WONDERFUL GEM! We had the spicy fried rice level 2 was spicy! Then Panang chicken like look nothing left! The wait staff really knew the menu well and worked hard to customize your culinary experience like an expensive restaurant! The Thai ice tea of course was yummy. Antonio was our waiter and BIG THANKS AS EVERYTHING WAS YUM AND YUM!!!

We made it back for take out. Food is always better when you eat in rather than take out because you can't really get the same effect visually or the proper portions of food verses sauce in a to go box. You can see below the same curry dish and the same noodle dish served in house and served in the to go box. However it was still the best Thai food here in the desert that we have had. The only other concern was the combination fried rice was $3 higher than posted on line and the mango desert was $2 higher than their website pricing. We ordered two mango deserts and they came to over $32 with the tax included and it was not the best . I would definitely skip that next time along with the eggplant dish which had fresh ingredients but was on the bland side. The egg rolls were excellent and we would get two orders of those next time.

Arrived in Palm Desert for the weekend and decided on thai for dinner. Found this on yelp and it was very good. Server was great. He even packed all our leftovers. The food was delicious. Price was very reasonable.

The food is good! We ordered fried tofu, fish panang curry (it comes with jasmine rice) and chicken pad thai. All are good! The service was fast. A special shout out to the waiter... Kai. Very respectful and takes pride of his job. The only missing is the character of the restaurant itself. But it's clean and a lot of space.

The chicken satay was very dry with no grill marks ( which was odd). The eggplant dish we ordered tasted nothing like the food on our previous visit. The only good thing was the soup. We were disappointed, as we had been telling our friends how good the food was. Not sure if the chef was having a bad day or if it was a different chef. We really want to support this local business but if the food isn't consistent, it doesn't work for us.

When somebody pays $17 for a sandwich, you expected to have a little flavor The bread was dry and falling apart with every bite. It taste tasted sour. I don't know if it's meant to be that way or if it's just because the bread is going bad I'm not sure.. The only flavor I got was some sort of spread that they put on, but I only got the flavor and probably three bites out of half of the sandwich at least if there were some pickled onions or some kind of seasoning or Italian dressing or something that would taste good but it really just taste like raw vegetables. I know that's what it is but again for 17 bucks at least put some seasoning on there so it tastes decentO It'll probably be a while before I come back as I don't live close and there's nothing pulling me here anymore Also, I sat at the ice cream counter for almost 5 minutes, waiting to be served so then I had to go wait on the other side and by that point I didn't even order an ice cream - I wasn't sure how much longer it would take...

I've been to a few which you think they'll be good but it was a little disappointing. Alway hunting for amazing Thai food... My second time here and it's good. Of course with this heat wave, it's so hot to sit outside which the patio tends to be pretty off limit in the heat. Unless you prefer it. We came for dinner which was still pretty early. There's two main entrance, the front and the side/back where the patio is. And two dining area, front and back. Well we walked in, it was a little daunting as we were the only one there. That does have an effect of do we stay or leave. Anyways, we stayed as we enjoyed our meal last time. It did pick up during our meal. Service was great with our waiter. Constantly refilling our waiter without us having to mentioned it. Menu wise, a good amount of Thai dishes that you would be familiar with. The only downfall, they don't have noodle soup which is a favorite for me. If a restaurant has it, that's a plus. Well they don't carry it. Also there's a bar so that's good as well. Honestly it doesn't matter to me with Thai food if they bring out starters before or with the meal. I'm going to enjoy it regardless. Food, we had the chicken larb. Minced meat with Thai spices and a nice sour sauce. So good and had it with a side of rice. That's normally served with cabbage but this time it's with Napa cabbage. Never had it that way but it was still good. Entrees, the spicy noodles. So many different names for them but all the same. Thin rice noodle with whatever protein and slice veggies all tossed together with a nice sauce on top of lettuce. Some places add that while others don't. Lastly the massaman curry, with carrots, potatoes and peanuts in a rich curry sauce. The food was good and very tasty. Portion wise was plentiful and perfect for a main or à la carte with friends. In the last two years, since we moved here from Las Vegas, a nine year stint in a town with sweet little Off-Strip gems serving amazing food, we've gathered a list of very cool places to enjoy here in the Valley. Thai Hot is cool when you have takeout meals but in person it is truly amazing. I loved the decor and the very spacious seating design which I love in a restaurant where you want to enjoy conversations. The staff immediately welcomed us. My son was taking us to dinner for my husband's birthday. He swooned over the gorgeous looking sweet and sour sea bass. The fish-shaped plate cradled a colorful sea bass with mangoes and vegetables and of course I tried it. The fish was delicately seasoned and just as you would want it to be, very tender. The presentation alone is just perfect. My husband's wide noodle pad see yew brought just the right magical mixture of tender fresh vegetables to the beef, which of course I sampled. And loved. I've always been a noodle fan so I shared some of my crispy pork and noodle dish around the table. This was really good. I require my broccoli to be a star of the show and yes, it was. The pork belly was plentiful and so great! The staff got busy, and we watched the restaurant fill with groups of all sizes. (We had been first to choose a spot after evening service began.) There were at least 16 takeout delivery customers, each of which was greeted and served promptly. One party of 11 enthusiastic young people were thrilled to have a very organized process from our two servers. I watched the staff bring very hot and beautiful platters all around, meanwhile finding time to check on each table, even from a distance with a smile. The two servers balanced their duties with precision. Now this is professional and represented the restaurant with great style. After previously having heard quite a few other diners remark on the food and the physical setting, now I can see how we are so fortunate to have very lovely small businesses who appreciate the customer. We were so thrilled with dinner, that we could not manage a dessert, so we will return for another experience really soon. The menu has something for everyone. Prices are quite reasonable. Located at the northwest corner of Monroe Street and CA-111, in a strip mall with plenty of parking, it's an easy in and out. (Just be sure to watch your exiting because bicycles frequently pass on 111 right at the driveway.)
