I had a free car wash on my receipt from a previous wash I wanted to use before it expired on May 9. The receipt was a little faded which made the bar code hard to read. The car wash attendant even tried to help me by looking at it and entering it for me. But unfortunately after a two attempts he was like sorry I just can't read it, it's too faded. That's not my fault though. You could still read the part on the receipt where it says Super Star Car Wash Coupon Redeem for your FREE Clean Wash. He said sorry that's too bad, I can't read the code to enter so you have to pay. Now it's not like I couldn't pay. I just wanted my free car wash honored and it wasn't my fault the receipt was faded. That's how it printed out for me. Anyway he got annoyed, frustrated and was a little rude about it and then tried to sell me their monthly plan for unlimited washes. Like I'd buy that after his rudeness. I bought a basic wash and went on my way. Just honor the free car wash I clearly had the receipt for. As I waited in their lobby, the oil and the belt were replaced in just over two hours. The money I paid was well worth it, as I felt satisfied and secure in my vehicle after it left the shop. While waiting in the reception area, I overheard the owners speaking with another customer. They offered to assist the other customer when they didn't have to. They were willing to go above and beyond on their own time to help the community. When you come here, you're not just a customer or a number; you become Family, and I like to see that.

From the moment I entered the lobby I felt welcomed and completely at ease with the staff. Yoshi, the counter representative, properly greeted me and was immediately attentive to the issue with my car. After a short explanation as to what was going on with my car the general manager himself, Johnny Nguyen, personally went outside with me to take a quick look under the hood. With complete honesty, yet confidence, he let me know that the issue would require further troubleshooting. I left my car at the shop and was called back a few hours later. I was informed that the issue was indeed a timing matter and that they had the in-house expertise for the required repair. Also, Mr. Nguyen gave me a personal guarantee that his master technician could have it repaired by close of business the following day. I was also given a thorough explanation and very reasonable price quote for the parts, labor, warranty, and total cost. At this point I had complete confidence that I had stopped at the right repair shop. A complete OEM timing kit, which includes a new water pump, was installed and my ten-year old Honda (93k mi.) sounds like it did when it was brand new. I arrived at Brakes Plus at 10am on a Tuesday and my car was ready for pick up at 3pm Wednesday (the very next day). This place has not only the honesty, but also the competence, to get the job done promptly and at a reasonable price. I write this review with complete peace of mind. My confidence in this repair facility cannot be overstated. I do not think I will ever go anywhere else for car repairs.
