I brought my car in to Take 5 Oil Change #60 on Lemmon Ave. in Dallas, yesterday 7/21 for an oil change and state inspection. After 2 hours to finish the job, I found they had broken the molding between the driver's side window and the windshield. They did not mention that there was any damage done, and instead the car was returned with the molding loose. It was obviously different than how it had been given to them. I showed the damage to the assistant manager on site, Julio. The two of us reviewed the video footage. The camera angle wasn't great, but it's clear that the inspector, Jay, stood on the running board and was holding on to the piece of molding that broke. Julio referred me to his manager, Margo Trevizo. I reached out to the number he provided but it was disconnected. I followed up in person at the time Julio said she would be available, and she wasn't there. After returning again later this afternoon, she was dismissive and unwilling to take responsibility for the broken piece.

I e been sitting in line for 20 min with one car in front of me! They still haven't touched my truck. There's two people standing around doing nothing with an entire bay open with no car in it. Now they just pulled a car in front of mine into the other bay I front of three cars behind me. This place should be called takes 45 min oil change.

Clearly this coupon is usable and I'm not sure what the problem was?

Regarding Compliant: On the "so called manager" November 21, 2021 I went to Take 5 Oil Change #0060 at 4004 Lemon Ave on Dallas, TX 75219, I was discriminated and spoken to in a racist manner by the manager "Tony" for trying to get my oil changed. I guess he's new or something because I've been to this location a dozen times in the last 2 years. Anyway--I simply pulled up as I normally would to this location to get my oil change using my 25% discount as an Uber and Lyft driver. I had my decal on display in my car, and upon arrival Tony was unfriendly and spoke to me in a disrespectful tone: " I don't trust the decal that you have in your window. Open up your app for the ride share" app. So I followed his directives, although I have never been asked to do this because I always have my decal displaying in the window, none the less I complied, As I was opening up my Ride share apps Tony continued to make antagonizing comments that people are trying to manipulate the system, to get discounts. Quiet but observant to his comments, I said "just a moment I'll open it for you." But--When I went to open up the app, he "Tony" continued with "get your paper up"..."your a poor nigger!" I then got out of my car and asked him to repeat what he said"....surprised and angered by his words, I didn't feel completely uncomfortable with the servicemen being underneath my car and the treatment that I was receiving at no fault of my own. I told him I would like to speak with a manager, and he laughed and smirked and said I am the manager! I said OK then what's your name and he told me "Tony Mahoney." (He obviously gave a fake name). I then returned the comments "sir it's not a problem about the ride-share app if the price is $100 it's no problem"--Just finished up my car and let me leave". I guess He "Tony" was feeling tough and wanted to be a bully and "power-flex" some more or something---because he then proceeded to say "get the fuck off my property---get your poor ass out of here." Tony then put his entire face in my car with me sitting at in the driver passenger side and shouted at me, "get the fuck off my property!" That's when I got out of my car a 2nd time to see if this asshole really wanted "all the smoke"--because he had more than provoked a humble giant with his ignorant, offensive-racist-slandering remarks! I was told to leave and that he was "banded from all locations," which will utterly ridiculous and stupid. I didn't come to that location for any confrontations, but this power-driven dusty ass man made my experience horrible! Although there is not enough words for me to express how I tried ro be polite and deescalate this entire situation, it just goes to show you the people take your kindness for weakness. I guess because I had a baseball cap on and a jogging suit on (or) i was treated leas than a person? All I know is judging and cursing at me is a "no-no". Showing respect in customer's as the "manager was absent. Let's be clear--I never refused to pay, and I was waiting on them to finish the job that they started. I believe that Tony just wanted to flex his power and show the other guys that he was an ass hole. You did not get to say "fuck you bitch get the fuck out of here"...and think it's all good. When I got out my car, and stood up to see what he wanted to do, he changed his tone... I will never return to a take 5 location-- and as far as this stupid manager--It's just a matter of time before somebody beats his ass for being a racist towards them. I will be filing charged it if there's any damage to my car then the store would be liable. The oil change was not completed and he left my car and oil open underneath the engine. There was no receipt and needless to say "take 5 oil change hires anybody & I will NEVER give my business to them again! If the manager did not want to give me the discount based upon my rideshare app, I had no problem with that. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. "Tony" must hate his life to treat women that way. Oh yeah, he told me that I was banned from take five oil change location----like I really give a fuck?! Watch out for him and his buddies that are working together to give black people a hard time----especially women. Again if you were African-American---beware of this location, because these "white guys" off Lemmon Ave. are unprofessional and over staffed. You'll know Tony when you see him---he has some very brown--disgusting teeth in his mouth--that looks like he's been chewing on rocks.

All these people are working so hard! I had to go to this location leaving another bc of my air filter was out of stock. But that's ok, this location was just as great. Offered big water bottles as well! All of them work super efficient & have a solid team and way of working together. Once again great price, I love how I can just stay in the car while the oil change happens. The manager Margo here was very on top of it has a wonderful team!

Should be called take 30. You'll get placed in line then they forget you. Seems like everyone 's first day at work. I'll never come back.

Not happy with a 1 hour wait ...no joke ...1 hour ... better luck next time! 1 hour and 70 bucks later for an oil change!

I called ahead to find out what a full synthetic Mobile 1 oil change cost. The lady told me that…read moreit was $89 plus $9 for each additional quart of oil. She sent me a $25 coupon. So, I expected just under $100 all out. When I arrived, I was told that the $89 wasn't full synthetic Mobile 1, and that was $124 plus $13 for the additional quart. But, I had already committed to being there, so go ahead. It needed an air filter, so that was an extra $15 or so. He couldn't figure out how to check the cabin filter, so he just skipped it. At the end of the day, it was $170 after the coupon. When I looked at the invoice, there was a separate $14 charge for the oil filter and a $6 shop fee. When I inquired about why I was charged for the oil filter, he said that it is no longer included at Take 5. In my 30 years of owning cars, the filter is included in the price of the oil change everywhere I have gone. Overall, I should have taken it to a regular shop that charges $120 all in or the $87 that I could've gotten the oil plus better quality filters at AutoZone. I won't return to a company that relies upon scams, hidden fees, and misleading customers.

This place operates with a complete lack of professionalism. During my oil change, the employees…read morerepeatedly attempted to flirt with me, asking intrusive personal questions about my plans, where I go out on weekends, and what bars they could "find" me at. They spent more time lingering at my window engaging in inappropriate conversation than focusing on the service they were being paid to perform. A few weeks later, I was forced to take my vehicle to another shop after it was discovered to be dangerously low on oil. There were no engine issues, and the mechanic's assessment strongly suggested that this location failed to add an adequate amount of oil during my service. Between the behavior and negligent I would strongly advise against trusting this business with your vehicle.
