At the website, store # 876 is suppose to close at 8pm, I got there 7:16pm after driving about 10 miles to the location for them to tell me they cannot take any more cars because by the time they finish the 2 cars in front of me it will be almost 8pm. My question is why don't you put it on your website that you don't take any more care after 7pm so people don't have to waste their time and gas driving over there read more

Kevin the manager at this location is absolutely horrible. I'm not sure who hired him to manage this location but management needs to review that situation QUICKLY. Long time customer but never again. Very high pressure to move into a more expensive oil. Then, when presented with the bill, there was an extra $16 charge for the oil FILTER, which I was told is no longer included in the posted oil change prices. Also pressured to buy a new air filter, even though my existing one was quite clean and only had a few thousand miles on it. So disappointed. Will never use them again. read more

Went to take five oil change on Preston number 59 yesterday and was told that the oil filter was not included in my oil change. They didn't tell me this until I was ready to pay and pull Absolutely never go back to take five oil change, especially the one in Dallas #59 when I went back and talked to the manager and questioned them, she informed me that not only was the filter not included but they put the wrong oil in my car. I think they need to rename the store take five add $50 read more

Have been using Take 5 for sometime and almost have always had a good experience. This time it was no different either. I will say this location can get busy, and even when fully staffed, have you waiting longer than usual. The only other drawback is their prices in my opinion. I'm fortunate that I do ride-share here and there so I get a discount, but without it, I feel like I'd be paying more than I'd usually want to for a simple oil change. They do throw in additional services like checking/filling your tires to the appropriate levels and topping you off if you ever come back within the time it takes for the oil to be changed again. The staff here is always friendly and professional as well. Overall, definitely recommend, just be aware it can get pricy. read more

I do not recommend this location at all. They have nobody who is accountable for their service or for issues. I had to visit 4 times before I could have an emissions test done because first time "their inspection guy was out today", next time "we are out of paper" (yes, literally), then third time they ran the test and my car passed but when I got home I noticed they wrote the wrong year on the report. I had to go back a few days later and requested the change. I was driving a different car but had a photo of the wrong report. They looked it up and said, we need to run the test again so you need to bring the car in. I asked for a manager and was told "he is on vacation". I asked for his email address and they said no. "His name is Elias, that's all we can tell you". I said, I really hate to skip over him and go to anyone higher, and the young man respectfully said, "ma'am you are free to do what you want". I came back with the actual car later that day and they said a picture of the wrong form won't do, even though earlier they had acted like that was fine. "You need to go get the actual report form". So I went to get it and came back, and when I returned, I then proceeded to wait in line 20 minutes for the test although they saw me there. 5 minutes? Yeah right! Even knowing that I had to go home and come back did not seem to have any effect on them, neither rushing nor apologizing. Seems like they simply don't care since they must always have plenty of business. read more

If I could give 10 stars today I would. I went for an oil change and safety inspection. What I got was an employee named Booker who helped me ensure my car had the maintenance it needed to keep it running well. I didn't intentionally neglect the maintenance items - I just don't alway know what needs to be done. He took the time to explain everything and even helped me make a list of what milage to perform each of maintenance items next. Booker isn't just going through the motions of doing his job. He clearly has a passion for his work and has outstanding people skills that made me feel like he truly cared about the services he was providing. I would also like to thank Jose, who did my safety inspection. He found one issue that had to be resolved for my car to pass. He advised me where I could get it done quickly so I could come right back and pass the inspection. It worked out great. read more

As I sat in line, the guy told me he would be right with me and then 25 minutes later let another carpool in and started working on that car instead. The first time I went there I had a great experience because of a particular person that works there. I left a great review. Every time I have tried to go since you cannot get through to the local office even when you called their number directly and the people on their call center center, cannot help you and you sit on hold eternally with horribly annoying music and then they swear to you they can help you when they can't because they don't know anything about the local branch or who is working there? I literally cannot call the local branch and get information so I'm done with this business. I have gone there too many times where the person who does inspections gone for the day or did not come in that day. I've also gone there for oil changes where the only person available was a kid that was. And I did not trust to drive my car alone. read more

My mom got an oil change from here before we drove to Georgia and they put in the wrong oil so during the entire trip, her car is shaking like crazy. She has a Lexus and paid 100+ dollars for her car to be messed up. Very annoying and she needs her money back since she had to get ANOTHER oil change and spend even more money to drain out the oil they put in. This costed us an hour of our time we could've spent driving back home. Y'all need to make sure that the oil you're putting in cars is the correct oil needed because she specifically asked for a full Synthetic premium oil and they gave her something completely different. She has been stressed and very upset about it because this is her favorite car she's gotten. I'm pissed because the man swore it was the right oil and that the tire light would go off and just like the incorrect oil messed up her car, the low tire pressure light never went off even though he "reset" it. Slowest line of my life when it comes to an oil change/inspection. "Faster that you can say 'swish'" is the biggest joke of all. When I pulled up for an inspection, the guy told me it takes 5-10 min each car. I'm writing this as I'm sitting in line - it's been over an hour and still have 3 cars ahead of me. Recently went to Take 5 Oil #0393 and came out dissatisfied. I felt the oil change was overpriced especially when I was not asked if I wanted my tire pressure checked and they didn't even offer or top off my windshield water container. I will accept they were busy but I only received a small water and basic oil change for $118.00. I will not return. I have boycotted Jiffy Lube for years because of their poor service so I guess I will looking for another oil change service now. read more

Incompetent is an understatement. Got home after being lied to that everything was fine after I could tell it wasn't going well, with a bolt sticking out about an inch and a half. After taking it off myself to see the mounting point was stripped. I took it back up to the location and was treated like it was my fault that the bolt wouldn't go back in and that returning something to its original state was an inconceivable task. The tech was nice enough to offer to make it worse for me in stripping it all the way, I though that was a special gesture. Took about 5 days to get in touch with the manager after multiple calls to cooperate and the location to come up with a solution on the repair.
