STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!…read more Absolutely horrible experience at this Valvoline oil change location. I arrived around 10:30am 07/09/25 for a state inspection. The tech asked for payment up front. He charged my credit card $18.50. After several minutes he then takes a screw driver and yanks off my gas cap. He then states my gas cap will not fit their device for inspection. I asked for a refund and he said I would have to pay again. I asked for the manager who said he would issue me a refund. I then asked the manager to check and make sure his employee returned my gas cap to the way it was before he yanked it off. The manager then said it was broken and he couldn't fix it. I told him I wasn't exiting the stall until he repaired it. He said he would have to get the part and to give him 3 hours and he would come to my house and repair my gas cap. After several calls to the store and the corporate office my gas cap is still not repaired.

I drive from rockwall to come to this place every time my vehicles are due for service. If that says anything, I've watched ppl come in as customers and leave happy cause their vehicles were cared for properly and I've watched people come here in nice vehicles and have a laundry list of maintenance needed only to turn down the service and leave with just an oil change. Ps it cost money to keep your car running good and maintenance updated! I definitely recommend them to everyone I know

This place is Horrible. I 100% do not recommend. Everyone is rude. I went for an inspection and…read morethey was doing a lot of unusual shady stuff that has never been done before. I have a SRT AND The main thing was one of the mechanics joy riding in my car around the parking lot. Punching on the gas and then slamming on brakes. I asked the boss why is he playing in my car and then he just brushed it off. He did all of this playing around in my car and then comes back and say i can't have an inspection sticker because my front windshield has tint. This is very untrue considering i purchased this car factory from the legitimate dodge dealership and have not changed anything. My thing is what was the point of driving and speeding my car through there parking lot if you "claim" the car has tint. That should have been the end right there verses taking my SRT for a test drive. It was unclean, unsanitary, and nowhere to even sit. Workers were lazy and all sitting in cars in the parking lot when i pulled up. No clear communication. And for some reason they kept trying to get me to walk away from my car and watching me like they was trying to steal something and i could tell that they were getting frustrated because i wouldn't leave eyes view. Completely un trustworthy.

I was specifically charged separately for an oil filter, which was surprising because at many other places, the oil filter is included as part of the standard oil change service. I understand that businesses have different pricing structures, but the additional charges should be clearly explained upfront, especially when they are for something customers may reasonably expect to be included. I also felt like there was an attempt to upsell me on things I didn't need. I would recommend asking for a detailed breakdown of everything you're being charged for before agreeing to the service. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I won't be returning.

I ended up waiting an hour just to get my car moved from its original parking space and I'm currently still waiting. What is the purpose of an appointment if my car is not going to be seen nowhere near that time? Just ridiculous. Don't go here if you value your time at all.
