They take 45mins to an hour for 1 oil change. Should change name to "Take 1hr" absolutely the worst

My vehicle was destroyed! On 7/24/2024 at approximately 1 pm, I took my 2018 F-150 in for a standard oil change. I have been getting maintenance from Take 5 for years now. I trusted them. The day of my oil change, I was told to run my engine by the attendant. As I revved my engine, after being told to, my vehicle registered an engine low oil pressure alert. I let the attendant know what I saw and he said that they were working to fix it. After the oil change was complete and I drove out of the maintenance bay, my vehicle started stuttering and making noises I have never heard before. I thought it might have been the new engine coolant they put into it but I did not know. Later that day, my vehicle died in the middle of the road. I was towed by a neighbor to my home. The following day I filed a claim with Take 5's Fleet Response and they took my vehicle to Canton Ford. I asked for video of my vehicle being serviced, but the Take 5 manager said that their cameras were not working from July 19th to July 24th. A whole month later, my claim was denied. Canton Ford believed the Take 5 attendant told me to run my engine, without any oil in it, and this is what caused my truck to register an engine low oil pressure alert. Canton Ford also wrote that my vehicle had 2 extra quarts of oil in it! Canton Ford believed that the Take 5 attendants quickly rushed to put oil in my vehicle, after they had me run my engine without any oil in it, which is why my vehicle was 2 quarts of oil over! Canton Ford also provided me with documents showing that my vehicle registered an engine low oil pressure at 1:04pm and I have a receipt showing that my "service" was complete at 1:06pm. Canton Ford also provided me with a calendar showing that my vehicle registered no other engine related codes until the day of my "service." I will provide a couple of screenshots to support what I am saying. I strongly recommend to not do business with Take 5. read more

I got my oil changed here this morning and had the best experience. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I had an oil change, but Keanu and Cody took great car of my car. Keanu changed my air filter and cabin air filter (both much needed because I have never replaced them since I got the car) Cody changed out the oil and checked the other levels. I wish I would have gotten the other man's name, but he checked my tires and they were actually inflated to 50 psi and needed to only be at 38, so he changed that. I really liked the fact that I sat in my car while they did it, I know it may seem pricey there ($80 something bucks for an oil change) but it was worth it. I'll definitely be back next time. First, they tried telling me I didn't need an oil change yet. It had been 6 months since the last oil change I had. Second, they tried convincing me I needed new wiper blades. I just replaced the blades myself and still had the packaging on the back seat of my truck. Even after pointing this out, the tech still tried selling me new wiper blades. Also, a simple oil change with Mobil 1 was $163. Last time I had filters changed as well and I paid over $200. Why is it so expensive at this place? NEVER again. I miss Mr. Ds. read more

I had an oil change and coolant flush done here today. The entire staff was polite and professional! They gave us bottles of water while we waited for the service to be done. Carlos even pointed out an air filter I've never been asked to replace and didn't know existed. Needless to say, this filter was in dire need of a replacement after 6 years. BEWARE!!!! I had the worst experience with an oil change at this location. First off, they dropped a screw in the engine area that was removed from the air filter box and never replaced it. They spilt oil on my engine cover and half way cleaned it up. Got oil everywhere. The undercarriage engine cover (skid plate) that has to be remove to access the oil pan was missing 2 bolts and not secured. It has 4 bolts that hold it in place under another plastic part. I was told they were having trouble with it and that's why it was taking so long. When I arrived home I decided to look everything over. I found my sto-and- sho plate holder hanging by one screw (2 missing). The skid plate engine/ oil pan cover under the car was out of place and moving around due to missing bolts. I had to jack my car up and spend an hour figuring out how to re-align the covers they had taken off to change the oil. I secured it by placing bolts diagonally across it until I can get new mopar bolts for it. They had bolted only the back two bolts in and the front side was just tucked up under another plastic piece. I feel like they just gave up trying to put it back on the right way and decided to tuck under the front piece and keep alomy bolts - all together my car is missing 5 bolts/screws due to their incompetent negligence. I tried calling the number listed to let the manager know but was never able to be connected to the store. I kept getting an automated service. When I spend $160 on a premium synthetic oil change, I expect better than this. read more

I waited just over an hour before even getting into a bay. There were two cars ahead of me when I got there so I knew it might be a few minutes, but one hour and fourteen minutes from the time I got in line until pulling out of the bay is crazy. All for an oil change that used to be $60 but today was $94. Not a good use of my time or my money. read more

Was trying to get inspection and the guy tells me I have a light out and to come back tomorrow I go to gas station next store and ask a customer to see if my light was out. He said no I was like what the hell I go back right away and the employee tells me he already left and didn't know why he said that. Come on man it wouldn't have took long talk about bad customer service. read more
