He told me that he should be able to get to it within 2 or 3 days. I called every few days (not every day because I didn't want to pressure him) to see if there was any progress made. He kept telling me that he had become swamped and he would try to get to it that day or the next. Two weeks of being told the same thing for a job that takes a very short amount of time, I called and asked if he had worked on it. He said that he had started on it and that he was going to try to finish it this evening. I told him that I had found another place that could do it while I wait and I would be by to pick it up. I asked if I owed anything for the work he had done on it. He said, "No ma'am, but don't ever bring it back." After he lied to me for 2 weeks and then treated me like that, he doesn't have to worry about me bringing anything to him, ever again.

My experience is below, but if you're just scanning reviews to find out whether or not to do business with this place...Stop now and just head up there. I walked in with a rather unorthodox request. I was greeted by Travis (the owner) with a smile and a handshake. See, I had taken it upon myself to attempt to replace the alternator on my '05 Volvo XC90 V8. Big mistake on my part. After messing with it for 14 hours in total I had a non-mobile vehicle and a half finished alternator job. I asked if someone from the shop would mind coming out to my house to take a look at my vehicle in person and give me an estimate on what it would cost to fix. Of course this is not a typical service that they offer. But Travis with his kind heart came out after he closed that to my place and checked out the situation. He gave the best advice he could on his part with a general ballpark figure. He advised up front that he doesn't typically work on Volvo's, but he was pretty sure he could get the job done. I dropped off my vehicle at his shop while he was closed over the weekend. Thinking that it would be ready sometime the following week. To my surprise, I got a call at 2:30pm Monday afternoon letting me know that it was ready to be picked up. After all my errands for the day it wasn't until 5:30pm that I was able to reach back out to him about coming to pick up the Volvo. He had just walked in the door of his house after closing up his shop for the day. Going above and beyond again, he kindly offered to meet me back up at his shop right then so I could pay him and pick up the key. What he charged was MORE then fair for all the work I gave him. It was a big challenging job on a vehicle they were unfamiliar with and they handled it beautifully. I won't be taking any of my vehicles anywhere else for service from here on! Thanks guys!

My dad has his PT Cruiser serviced here too. They also do state inspections. The garage is a two-man operation. They have an assortment of modern technologies to diagnose and repair modern cars, as well as an intimate knowledge of classic autos. The Golden Garage has two large bays and has ample parking in the grass outside.
