I had a simple fuse issue or something very small in my 2022 Tahoe asked if I can be put on the list for service and since I live across the street I will bring it over whenever you can get to it service center told me that they would have to keep it for a week before they can get to it. Absolutely ludicrous system. Also had no loaner cars. So basically if you buy a car from them and anything happens you will have to quit your job for a week while it sits on the lot and they don't even do anything to it. read more

I wish I had never purchased a car from here! I have been trying to get my 2nd remote, rightfully so, for the car I bought, for a year now! Someone is always going to "call me back" and that never happens... now I have a check engine light on and it will be out of warranty before I get that fixed, I'm sure! I have a 100% credit history with Dow autoplex. For some reason Kathy the lady that takes the payments is suffering from a serious condition that every single month she tries to torment me in any way possible to cause some type of issue with my car. She constantly track my every move. Inquired where I work, which clearly is NONE OF HER BUSINESS TO ASK! Kathy stated, due to the constant movement of the vehicle. Honestly, Unless you're desperate to rebuild credit this would be the only reason I would choose this place. Dow isn't the place to buy with. I personally believe they prey on people during Tax Season. Get a huge down payment, make money off the vehicles for a few months then resale them for the same down payment and price. Repo the vehicle after a missed payment arrangement, then resale then during the next Tax Season. At the same price, or greater. Had the tow truck at my moms house when my car payment wasn't even behind 30 days. Due to situations out of my hands. Which I explained to Kathy, even sent in documents. I thank GOD I DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE MY MONEY THE EVIL WAY. I had to pay 2 months in order to not allow them to repossess my vehicle. Was told I could come back to get it once I made the other payment if I couldn't pay both payments. Which was actually came due that day. Ive never gone outside of grace period. Which this time due to the snow and death of loved one. Work was limited. Which Dow claims no grace. With 100% payment history why would you have someone's car repossessed? Unless this is a fraudulent company. Looking for ways to rob the poor to keep money in their pockets! not go here! Do not! Just a temporary fix! Just pay a higher down payment and go to a REAL DEALERSHIP! Not even worth the stress or hassle of having some bored old lady eating snacks behind her desk, being weird, tracking your ever move. I believe Kathy chose the wrong field of study. Would make a great private investigator. Then after I agree to pay the 2 payments tries to add 200 more for tow truck coming out. When that didn't work. Turned my car switch to run my battery down later that day. Which was strange due to my vehicle never shutting off. Thank GOD for AAA and roadside. Make sure if you buy here, definitely have one or the other! Hope this helps someone before purchasing if in need of a vehicle! Then what's worse the guy had some insurance lady at my mom's house, to try and block me in. As if I was going to try and get away in the car. Literally have way to much going for myself. Neither is the vehicle worth that, neither my livelihood Worth jeopardizing. I had the money. Just hadn't had the opportunity to go deposit it. Immediately pulled up on me. I had to beg them to give me the opportunity to add money to my account to pay it. The guy was very rude. Taking hideous pictures and coughing all over me. Had to send my elderly mother out to deposit the money since they wouldn't give me the opportunity to do so while the tow guy and insurance lady to see my mother blocked me in. Totally insane! Didn't want to have to post a bad review but If it helps one person then I don't feel bad about it. Walked in with our own financing, and picked out a nice 3/4 ton, all was good until we got into the financing office to sign paperwork. They were trying to get every penny they could at the back end of the loan.. they snuck a $3k warranty in without asking, and then threatened to not sell us the truck unless we purchased the warranty. He pestered us to use their financing options but we declined due to a good interest rate at our own bank but wouldn't let up & continued to criticize us about our decision and asking us what our rate was and our credit scores which wasn't relevant to the sale because we already secured funding. The worst part about the whole deal I didn't find out until I left, but they tried to sneak in gap insurance for another THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Our bank got us gap for $500... these guys are absolute crooks.. looking to take advantage of people who don't know any better. I wish I could have recorded what was said in the financing office, it was unbelievable. We posted a review and decided to delete it earlier and when we went back into the dealership the finance manager confronted us This was just my experience, I've never wrote a review this finance guy was just that bad that it pushed me to do it. we walked away with the truck without the warranty or their expensive gap so we are happy... just be careful with these guys. read more

ok, I'm here to update my experience. The seat in the Hummer was repaired beautifully and I have to admit now that the a/c is working and a few quirks worked out... Absolute worst experience buying a vehicle I've EVER had and as a repeat customer no less. Walked in with a perfect 800 score, sizeable down payment, and my own financing... had a new Canyon picked out from their online inventory, everything was ok until I got into the financing office to sign paperwork. My bank required a purchase order to be sent over from the dealer as confirmation of the intended sale, the finance manager flat out REFUSED. They attempted to bully me into using their financing and after politely declining due to the rate difference, they ultimately told me they would not sell me the vehicle without using theirs. They tried to get every penny adding on a 2k warranty & only reluctantly took it off at request after trying to say it was "too late because he had already clicked go". I was passed between 2 different sales reps, was there a total of 4 hours WITH my young grandkids having to patiently wait, just to ultimately be told they would NOT sell me the vehicle because I was "a refinance risk". These guys are absolute crooks... looking to take advantage of people who don't know any better. I also wish I could have recorded what was said in the financing office, it was absolutely unbelievable trying to pass it off that "they would not be making anything off me" because I had no trade in, would not buy the warranty, and was possibly going to turn around and refinance through my own bank. Shadiest dealers I've ever encountered, Ted in particular because all these decisions were directly his call and I dealt with him majority of the time. In the end I walked away with NO truck, 4 hours wasted, and a stress headache. Seeing green is not saving green, seeing green is seeing red. I was there today for a airbag recall . The service team was great as always. I was needing to go to the restroom and asked the lady at the reception desk where it was and she pointed down on the right. I went in and it was filthy and not where I could use it . So I told the same lady the restroom was nasty and I couldn't use it. She said " we don't take care of that , our cleaning people only come Mon We'd. Fri. I asked well do you have a manager I can tell and she said he is off today but we've told him before. I left her there because she did nothing no care or ownership in the business or customer. I told the service guy when he brought me my truck. I was really surprised . I have run multi million business for over 45 years and the customer had always been the primary focus by all employees to be successful. Your service team made me fill like a valued customer but the receptionist took that away by her lack of care and concern. If you retain her maybe she could check the restrooms hourly and sign off that they meet expectations. You will probably have to train her on that if she cares . read more

Neither one were pushy and both took there time to make sure everything was done correctly and that I understood what they were doing from beginning to end of the sales process.I went two 2 other dealers in Tyler and neither one of them were able to accomplish what DOW was able to do. I have not bought a car from a dealership in years because the thought of having to deal with salesmen, pressure to buy and frustration have led me to purchase cars in a myriad of different ways. I emailed Dow Autoplex in Mineola about Oct. 29, 2014 and received a response from Mr. Zack Carver within a couple of hours. I went to the dealership the next day and met Mr. Carver and laid out my financial situation, the monthly payment amount I wanted, what vehicle I wanted in terms of a sedan, suv, etc. (I wanted a Sedan) and what I was looking for in a vehicle- safety and great gas mileage. Mr. Carver treated me with the utmost respect and explained how the process worked, what my options were and what vehicles I would be able to afford, according to my terms. While he processed my financial information, Mr. Troy Turner was deemed my salesman and let me drive for a test drive. He was respectful, helpful, personable and made me feel like he was truly interested in making sure I got the right car for me and my family. The finance manager then took me back where he explained my loan, payments and every paper he gave me to sign. I knew exactly what I was signing and was not rushed when I read over the documents. My overall experience at DOW Autoplex in Mineola was overwhelming amazing. I walked out with a 2013 Chrysler, rated high in safety and gas mileage and within my payment range. I will recommend everyone to DOW. In this day, it's hard to find car dealerships that truly have their customers' needs and wants at heart. Anyone walking into the DOW Autoplex will know they've chosen the right people to handle such an important decision. I am beyond happy with my friends experience at DOW Autoplex. I recently took my vehicle for an oil change and when I went to pick up the car I thought oil changes were free for a year which was a misunderstanding on my part but instead of explaining to me I was only to receive 4 free the lady checking me out was rude & obnoxious and just repeated that I owed $47 dollars which I did not have a problem paying but a friendly explanation would've been appreciated. I will no longer use Dow for vehicle maintaince. There's no room for rudeness in a world full of car dealerships that will not treat me rudely & will appreciate my business. The only good part of this experience was the detail & wash that was done on my vehicle was exceptional. The employees in the service department & detail were very friendly & helpful but beware of the rude lady you have to deal with when picking up your vehicle. read more
