He kept going on liability about spilling oil liability. So, we left took it to different location got second opinion. What a big liar this employee never returning there, no dripping oil, just wanted to rip us off for $444. I was there on 1/17/26 and it was very cold…read more I'd like to start with the fact that I live in CA and the car I brought in was not mine and I travel back and forth assisting an elderly person who has no one in Texas. I researched many places prior to locating this business and bring a female myself, when I saw the name Marisol, in so many reviews, I decided to drive an extra 5 miles passing up many business to reach this place. It was an extremely cold day as well. The parking is tricky and if you park, make sure you communicate your place in line. Others stay in their cars in a makeshift line, so make sure whoever is conducting the inspections your spot. I chose to park because I didn't want to block the persons car from having the ability to back out, who was getting the inspection. Well my inspector was a person named Grace. She said that I could sit in my car to stay warm, but I elected to sit in the cold garage by a space heater so she wouldn't have to come find me when it was my turn. I enjoyed watching her and how effective she was and the way she communicated with others during their servicing. I learned a few things. Grace was detailed with explaining things to me. I knew there was a $2 charge when using a card due to my research. However, she informed me of the places nearby in grocery stores that I could stop out to obtain a sticker. She noticed that I had the registration paperwork. I had no clue. She made my day much easier!!! I looked up the official locations and was dreading getting into those lines. I more than recommend this establishment. Ignore the reviews about a used car lot. When pulling up, my brain assumed it was a business next door who took up space. I kept them in mind thinking that I'd research them too, to see if they are a different type of car service.

I headed over on a weekday after work (no appointment). The inspection was able to be done immediately, no waiting required. The staff member helping me was super friendly and efficient. There are plenty of chairs inside the garage to sit on while they do the inspection, while you watch. By the time she was done, the "pass" information was already sent electronically to the state. I was able to successfully renew my registration online later the same day. They accept credit cards. My texted receipt link came through in Spanish, but that's not a problem for me in any way. I would return here for my next inspection. Just don't forget to bring your proof of auto insurance because they need that information before they begin testing!

I already had it tested last year and it passed so I don't know how these people decided that it was too dark. I suppose it's possible that the last company made a mistake, and it is such a small percentage of difference that it's almost unbelievable that they would fail me for it. So good for you that you followed the rule to the percentage, I definitely won't use you again.
