I think one of the highest compliments a father can give is saving a car place/inspection place for his daughter :) About a year ago my dad came to this place, loved it so much that he left a review, which he rarely does, and reminded me to go here when I was having car issues just this week. I came here and I understood what he meant, this place is warm, homey and welcoming. And they are good people. I wish more places were like this in terms of atmosphere, service and warmth So just as my dad said in his Google review, I would like to second, "I wouldn't go any place else !! read more

Quick and easy state inspection. Walked in and they took care of my car right away. Very friendly.

Saady and his team are AMAZING! They are fast, friendly and very fairly priced. Saady has a great sense of humor and never tries to up-sale on any services. He let's us know what needs to be done besides tge inspection but isn't pushy! Definitely 10/10! read more

Tried on recommendations from here on Yelp. Found the gentleman were respectful, efficient, and friendly. Will be returning!

I go out of my way to go here. They are fast and very friendly people. Solid customer service.

Fast, and efficient!! Called this morning at 8 to make an appointment for my inspection. Walked in around 11am and I was out by 11:17am. Not only did I get my vehicle inspection, but I also got my windshield wiper fluid, and coolant filled for $15 extra. I am really impressed with the service and how sweet everyone was. I will definitely be back and I have already told my office that they need to bring their cars in. read more

I've been coming here every year for my state inspection and have always been more than satisfied. As a young female, I'm always cautious about where I take my car, since some places can be less than honest--but I've never felt that way here. The team is professional, kind, quick, and efficient. Last year, I made the mistake of trying a place closer to home, and I ended up leaving to come back here. Lesson learned--never making that mistake again! Highly recommend. read more

For ten plus years this is my go to place for state inspections. Fast, friendly and close to home. Reasonably priced too.

Listen. When they say QUIX they mean QUICK lol I was looking for a place in the area I could pop into to get my inspection done. This location had pretty good reviews about both their state inspection service and other car repair/service. I decided to use my lunch break to stop in and they literally had me back home in like 20 minutes. I didn't even have time to sit down in the waiting area good before they were calling me up to pay and get out lol Definitely recommend for a quick stop in for your inspection! read more

Comfy waiting area, very kind, super fast! Will definitely be coming back- just make sure you bring your insurance.

Quix State Inspection - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I recently moved from Oklahoma where getting your car registration is easy and fast. I was a little taken aback by Texas regulation about doing an inspection first. I went to this place to get my inspection done because it had good reviews but regretted going. The manager was an upbeat happy person with a friendly personality but the service guy had a nasty attitude. I have no idea how inspections work or what I was supposed to do so I am waiting in the lobby for the service guy to do his thing. He comes back to the lobby and tells me "I don't have all day. Come here" I let it go but I already disliked him at that point. Then he said that my blinker light was not working and that he can change it for me for $60. I thanked him and told him I can do it myself. He got pissed off and said "why did you come here then?" I told him I just wanted an inspection, nothing else and if he cannot continue with the inspection because of the blinker then I will get going. Naively... I asked if he believe there was anything else I should fix before taking my car for a complete inspection and he said "I don't know. That's the first safety issue and I cannot move with the inspection because that blinker is not working" I took my keys and left. I am lost when it comes to the requirements for a car to pass an inspection and this guy was not about to help me figure it out. read more

This place is a gem! We have been bringing all our family cars/trucks here for years! We know we can always depend on fast, efficient and friendly service! So convenient and always a great experience. read more

This is the only place I've been to for an inspection since moving to Texas 3 years ago and I will never go anywhere else for it. They are extremely friendly, professional, and FAST! The first year I had to renew my inspection/registration in Texas I was really confused; it's a completely different process in the state I'm from. They took the time to nicely explain the steps in getting my registration once my inspection was done. They also don't try and push unnecessary add-ons like other places do! Highly recommend. read more

Don't bring your old car here for inspection! I came here b/c the Skillman place's machine was down. The guy had me drive my car in, sit and wait while they did the computer stuff, and then told me to back the car out. Even though it was only a safety inspection, they didn't look at anything other than the VIN and mileage. Then they said it was a waste of their time doing such inspection. But I did overhear them steering a young lady next door for an overpriced oil change. read more

This is my 2nd time having my car inspected at this location, just make sure you have your insurance policy ready to speed things up. Inspection was done for $25.50 They checked my antifreeze/coolant and showed me how low it was and offered to add coolant for an additional $10 & also pointed out my wind shield wipers weren't in the best condition and offered to replace them for an additional $18 Final cost for everything was $53.50 All done in about 15 minutes professional and efficient. Thanks guys great customer service ! read more
