After a less-than-stellar experience by one of the more local, yet highly visible oil change places in the area, I was none too keen to get my oil changed by them again. Lo and behold, there was a Valvoline nearby, which I had used years ago while living in another state. When I pulled in, there were large flags indicating discounts for LSU faculty and staff (woohoo - a win I wasn't expecting - about 20% off!) and the folks there directed me to pull around into one of the bays. I was there only one there around 9am on a Friday. Brad, Dontae, and Elliot were so friendly and fast at getting my oil changed - took maybe about 20 minutes when all was said and done (including changing out my engine air filter and resetting my dashboard inspection indicator, which is always a hassle - thanks VW for that!). I will definitely be going back when I'm due for my next oil change!

Even with vehicles constantly coming in and out, it spoke volumes about the excellent service at this location. The wait time was very short and efficient. Mr. Jake was also very polite and professional. He greeted me with a smile and suggested the oil and fuel cleaner service. He patiently answered every question I had and made sure I understood the benefits before I agreed to the service. Mr. Cade and Mr. Junior,changed my oil and oil, A.C.,Fuel filters, and they both worked with professionalism and care. The inspection sticker process is the easiest and fastest I've been to (because what place is actually going to have an ideal wait time for this). The line can get long, but if you catch it at the right time, you'll have 1-2 cars in front of you max and wait maybe 10-15 minutes. If there are more than 4-5 cars in line, just come back later - it fluctuates! The actual inspection sticker process is quick and easy. You can pay cash or card and wait inside where there is a bathroom, or outside on the benches if it's a nice day - the attendant will come get you when the inspection is done (about 10 minutes). Easy and over! As for the car wash, I usually just go for the basic and use the complimentary self vacuum stations in the back. There is always a spot open, I've never had to wait for those! The vacuums are strong and can get out dog hair from your car, which is big for me. Definitely go to this Benny's if it's close!

He went to the Auto Store, picked up the battery and was in contact with me and my daughter and meet her at the apartment complex, drove up the the 7th floor of the parking garage and changed out the battery within the hour. He was in contact with me throughout the process and was very nice and professional with my daughter. I chose the interior and exterior cleaning. Since Covid, you now get to sit in your car for the cleaning and exit to have the interior done. It was remarkable. They even worked to get a food stain out the seat that a friend made when (poorly) carrying a casserole in his lap. Sure, there were a couple of spots from a dirt stain I had to brush off the outside, but it was great for the value. They will try to push you to sign up for a monthly subscription, but were respectful when i declined after a couple of times.

When all was done my bill was around $184. A bit more than I expected. Could have gotten most of this done for free at the dealership where I purchased my GMC Canyon, but did not want to get up early and wait for work to be done. Benny's was more convenient for me time wise. Plus I got a free car wash. Throughout the whole work they showed me the old filters before they installed new ones. Used high grade synthetic oil. Will use Benny's again, I also use their other location on Coursey for yearly car inspection.

I also told him I was recommended for a brake job 4 months prior from his technicians on the rear axle and we can schedule that for next time. 25 minutes later, he comes to tell me the coolant is fine, but he's worried about my wipers (which I just got changed 5 months prior) and my air filter. He also told me all of my brakes are fine, but he was worried about my front rotors and he could do a full front brake job right now. I said well I have to be to work in 20 minutes so I don't have time for the brake job right now. How much longer? he said well we have to do the oil change and put your tires back on. I was confused why it's been 25 minutes, I was the second car there and the oil change hasn't been done. So, I said ok to the air filter too, and thanked him for checking the brakes and coolant. Anyway, about 20 minutes later I'm paying for new wipers along with the oil change, tire rotation, and air filter. I didn't need wipers but I didnt have time to argue or say anything. so I paid and left. Fast forward a month later - my car is overheating. I open the hood and there's coolant all over my engine. So I bring it to Richard's Honda because I have a warranty thinking there is a leaky hose or busted radiator. NOPE! there's no radiator cap. WHAT?!??? so whoever checked the coolant at Grease Monkey didn't put the cap on correctly. And of course warranty doesn't cover things that are human error so it was $441 for them to fill the system with water, check for leaks, empty the water, refill with coolant, and replace the radiator cap. So, I call Grease Monkey and the store manager, Shelby is what he said his name is after 5 times calling, still hasn't called me back, emailed me back, or tried to do anything to reconcile the situation. I also found out from the dealership all of my brakes and rotors are perfectly fine. 1. They lied to me TWICE about needing brakes 2. replaced my wipers without my consent 3. took almost an hour to do an oil change and tire rotation 4. unprofessional and terrible customer service 5. Can't admit when something is their fault 6. Don't deserve anyone's money

I've been commuting a lot for work lately so I've had 3 tires changed here within the last few months. It's been a great experience every time. The first time I stopped in Allied, I'd busted a tire right before heading to work in Nola and had to get on the road ASAP! I was in a huge hurry and the owner was extremely accommodating. We chatted a bit about jazz music and he actually played a Herbie Hancock tune over the lobby speakers while I waited. That just about made my day. Last weekend I had an egg in my tire, but couldn't spend the money on a new one so I asked the guys at Allied to just take a look and tell me how bad it was. They showed me it was completely split down to the threads, and I definitely couldn't drive on it. Knowing I couldn't afford a new tire yet, they put a discarded tire in better shape on my car just so I could make it to work that weekend. For free. I was blown away by the gesture. The guys totally saved the day. I'm beyond grateful for awesome local businesses that still connect with their community. As Herbie would say, "just keep on doin' it!" :P

The employee who worked on my car was conveniently not employed there just a few days later, so there are no witnesses or cameras to corroborate their claims. Within a day, the crack spread to the point that it obstructed my line of sight and made the vehicle unsafe to drive. I was unable to drive my car to work and had to pay out of pocket for a mobile windshield replacement. Despite acknowledging that the damage happened on their property, they have refused to take responsibility or reimburse the cost. I'm disappointed in how this was handled and would not recommend this company based on this experience.

When I arrived it was 5:45pm and the care center doesn't close until 7pm and I called ahead of time and was told they stop taking cars at 6pm so I was there in plenty of time. I was told to go talk to the girl outside and see if I could catch her in time. When I reached her, she asked me why I waited so long to get my tires changed and how I should've been there earlier and just plain being rude. When we walked back into the shop, she told the mechanic she didn't know who was taking care of us because she certainly was not since we came in so close to "closing time". I told her I had a tire blow out and just needed two new ones. I explained to her that I wanted the new tire on the front and the old ones moved to the back and when she was reading everything back to me she read "you want the new tires installed on the back" and I told her no, I wanted the new ones on the front and she had a terrible attitude and told me thats what she said when she clearly didn't say that. She also told me the wrong prices on everything and told me I would be paying $180 for everything and it ended up being $250. If you apply for a customer service job you have to know how to talk to humans. Even if someone comes in close to the time you stop taking cars, not even the time you close, you have to learn how to suck it up and put a smile on your face. Went and told a manager about the situation and he said he would take of it and I hope he does because that is not how a business should treat their customers.

Upon arrival we were informed they did not have the oil that I selected online. Okay... so we settled for just full synthetic. Not even 30 minutes later, I get a notification that there's a problem and we need to return to the Auto Care center. This is when they inform us that they cannot do the oil change because the hood of the car is "broken". We know the hood is not broken. We explain that the 2015 Camrys have a hood latch that is manufactured differently than most and that we can open it or show them how to and they refuse. They say that it's broken so they can't perform any work on it. We exit the building because the car has already been pulled around and re-parked. It takes us 15 seconds to open the hood. Additionally, we couldn't ignore the strong smell of marijuana in the car. Overall, not a great experience. PLEASE do better!

Recently had a visit abt a month ago w/meineke to have my freon recharged…read more I returned as I needed a window regulator. Manager stayed in full communication with me abt the order. The regulator had been on order and it finally came in. Yippee! My window was fixed, and I was in and out in around an hour. The entire Meineke team is knowledgeable and professional.
