First and foremost, you cannot beat the service at any Take 5 location. They are top notch and always so quick and friendly! I also love how you can stay in your car while they do your services. They always offer you something to drink and ask how you're doing. They're super fast and very affordable. They run great specials and they do a great job letting you use coupons. They did not have the air filter I needed and they were able to order it for me and I went the next day and got it done! Fast and efficient! I would highly recommend anyone to use them for any general car services read more

I went got a oil change the first time. Great customer service however when I went the second time rates were higher and I was a returning customer. No incentive like car wash and with coupon it was higher than usual. read more

DO NOT USE TAKE 5. My wife always brought her car to a place where she would have to wait 30 minutes or so on an oil change and I told her she needed to try Take 5 they are supposed to be 10 minutes and you just sit in the car. We go to this Take 5 and there was a car in each of the 3 bays. Three people were working and we arrived at 9:31 am cars came after us and left after attendant went and talked to them. The car in front of us had a female in it the attendant seemed to enjoy upselling and flirting with. He leaned in her car chatting and laughing with for almost 10 minutes. We were pulled into a bay at 10:11 40 minutes after arriving. They begin working on one of the other cars that were in the bays when we pulled up. I had thought someone had left them but people were in them. They stood around trying to upsell the next car and taking pictures of each other when they did. They finally started my car and we pulled out of there at 10:51 am and $107.00 later. An hour and 20 minutes for a 10 minute oil change. Needless to say my wife's oil change establishment wins the business from now on. Better service and better price. Do not use take 5 read more

I've been to several "take 5 " establishments over the years and today was dissatisfied to a new level . First of all , they were not friendly in the least .... Even though I was the only customer, I was treated like I was a thorn in their side . They mumbled , and were soft spoken , I explained that I was hard of hearing , they still just mumbled .... Oil change is supposed to include a top off of all fluids , check the filters , tire pressures .... The only thing that I'm sure they did was put oil in the engine , never checked air filter , or tire pressures, never filled the wiper fluids , or even checked the radiator fluid overflow . It was THE WORST SERVICE ever. I will NEVER go back . read more

Vontrell and Jvon were amazing. I was in town to drop my daughter off at college when my oil light came on. When i took it in they found a leak from the oil plug. They told me where to buy the plug and were able to do an oil change within ten mins of me bringing the plug back. Amazing service and hospitality, if i lived here this would be my go to car spot!!!!! They also offered my daughter and I nice cold waters while they changed it, couldnt ask for better service! read more

Avoid and keep looking if you need a quick service oil change. Service is slow and they don't honor the coupons provided by their corporation. read more

Pathetic service! brought my Aura to Take 5 on Coursey Blvd in Baton Rouge. Months later time for new oil change by my mechanic only to find the oil plug has been changed and is stripped. Was not told anything about the change in the plug and the oil filter was dented in numerous places. I am now stranded with no working vehicle. Friend went and filled out a complaint since I have no transportation to the shop. Have called corporate office only to leave messages that have not been returned. Stay far away from this business unless you want problems with no solution from Take 5!!! My car is being towed at my expense to have repairs. read more

Not pleased with service again today. Have been using for several years and service seems to be declining. First of all no top off of fluids( never checked), tire pressure not checked, and to top it off return sticker for same type of oil twice as long as last time. Explanation, It wasn't me last time. read more

Literally such a great experience! I was in and out quickly, the staff explained everything super well and didn't make me feel like I was being pressured into purchasing unnecessary things. Everyone was friendly and attentive and gave me advice and answers to all my questions! I've never had a bad experience at any Take 5, but this location definitely is a great one and they have wonderful customer service ! Shoutout to them read more

I tend to be impatient when it comes to servicing my vehicle. I know it is necessary but I hate waiting for long or dropping my car off. This place has never let me down. The staff are friendly and professional. The service is fast and reliable. And the price is affordable. They also offer discounts frequently. Don't wait, get an oil change in a fraction of the time. read more

I've been to several locations, but this is the one I go to the most. My experiences have always been pleasant. The staff is excessively friendly, they tell you all your options, don't pressure you into anything particular. They've informed me of other services I might need based on their assessments, but don't make me feel forced into getting them. And maybe it's reverse psychology, but when they offer me additional products, they also mention that I might be able to get the product cheaper elsewhere, in which case I can buy it elsewhere and then bring it by to them and they'll take care of the labor (like windshield wipers, oil sludge cleaners, air conditioning filters). Their oil change includes checking all fluids, checking air in tires, washing the windshield, etc. They also offer you something to drink while you wait. And the website always has a coupon you can print out. It's worth it to me to just have someone be nice. That's so rare these days in customer service. read more

I went to Take 5 Oil Change today around noon, and even though every garage port was full it, didn't take long for me to be the next one in. Service here is exceptional. Beyond what any other company will ever do. They made sure I was informed on everything, and provided me with great hospitality. They even gave me complimentary air fresheners, and drinks and snacks while I waited. Pricing is even fair and they check everything for you. You also get complimentary top offs if you need it later on. What's else is there to love? I am more than pleased to take a little drive from LSU campus to always be treated well and for an exceptional job! My car is my lifeline, and these guys know that. I wouldn't trust any other group. read more

Great service and fast! I am traveling through Baton Rouge and needed my truck serviced. Just pulled in after like 15 minutes I was headed out. Thanks guys! read more

Terrible. After my oil change here my truck started leaking oil onto my driveway. I went back the next day to get it fixed and it still leaks oil. Now I will have to go to another mechanic to see what damage they caused. read more

I have been to Take 5 about 6-7 times and only had one experience where they didn't meet expectations. I went to another Oil place out of convenience and the next time when I went to Take 5 they told me my Oil plug was stripped and I would need to have my pan replaced. Of course I wasn't too happy and took it back to the other place but when they pulled it out, they showed me the plug and there was no problem, they said it was put on a little too tight and apologized. I can't really fault either company much in this situation but all my other experiences at Take 5 have been good. read more

Very friendly and professional service overall. Not cheap but you pay for the convenience, so make sure you bring a $10 off coupon! My oil change took 25 min but they comped me another $5 so I appreciated that. read more

Excellent service. Albert & Shane were my technicians. Even though my light was on, they ended up telling me that I did not need an oil change. They even added some oil & did not charge me. They were super polite, honest and informative. It's hard to find that these days. I will definitely come back here. read more

Very professional individuals and they seem to actually care about the work they are doing and the customers that come their to spend money. I suggest these guys get a bonus because I had the best service I have ever gotten at this franchise thus far. read more

Made getting my oil change way more exciting than you'd think possible. Everyone has positive attitudes and nothing but smiles!!! I was greeted immediately and quickly helped! They checked everything (including tire pressure), changed my oil, and washed my windshield in literally around 5 minutes!!! I'll be driving out of my way to continue coming here!!! Woohooo good job guyzzzzzz read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I didn't complain when the oil change service took a bit longer than anticipated. Nor did I put up a fuss about not even being offered the complimentary beverage. However, after I paid almost $100 for an oil change I was told the printer was down and therefore they couldn't provide me with an invoice for my records. I was told one would be either mailed or emailed to me. I followed up the following day, 1/26/21 and was told that the printer was down and they had been having internet issues but that it was now working and my invoice would be sent out. I never received it. I emailed again on 1/30/21 and was basically invited to go back to the shop to pick it up if I wanted it and "if it hasn't been emailed then it probably won't be". No explanation as to why just that "it won't be". When I expressed my extreme frustration in subsequent emails stating I would file a formal complaint I was told basically "I understand. Have a nice weekend." Basically my frustrations and concerns were dismissed. I will never use them again and plan to file a formal complaint with the corporate office Monday. read more

Leaving right now, frank and darryl did an amazing job! Very personable, and funny as well! They all complimented the new little tree smell I just opened (cherry blossom honey) and they got rid of a huge stink bug from under my hood. They were very quick with their work and to this day I have recommended take 5 on coursey for the last 6 years or so read more

Mr Darryl did a great job today with my oil...service with a smile..great attitude...very fast friendly and willing to help

I wish I could give zero stars, but that is not an option. After getting my oil changed, I noticed my drive way had puddles on it and so I began to check parking spots I parked at. That too was always left with mini puddles of oil. Finally, I brought it to my mechanic to check and when he pulled the dipstick out, it was completely bare. I've went here before and have had absolutely no problems. I called to ask for a refund and they then told me they would have to drive out to my home(no thanks) to take a look at it and fill up the oil, etc. I also couldn't drive it out there, obviously. Why on earth would I put my car back in the hands of the guys who didn't do their job to begin with? I ended up speaking to the manager and asking him if he was actually certified to be checking out anything with my car to begin with. He said he was not, but only certified in things having to do with an oil change. Only after sharing my story with my friend did I find out she had a very similar experience at Take 5. Thanks, but no thanks.. even if it is quick. read more
