[[HIGHLIGHT]]As everyone has previously stated this is just really the most stereotypically hipster coffee place and that's really saying something in eugene.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have the plants, they have the exposed beams/pipes, the vinyl display... honestly good for them because the coffee lives up to its interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Baristas are as equally relaxed as the space but really nice and very quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of counter seats to enjoy inside and a couple tables, it's not the biggest cafe but doesn't feel cramped either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got an iced sesame latte and my sister got an iced ube matcha, a little over 12 dollars for both felt like a great price especially because they were DELICIOUS. Could taste all the spices in my sesame latte but the coffee was strong too, I don't like when some places try to do a bit of a savory latte but this one had a bit of that vibe while being very creamy and nutty, not too sweet because of the smoky espresso. The ube drink was the most beautiful vibrant shade of purple I have ever seen in my life. Flavor was just as strong and I am very pleased in the execution of flavors that I usually only trust from Asian cafes. I will and must come again to try their seasonal drinks, trust.

They had a banana latte as part of their seasonal menu. It was literally the best latte ive ever had and I have had a lot of lattes in my day! Going back before I end my trip to pick up a bag of their beans as well! So delicious! The matcha was ok, the latte was the star.

We enjoyed it so much we tried their second location later in the day. The one near campus was trickier for parking and not the vibe for us, while the 5th Ave location was just what we were looking for. Both locations had friendly staff and a great menu. The Ube Matcha was pretty and delicious and smelled like fruity pebbles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a great collection of single origin coffees and a fun vibe inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

GREAT coffee in eugene! of all the coffee shops we tried on our weekend trip to eugene, Tailored was at the top of our list. our favorite drink we ordered was the iced vanilla oat milk latte, a classic but done so well at Tailored. they use house roasted beans and you can definitely taste the quality of the espresso. [[HIGHLIGHT]]service and staff were nothing noteworthy, but we appreciated the top-tier espresso and vibey interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It all felt welcoming and friendly, including the nice person who took care of my order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, I was only stopping for a few minutes before getting on the road, but it was a positive stop and the coffee was decent. I think if I stopped by again, I'd get a fancier drink and stay for a while to enjoy the full experience.

One of the best coffee shops in town. I love their drip coffee. It's a bit difficult to find really top-tier espresso around here but theirs is decent enough to enjoy as is, or in a milk drink. For all intents and purposes, their espresso can be improved upon by dialing in something with a bit more body to express some more flavor, something with a bit more crema indicating a healthy extraction, but as I say, it's decent espresso as is. I enjoy their oat milk here; it's really flavorful and toasty. I'd be interested to see what their almond milk is like. Also, absolutely delicious cookies. It looks and tastes just like my all-time favorite cookie recipe so I'm very very happy with that.

If you are looking for the best coffee in Eugene, you've found it. As far as specialty coffee roasters go, Tailored is as good as it gets in my opinion. The baristas are all super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and awesome. read more

Nice little spot to come and do some work for a while. I've mainly had the drip coffee, and it's been good each time. Their cold brew was just okay. I haven't had the pastries yet, but they seem to sell well. read more

I stopped by on my last day in town as it was recommended to me the day before I left! I was NOT disappointed! I ordered an Iced soy (maybe it was almond- I can't remember which non-dairy option they had!) matcha latte and avocado toast. The matcha latte was so good, refreshing and light. The avocado toast was just enough for a light breakfast to keep you going, though I also delighted in adding my own Sriracha hot sauce on top. Definitely worth the stop by- it's a cool little spot! read more

Cool looking place! I've had their latte and cappuccino, and both of them tasted very diluted, unfortunately. However, I got the Intro blend beans and enjoyed the coffee I made at home more than the coffees I got at the cafe. read more

Get the PB and Honey toast as it is amazing. The brioche is flawless! I also had the avocado toast and it was great but I prefer sweet over savory in the morning. Their coffee is an acquired taste for me as I like a dark, burnt coffee and this coffee has a very subtle flavor profile. It packs a good caffeine punch and that's important. It's a really nice space to read and get your morning started. read more

I was here on a Monday morning around 8:00 and there was one guy working. Poor guy was super busy taking order, payments, making food and drinks, he could barely keep up! The coffee itself was good, not great, but quicker service is necessary in the coffee business. read more

Quite a welcome coffee stop on our way back from Crater Lake. Located in a swanky shopping district in Eugene, Tailored fits right in with it's intimate space. I enjoyed the nods to famous rap and hip hop artists as they played in the background, had album covers on the wall, and posted a natural order of rap names in the bathroom. My Ethiopian espresso hit the spot as well. Flavor notes of Georgia sweet peach tea rang from my warm cup. They only had two single origins to offer, but if they are both this good that is no problem. My wife enjoyed her hot chocolate made with homemade ganache. I might have stolen a sip or two of that as well. Overall, friendly service and a relaxing but hip atmosphere for a bangin cup of coffee. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for some time and what better way to enjoy a great drink than when you're stressed about finals? I came here to work on school-related things and got a matcha latte with cashew/almond milk. It may have been the best matcha latte I've had. So creamy and smooth and definitely helped in the caffeine department. Only downside is they have few outlets for working. Had to move to another location because the only available plug was taken, and the other was too far for my cord to reach. But I'm not knocking off any stars for that because it's a coffee shop and they make their drinks right! read more

Very cute coffee shop! Latte was great and the PB toast was delicious, the bread they use is tasty. Be warned though that the toast is super small, maybe I got the smaller end piece of the bread but I was very underwhelmed with the size of toast for the cost of $5. read more

Rude customer service. Very so so coffee and they made my coffee for here and my food to go ?!?!??????? It's really not that hard. I asked for a slight variation on my Cappuccino and you would think I asked congress to pass a bill. Also, they Only carry sugar in the raw. Really. What are they trying to say? Caffeine is ok for you but you will sweeten it how we say you will. Give me a break. Pick a better platform. Not sure what the attraction is but clearly I missed it. read more

Second time here while driving thru town on my anniversary vacation. I really don't understand the hype..... If all it takes to be highly rated 8s a good Playlist or "hip" decor.... Then come to my house and pay me ridiculous prices for underwhelming coffee. I never once received or witnessed the amazing customer service people talk about. The 2x I've gone, I've never been welcomed in, asked how my day is, recommend drinks, or even responded to when I ask how their day is.... Ya know.... Regular customer service things. Hardly even a smirk smile my 2nd time in. I asked about the ALS drink and got "its just a latter with special milk"........ Okay well clearly you didn't read by my question that I've never ordered it or know their most popular drink, so I must be new. No recommendations. I tried to order a Breve and was told they don't carry half and half.... Only. Organic Whole. So I got an iced latte. Literally (yes literally) one of the worst iced coffee I've ever had. I just can't with this place... Its just like every shop in Portland. Stuck up on over hyped. But maybe I just caught them on bad days....... I'll never go back to find out. read more

A local favorite! Fantastic coffee. Some of the most unique flavors I've seen here locally. Unfortunately they do not package 1lb. bags, and their 10oz bags are $15, so they're a little expensive but they truly are worth every penny. Their bags are unique as well, matte black with a zipping closure! So fantastic. The shop itself is a small location with a minimal - sleek interior design, keeping with the industrial train station that the building is after. A great location - nestled right in the beautiful 5th Street Market area. I take any chance I get to go to Tailored. HIGHLY recommend. read more

One of my favorite coffee spots in Eugene for sure. Their homemade almond-cashew milk is exceptional, and although I don't usually order lattes because I don't like extra milk in my espresso, this milk makes me order a latte every time because it is just that good. The atmosphere is great and they are usually playing low key rap music which makes me not even want to put my own headphones in, which is rare for me in coffee shops. Noisette pastries are available here but I've also had their avocado toast which was delicious. read more

I almost want to give this place 3 stars, but they make one of the best almond milk chai I have ever had. Its actually almond/cashew milk blend that they have, and it is so dang creamy and delicious. Reasons why it would have received three stars are as follows... -no music. What is a coffee shop without coffee shop music? -it is full of lazy college students. Beware of these seat snatchers who will order after they sit and then leave without bussing their table. -noisy. No music and still loud. They roast and ground their own coffee beans so the machine might be going when you are there. Makes for a loud and unpleasant environment. -succulent abuse. Almost all of their succs are in desperate need of more soil and water. I appreciate the plant life, but dead plants aren't trendy. But again, really really good chai latte. Spicy, sweet, and creamy. read more

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Eugene. I ordered a large once vanilla latte that came out to be $5.25 which is a fair price. It was the best latte I've had in Eugene. The flavor wasn't too strong and the latte wasn't too sweet. The ratio of ingredients was just right. I ended up getting a second one it was so good. The shop itself has a very interesting vibe to it! There aren't many tables, but there is a bar style seating which worked perfectly for me. Might be hard to find a seat on a busy day but I think that's the same for any coffee shop around. They had fast WiFi too which was nice. If you're studying, I would suggest bringing headphones because they play great old school hip hop but it can be a little loud if you're trying to get in the zone. Also, maybe bring a jacket, I was a little chilly in a long sleeve but maybe that's just me. The service was fantastic, they even explained to me how the different roasts work and why they use certain types for certain drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the shop, the friendly customer service and an exceptionally delicious latte!! I seriously recommend checking this place out! Ps. Street parking is minimal so you'll probably want to park in a free lot right down the street and walk. read more

Nothing beats a clean cafe with great coffee, food, tons of seating and free WIFI. Tailored also has great music and friendly service. I was here for a bit so I did wish I had scoped out a coveted spot with an outlet nearby but all things considered, this is a pretty perfect spot to get work done, get come caffeine or just sit and get out of the cold/rain. It's right downtown and was just behind my hotel. Perfectly located for people just passing through, though it also seemed to be popular with locals. The chai tea is the best I've ever had and the latte was also excellent. Wish they had a Tailored in Seattle! read more

What a sweet new neighborhood addition! The small space stretches itself well with its minimalist aesthetic. I like how quiet, clean and reverential it feels- like a place of (low-key) worship for finely prepared coffee! Alas, I didn't order a coffee on my first visit- had, instead, a spicy, creamy and nutty chai latte with a housemade blend of almond/cashew milk. But it was so_memorably_delicious! My mouth waters just thinking about it. My acquaintance however, did TCR justice by ordering a Gibraltar (double shot of espresso with a bit of milk + foam art) which looked divine enough to try on my return visit. Oh, and ten million props for the selection of Noisette pastries and toast featuring different spreads. The"artisanal toast" trend drives me bonkers (get out of here, San Francisco!), but I love Noisette (and concurrently, TCR's support of a top-notch local business) so I guess I can let the avocado toast slide... it also helps that avocado toast is a hard thing to resist. Dope ass cafe! This is a new addition to Eugene and I love it. It reminds me a lot of Portland and to be honest, if I didn't know better and I just walked in, I'd think I was in Portland, somewhere on Alberta, hanging out with some friends instead of weird old Eugene. My parter and I ordered a matcha latte, which was pretty tasty! It was really rich and flavorful and I loved every sip of it. I would definitely recommend it. read more

Visiting Eugene this week and walked in while exploring downtown. This is really nice! The interior is very clean and modern/ kind of Industrial? As in not cluttered up,a basic bar, few wooden tables, and large open coffee bar and kitchen. My barista was also really nice, helpful and cool to talk to. Now onto the important stuff- caffeine! Basic espresso choices and drinks. I am most impressed the make almond/cashew milk in house. It reminds me of my favorite coffee shop in Houston. The macchiato is really good, I believe they roast their own coffee. Also, as I was typing this, the barista came to my table and brought me a glass of water, nice! Not many food options, a few pastries and toast with various toppings. One of those being peanut butter and honey! So really, macchiato and peanut butter- I'm all set, Gaby heaven! read more

Tried to keep going but the service is so off putting. Along with the atmosphere. First, the service is just so awkward. I'm not expecting over the top friendliness but I've never seen the baristas smile once, even to each other. I about their iced sizes and the guy silently just pointed towards the cups. The coffee is pretty okay, but nothing special. Nice prices at least. read more

Loved the ambience and overall vibe of this quaint cafe but I wished the background music was better. The latte was great although it could've been served piping hot instead of lukewarm-ish -- but that's a personal preference. The barista was really nice too, refilling our water cups for us; excited to try their coffee once they start roasting their beans. read more

This cutesie coffee shop is a place where you can bring a good book or your laptop and spend the afternoon sipping away on dark roasted coffee or fragrant herbal tea. They have a very straight forward menu to choose from and I adore the leather koozies that come on your mason jar cups of iced tea. Rather then a fast paced "Next!" type of feel, the employees here make your coffee with patience and attention to detail in order to give you a taste of what high quality coffee is and how it should be brewed properly. They have a small bar facing out the window if you enjoy people watching as well as more tables near outlets to keep your electronics charged up. Subtle things like a picture of Steve Martin will make you smile and the knowledgable staff can help you pick out a nice bag of coffee beans to take home if you wish. Don't hesitate to give this place a try because with winter on its way you'll want a place you can go to relax and warm up and this is a great cafe for exactly that. read more

One of the best coffee spots in town, and the best in the fifth street area. The coffee itself is great and staff is always friendly. They even gave out free drop coffee to customers on their fourth anniversary, how sweet of them! I prefer this place for meetings rather than work, but people do work and school work here as well. Seating is somewhat limited so get there early enough to find a spot! read more

Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

Full stop…read more It's not just the coffee, it's not just the vibe, it's not just the fab location...it's the whole package. Vero has taken that corner lot, in what is probably a turn-of-the-century house, and has created a phenomenal kaffehaus. It is built to enjoy some of the beautiful Oregon weather, and even withstand some of the rainy Eugene weather. The inside is generally sprinkled with students, seeking quiet moments of academic focus or other pursuits, and the outside is conversational and comfortable. Oh, and the coffee. I'm always one to try the house brew, and Vero is always ready with a freshly brewed cup. Their latte skills are pretty solid, and their espresso is strong and finishes nicely. I find the real hook to be that their coffee is far better than corporate Seattle, and costs significantly less. Sure, you pay a pretty hefty price for some of their breakfast or lunch fare (think $15/sammich), but their coffee is way competitive and their service is outstanding. I'm there for the coffee in the atmosphere; anything else is a pure bonus, and that includes the outstanding patio. Parking is on the street, because you're close to downtown, so you're on your own. But pretty much half of the patrons are either walking or riding a bike, so it's easy to handle. Pricing for the drinks is very fair, if not advantageous, and the value far outstrips what you pay, anyway. To me, Vero is as good as it gets for Eugene coffee, and there is no shortage of competition. Get out and enjoy!

It seemed to contain warm rice, tofu, avocado, cucumber, lettuce, cilantro, carrots and ginger dressing . The shell is a fried combo of seaweed and rice paper. The tamago and oshinko rolls were standard fare, tasty but nothing special. The restrooms were marked gender specific, but the women's room at least was a one seater with a locking door. For parking, I was told it is ok to park in the spots marked "reserved."

I really enjoy this coffee shop! Staff is friendly plus great breakfast/snack options. The coffee is delicious - I've ordered cortados and lattes here - as are their toasts. Staff was unfriendly and looked like I was bothering them asking for a cup. Coffee was sour. I had my friend taste it to make sure it wasn't me and she told me to go tell them that their milk had gone off. The milk wasn't spoiled it was just really poorly roasted.
