Came in for 3 brand new and expensive Sport Coats to get hemmed. One turned out fine but the other two had fabric damage to the sleeve areas that were hemmed. Not happy to have brand new jackets with the fabric damaged when I spent so much money. I have never had this happen anywhere else. read more

I've been taking my alterations items to Alina for a few years now, as I'm petite and pretty much most of my clothes need to be shortened either on pant legs or sleeves. Alina brings her A game to the business. I do not have any major crises to cite just mostly standard waist and seat altering for my shorts and trousers. I first "tested" Alina with some new purchase of hiking shorts that needed to be pulled in at the waist. As a runner, I have to buy a larger waist size to fit my seat size. I either have to cinch in my belt and have a bunched waist band or constantly tug at my waist to feel comfortable. Anyway, long story short, the three or four items were all fitted perfectly to my liking with a fair price and the agreed upon turnaround. The next time I brought some new trousers and shorts that I had purchased slightly large. I also brought in a couple trousers that just never fit right. Alina took care of everything, perfectly. Some other items she had done for us; mod on one of my wife's dresses, shortened a web belt and fixed a zipper on a down vest. Highly recommended! read more

I was able to put full trust in her to make sure my dress looked amazing and fit well, and she made a terrific lace-up for the back in place of the zipper which was absolutely perfect and added a bustle which was necessary for all the dancing I did at my reception. Beware! We took a suit and dress to have some minor alterations. We prepaid and were promised that they would be done the following Friday. We went in on that following Saturday and they still weren't ready. We were promised they would be ready for pick up on Monday after 2 (the shop closes @ 3). My wife and I both work during the week and couldn't pick up the items. . . I left work early on Friday to get the items and still nothing was ready. To top it off I asked to get the items so I could take them elsewhere but she had outsourced the work to someone else and didn't even have the items on site. When we finally got the items the suite was done, but not well -visible stitching on the sleeves and the dress looked like it hadn't been touched at all. No Refund, terrible service over a week late and we still had to take the dress elsewhere to get it done. Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for quality work or decent customer service. read more
