I won't be back. Been using them for 4 years and never had an issue until today. The lady made a mistake taking the measurement to shorten a pair of jeans (I brought her a sample- the same exactly pair of jeans already shortened, and she measured them, but I didn't check the number) and made them too short. I Went back to show her the mistake and she blame me. Not sure what I was expecting to happen (maybe refund the alteration charge and apologize,) since the jeans cannot be made longer, but definitely I was not expecting to be blamed for her mistake. After going here for 20 years, and bringing in a lot of business, the owners aren't like they used to be. I brought in a suit to be tailored and they don't tell you that they won't do the jacket. So don't take suits there any more. Also my pants weren't even all the way finished and all they wanted to talk about was that they don't do jackets. I have to find a new tailor. read more

I got my prom dress altered here and they were great! They took in the neckline and hemmed the dress. There was a lot of tulle that they had to deal with so I was very impressed with how fast they got it done. The dress was ready within a week and cost about $100. I don't know if that's affordable or not, but I was very impressed with the quality, speed, and kindness of the owners. read more

I've brought in several items because I am "vertically challenged." The prices were always reasonable and the turnaround time was less than a week. I brought in a few questionable pieces that I wanted altered but were very delicate and complex. The owners were open and honest that I should not have these pieces altered. I show horses and I have had a giant struggle finding a competition coat that fits well. I'm tall at 5'9", and I'm curvy but have a small waist. I finally ended up buying one that was far too big so that it was long enough and didn't pull across my chest, but it needed serious help to be flattering. Parker Tailor was convenient and other Yelpers gave it the thumbs up, so that's where I went for help. I'm glad I did as they did a fabulous job taking in the waist and shortening the arms a bit. They also changed out the buttons for me. The coat now fits beautifully. The couple who runs the shop are lovely people. I did deduct one star because I feel that they are a little pricey- I paid $110 for the work that was done. Additionally, it would have been nice if the jacket came back pressed for that kind of price. I admit that it had wrinkles when I brought it in (I ordered it mail order style and went strait to get it altered), but doing a steaming or an ironing so that the item looked top notch at pick up would be a nice touch. If I need alterations on anything in the future, I would absolutely come back here. read more

AMAZING! I could say it a million times and it wouldn't be enough!!! I purchased material to make my own curtains. After months of "trying to get to it", I decided to find someone to make them. I took the material into Parker Tailor, I asked her to hem the bottom and sides. I also BRIEFLY described that I planned to make strips at the top to tie to the rod. When I picked up the curtains I was AMAZED! She had taken the extra material and made beautiful ties at the top!!! They look wonderful, exactly what I wanted! I am so pleased with the outcome! This is a great place - Esther Lee, the owner, made alterations on my wedding dress. I called a few days before the due date to check in because the weather was going to be bad that week, and she actually called me back later that day to say she'd finished it early so I could have it in advance of the big storm. She was also very courteous in the store while helping 3 different customers at once. I didn't see this company on Yelp so I wanted to add it here because I think she deserves to be recognized for her excellent service. read more
