Instead of a wrist strap, she suggested creating a floral hoop to carry my train before bustling for photos. This was a unique suggestion and something I have not seen before. It worked out amazingly well and everyone kept asking about it. It helped keep my dress clean and wrinkle-free before I bustled it. Kirsten assisted by hemming the dress, adding cups and smoothing them out, and adding a 9-point bustle. Her pricing was reasonable for high-quality work. She went above and beyond by steaming my dress and veil prior to pick up. She also helped me determine how much to shorten my veil so it wouldn't interfere with the bustle. Finally, she suggested recording how to bustle the dress which made the process go smoothly on my wedding day. The best part was the bustle held, even after hiking up a mountainside for photos and after hours of dancing. I felt beautiful in my dress on my wedding day, and that is thanks to Kirsten. I never expected this. All this does is weigh down the hem and not let bottom of the pant leg move properly. I haven't washed them yet, but I am sure the pleat will sag after a washing, since it is only tacked on the side seams. I spent $30 each on this shoddy workmanship and will not be doing business with them again.

The repair is several shades darker than the rest of the shoe. I asked why she didn't call first. She just kept telling me it was okay. It's far from okay. The tip of the big toe is silly looking. She ruined my expensive shoes. I'll never go back. After 20+ years of trusting them with shoes and dry cleaning, I'm done.
