I have gotten a few pieces tailored and am always satisfied! Quick service with reasonable price

Took my new blazer in to have the sleeves shortened. After a few days, they said they couldn't hem them and had to shorten from the shoulder instead. When I picked it up, the shoulder pads were bunched and misshapen. They "fixed" it, but it's still not right--and now the sleeves are about two inches too short. A quality blazer is now unwearable. Very disappointed and would not return. read more

People who I'm assuming were the owners, were rude and ignored me when I came to pick up my clothes. I had to walk to the back where 1 woman was working (sewing) and asked for her help. She asked the women in the front to help and they pretended like they couldn't because I didn't have a ticket (which was clearly in my hand). The woman who was sewing had to get up to help me. That woman is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Very unfortunate too because we used to love this place. Now our family will find somewhere else to go. read more

Terrible experience with my wedding dress alterations. Hem was uneven, darts were crooked and unnecessary, lace detail was damaged, and the bustle was ruined. When I raised concerns, I was brushed off instead of helped. If you care about your gown, go somewhere else. read more

Needed to get my uniform adjusted because it was way to small and I needed it for the next day. I brought it to artistic custom tailor and they were so nice and patient with me! Not sure who helped me but the ladies in there were super fast and amazing! They were able to get me my uniform within 2 hours! This is a fantastic group of tailors and seamstresses. They really know what they are doing. I am odd shaped so almost everything needs to be altered, especially long sleeves and pants. When Amy and her ladies are through I can't tell that anything was altered. I just see that the piece now fits beautifully. This shop is friendly and speedy without being sloppy. The absolute best quality and value for the dollar. Have something special that needs to be altered take it here . Dropped my son's backpack off to have the zipper replaced. Was told it would be ready in 3 days. They kept the promise of 3 days, but the finished job is horrible. The zipper was sewn on backwards. The closing is on the bottom of the bag instead of on top. The piping was hanging off in 2 major areas of the backpack. Thread is everywhere. And because of the way it was done, you can't unzip it all the way because you won't be able to zip it back up. No way this zipper is going to hold. Best part, we were told that the woman who did it went back to China for a month. So within 3 days she did this messy job and left ... that's the excuse at least. read more

This was a great tailor business. Seems Prawne is no longer there and it has been taken over by a younger lady. I brought in my red winter jacket for the (red) zipper to be replaced. They replaced it with a black one. When I pointed this out all I got back from them is their opinion on how the black looks good on the red jacket, and that its not a high end jacket anyway. I had to insist that they replace it with the red color that they removed. She was rather upset with me about having to do this. When I returned a week later she did have a redish zipper on it. Prawne always did such a fantastic job with cheer and kindness. We will miss her and take our business elsewhere. read more

Was doing a wedding photoshoot that I casually was very unprepared for. Previous owner Pranee was fabulous!! The current people know how to tailor wrong only - to shorten my slacks, they just rolled them up and stitched them, creating a bulky 3 1/2" ugly looking hem. My matching top was cut and tailored too small to wear & cannot be fixed. Clothes lay around in piles and not hung up. Wish I knew there would be new owners when I dropped off these clothes. Never ever going back and advise others to never ever go there first time. Value was negative because clothes were ruined . read more

I had several pairs of jeans that had rips around back pockets that needed a quick sew fix vs throwing away and glad I found these lovely ladies at Artistic Custom Tailor. We dropped them off on a Saturday afternoon and were quoted $15 per pair (3 pairs) and received a call to pick them up on Monday. Upon arrival I inspected the jeans and they looked brand new! It's hard to find a pair of jeans that fit just right so if you have a button, rip, need length altered, etc... this is the spot to take them! Reading other reviews it looks like they can fix just about anything so before tossing a favorite garment that needs repair, stop by for a quick quote to see if they can bring it back to life! My husband works in the oil field and has to wear FR approved clothes and can be rough on the pants especially. He got a massive hole in knee so I tried to repair them myself which was an epic fail FR clothes are very difficult to repair. So I took them to this tailor (for the first time) and in about two days she had them finished and they have been holding up very well through heavy wear and wash I am extremely pleased with this tailor they do an outstanding job at stitching and patching holes especially FR and the cost was extremely affordable I will definitely be back!!! There alterations are cheap and they aren't professional! Worst experience I ever had I regret coming here! They age discriminate against you and truly treat you terrible! You will not be of any value to them! They also lie and aren't professional! They literally had nothing done when I came to pick up and they did it all right in front of me!?! Who does that?! Then they rushed to get it all done. She yelled at me the entire time and it was a nightmare. I drove 45 minutes!!! To come get my dress and other dresses!!! This event is for the most important event of my entire life!!!!! Why would I look for hours on reviews and the best alteration place?! This is not it. It's very deceiving!!!!! They know what they're doing here. Just picked up my wedding dress and it fits perfectly. You cannot find better prices either. I have a very intricate dress with lace and boning and it needed to be taken in quite a bit and have a bra sewn in. Total was $190. I was quoted upwards of $300 at every other place. I had high hopes for this place given their high reviews; however, I was very disappointed with the results. I took two dresses in to be tailored, both for an upcoming trip for a friend's wedding. On one dress, the alterations they made on the bust brought the waist seam up about an inch, resulting in the dress looking wider on my frame. Not the end of the world, a belt covers it and gives me a waist again. The other dress (pictured) had cups added. They had the dresses for a week and a half, and when I called the day of pick up, they confirmed they'd be ready. This dress wasn't completed when I showed up and they were just adding the cups in. As you can see, the way they were added resulted in a lopsided bust with the lining being pulled in unflattering ways. I asked for the cups to be removed because they were too large for my natural cup size anyway, and after some back and forth, they said it would be ready the next day. I thought we had agreed they'd be removed; however, when I showed up to pick up the dress, the cups were still in the dress. She said she'd fixed the cups so they'd lay smoother -- which she had, and the work was done well from the outside view of the dress -- but the cups weren't sewn in to where they were attached; I was able to pull them most of the way off without much pull at all. Regardless, I had asked they be removed and they hadn't been, with the cups still being too large for my cup size. Overall, while the dresses are still wearable, I needed to make adjustments to both of them myself at home before I felt comfortable wearing them out. read more

I found this business on Yelp and I must say I was impressed. The owner is super friendly and I have to second all the other reviews. She made me feel at home and welcomed me into her business as if I had been coming there for the last 10 years. I had a linen shirt that I am wearing in my wedding, it was too baggy and she put her skills to the test and made it work! I tried it on and the fit was just how I imagined. You can tell she has been doing this for awhile, and because of this experience she will have another faithful customer. Along with the great experience, her prices are extremely reasonable. My sister-in-law referred me here, and I'm glad she did. Prawnee is exceptionally friendly and does excellent work. I needed to have a bridesmaid dress altered in the neck and hemmed. She did a great job, and did it for a reasonable price. I also brought in some pants that my husband had ripped a seam out of, and she was kind enough to do include it in the price of my dress alterations. Please note this establishment is under new ownership (as of Spring 2023, I believe) and has fallen on hard times. I frequently brought items for me and my son in over the years while Pranee (older Thai woman) was running the shop and everything was great. Last week, I brought in a pair of pants from my son's suit to have the hem adjusted. It was then that I realized the shop was no longer being run by Pranee. I was told they would complete the work in a few days, which would have been great as I wasn't in a huge rush. $20 for a hem seemed a bit expensive but not outrageous. When I came to pick them up several days after they said they would be ready, they said they were done. There was just one problem, they couldn't find them. They clumsily searched their entire rack to no avail and even invited me to comb through the row of clothing, which seemed very unprofessional and made me feel odd, but I was trying to find those pants because that is my son's only suit. They asked me to write down my name and number on a scrap of paper and that they would check their other store and call me back. I've not heard from them. I will try again this week but I'm not hopeful. They are exceptionally disorganized and disappointing given this place was once so good. I'll have to find a new tailor. read more

I took it in on a Friday and needed done by Tuesday evening. When I went back and tried it on the dress fit perfectly and it wasn't too expensive. Pranee can do anything with fabric. Give her a picture of a suit you like and she makes it. She recently recovered cushions for our patio. For me she has altered mostly blue jeans and pants, length and waste. She always gets it right. She has quite the eye. Our daughter is there constantly because she is a small size.
