I brought my wedding dress here after reading the Yelp reviews. The location is super easy to find and parking wasn't an issue. If you happen to bring a dude with you, there's also a bar next door that you can drop them off at. Upon entering, I was very warmly welcomed and directed in to a changing area in the back. There's no door but plenty of room to get changed in to even the largest of dresses. Prawnee came and pinned up the back of my dress and outlined how she would place a button and loop in between the folds of my dress so everything would be hidden. She also outlined that she would replace the hook and eye at the top of my zipper to a stronger set, and fix a section of my zipper that was fraying. The whole visit took about 5 minutes. I was handed my number and told to come back in three weeks. No problemo. I came back and my dress was perfect. She put a simple button and loop in the folds and it was so easy to bustle that I could do it myself. She also did the extra alterations that she had outlined. When it came to payment, she only charged me $35 for everything. Perfect! I couldn't recommend this location more. Prawnee is so friendly and complimentary to everyone who comes through her door. I picked up my new suit after having it tailored at the retailer where I bought it, and not only found that the jacket sleeves were way too short, but that the staff really didn't seem to care. This was on a Wednesday, and I needed to have the suit no later than Friday so I could have it cleaned before flying for a job interview. I found this place late on Wednesday afternoon, and she was happy to take the work, and had my jacket ready for me by noon on Friday. The work looks great, and there was no drama at all. I was on the verge of tears when I brought a bridesmaid dress to Pranee because it was too small (even though I ordered it two sizes up...) and non-returnable. She took some measurements, hung my dress in her queue, and told me to come back in two weeks. For the last two weeks I've had so much anxiety about this dress, constantly wondering if Pranee had enough fabric to work with and if it would fit the next time I tried it on, or if I was going to have to tell my friend that I could no longer be a bridesmaid in her wedding (I know, I can be overdramatic...). We walked in with an emergency suit request for an upcoming job interview and Pranee was happy to help and eager to please in addition to generously accepting the rush request. She might bombard you with questions. She might give you a tap on the tush while she's pinning your pants before you've even had time to decipher what she's said through her thick accent. Back at the end of 2106, I had her hem a four pairs of pants for me and she did an awesome job. She was friendly and kind AND reasonably priced. At the beginning of 2017, I had two more pants that needed to be hemmed. I live in Castle Rock, but was willing to drive to her location because of the quality of her work and the kindness she posses towards her customers. My Mother was already sick at this point and I had a T-Shirt that she normally would have hemmed for me, but was unable to, so I took that to Prawnee as well. I told her about my Mom being sick etc. Fast forward to now. I moved into a new house after my Mother passed last year. I bought curtains that needed to be hemmed. I again made the trip because I knew Prawnee would do a good job. It has been two years since I was in there and not only did she remember me, but asked about my Mom. In my book, that is AWESOME customer service when someone remembers her customers from only a few visits AND asked about my Mom considering it only came up once. I brought in a bridesmaids dress for hemming. I am not pleased with my overall experience. The actual hem work is good, however. If you have any fragrance sensitivity, avoid this place! I could barely stand to be in the there, and now my dress smells. She had my dress for over a week. I went to pick it up and she had not even started work on it. She asked me to come back later because it had been cut and only needed to be sewn. However, this was untrue, it had not been cut. I was lied to. She was able to complete the work by the end of the day. It cost more than the actual dress! $65 for a hem. I feel cheated. If I had time to take it somewhere else I would have. ive had two suits hemmed and tailored here. easy to find location, plenty of parking. ive only ever seen 1 lady inside. she quickly greets me. she is SUPER nice, asks what you want. i put my suits on and she knows the quality right off the bat. she knows the terminology of the parts of a suit and explains what shes going to do. she knows that pleated pants have a cuff, and straight pants do not (for the classier look). that is the true style. a lot of "tailors" dont know this. she has a vision in her head, and pinned my jacket and pants within a few minutes to a perfect fit. work quality and stitching in the end is superb and high quality. its neatly done. the suit came back clean, pressed, and wrinkle free. there could be a language barrier and some trouble communicating if you have a hard time with strong asian accents. but otherwise, she knows exactly what shes doing. I've been in search for a long time for a good seamstress and came upon this place on Yelp. I did a trial period and took three pairs of dress slacks to be taken in at the waist (1+inch per pair). I am amazed at how excellent the work is and the price! I paid $15/pair and she was able to have all three pairs done in four days! I have a small waist and curvy bottom which makes it difficult sometimes to find someone that knows how to sew to my measurements right..well this place hit it right on the head. I've since gone back again to have three pairs of shorts and a denim skirt taken in by Artistic Custom Tailor. I had a cocktail dress I brought in at closing on Tuesday and she had it done for me Saturday, and she could have done earlier. I also took two pairs of slacks in to have hemmed and I couldn't be happier. A little pricey for the dress but the fit was perfect once she worked her magic so I'm not complaining. I took a pair of pants back to be modified because one leg was significantly longer than the other, and the man and woman that worked there started yelling at each other. Pranee is amazing! My husband called first thing on Saturday and asked if she was available to tailor my blazer on the same day, as I had a job interview on Monday morning, and she said sure thing come on in.
