I came here after Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. I'm so thankful for places like these being open on a holiday so that my family and I can enjoy some great dim sum! This has always been my go to spot for quality dim sum togo. They have a huge election to choose from so you never go wrong. The Asian ladies have the best service being able to speak Chinese, Vietnamese and English which is insane. Much respect to this place!

Visited on Friday 5pm ish. They've getting ready to close, most of the dim sum items were sold out. I ordered two dim sum items, each $5.30, their price is more expensive than dim sum at ranch 99. How can $5.30 x2 came out to $13.50? Even with gst?

Har gow was good with good dough to filling ratio. The dumpling shell was soft but still has a bite to it. Not soggy nor too thick. The shrimp paste filling is not like what you would get from a sit down dim sum restaurant with actual little pieces of shrimp but still tasty. Each order comes with 3 pieces. The Rice Noodles Sheets had 2 pieces of shrimp in it. Each order comes with 2 sheets. The Rice Noodle sheet is on a thicker side. It came with the sweet soy sauce dip. This was just ok. Egg custards were good. Good size and reasonably priced. The tart shell was made of flaky dough which I like. The egg custard itself was not too sweet. They have a buy 5 get 1 free deal. In the same store there's another counter that serves roat pork, roast duck and chasiu pork but I didn't try them this time. They seemed to have regular customers because the staff seemed to know the customers that were coming in and what they order and they were having long conversations with each other. It created a wait time to order but I got my food quickly after I placed my order.

A great place to get your Chinese BBQ meats like roast duck, roast pork, bbq pork, soy sauce chicken, beef innards, pork innards, etc. Always a long line of people, so plan accordingly. I have not tried the rice plates yet, but I do like the roast duck and roast pork. The dim sum is ok, but it will satisfy your itch for dim sum without having to get to a sit-down restaurant or ordering take out.

Dimsum on pushcarts is getting expensive at the restaurants, and so we often go to this dim sum bakery to have our craving fix for a reasonable price. For years, this location was our go-to spot for the bbq pork, soy sauce, chicken, and classic dimsum dishes. And it seems it is still a go-to for many people because lines here can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. For efficiency, there's two separate lines in front of the two separate doors, 1) dim sum only, 2) bbq only. What happens if you want both? The quality of the food just isn't the same anymore. The dumpling shells and shrimp crepes are thick and doughy. The shrimp balls are massive, but they too feel doughy. The fried chicken was good but only good when it was hot and crispy. It got cold and soft quickly, and was very oily.

This place is a dimsum to-go place. I usually come here early in the morning when it opens and theres a line forming already. The egg tart is always so flaky and the century egg congee always gets finished by the family. Their steamed buns are also great (they even sell bags of buns you can go steam at home to eat). All their dimsum is pretty good. When we come in the morning everything is hot and fresh. We come here every time we come to bay area (3-4 times now) and will continue to come in the future.

We came here to get some of their roasted duck for a party. They had plenty but there was a pretty good line to get one. About $25 for a whole roasted duck. It was good. Would definitely get it again. I think they also do full size roasted pigs (heo quay) for Vietnamese engagements parties. I saw some orders on the counter. They prefer cash or a 2% upcharge for credit.

The decor and ambiance is nice - very spacious and elegant. You can join the waitlist from Yelp - always a plus. Highlights: the har gow were plump with large pieces of shrimp and minimal filler. The dumpling skin was on the thicker side (I don't mind it but my wife likes thinner skins.) Maybe that was needed because of how big these were - really packed with shrimp. The mango pudding was delicious and reminded us of childhood, and the shrimp noodle roll was great. Lowlight: I was less happy with the xiaolongbao - there are so many good options for these in the South Bay that this meager interpretation was frankly bordering on blasphemy. I would not order those again. The steamed char siu bao were far better but still could've used more pork in the filling and were slightly soggy and over steamed. We also had the beef chow fun which was excellent with smoky wok hei flavor. Overall a good place for dim sum but avoid the xiaolongbao.

This is our family's new celebration restaurant. You know, the place you go to when out of town guests come and you want to treat them. The place you go to to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. The first time we came was for dim sum, which was soo good! I like that they still do carts and you get to experience the steam that tells you it's fresh. The interior design is beautiful, refined elegances, with marble flooring, chandeliers above, bright lighting, big screens where appropriate, numerous private rooms and details even in the bathrooms. It is a banqueting venue with ample space for weddings and large events. Our family particularly love their large round tables that can accommodate up to 12, as sometimes it's hard to eat all together at 1 table. When we were there for Chinese New Year celebration, they had a special menu with different selections to choose from. There was also a large party going on, where they were able to partition off the main space for privacy. Also there was a Tesla test driving promotion out front. Definitely good business to partner with other services like that, knowing their clientele. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Of course, it is on the high end of dining experiences, but for special occasions, I think it's worth it.

We knew to go early, since they don't take reservations and we often see lines outside. We arrived at 10:30am and the front manager said if we can be done my 12:30, that they had a table for us. Party of 12, since we got there early, we agreed. The side room had the biggest round table for us. They ask you what kind of tea you want, we like chrysanthemum tea. You order the items on the paper menu and it comes to your table. So we got going on the orders and TBH, we must be hungry, because we did a lot of orders (we had plenty of left overs). Tried some favorites and a few new items that we thought were unique to their restaurant. My dad has to order crispy noodle and chow fun, and we also ordered chicken fried rice. The service was prompt and attentive, with enough servers to take care of the side room. Since it was the "sun room", the sun was shining through the windows and it was bright. Review from my parents: it was just meh, they prefer the other place near our house. I think the food is good, but probably won't come back again with a big group of us, since they don't have many big round tables. And personally, I prefer the whole experience of the ladies coming around with their carts. Perhaps their dinner menu is also worth trying. Bonus for us is that we can literally walk to this restaurant. Parking could be an issue if you come later.

Ironically, I'm not a fan of them myself--they're a bit too eggy for my taste. When it comes to dim sum quality and service, I honestly prefer Koi Palace. The food quality there is more consistent, and the service is much more phenomenal. The only things this place really has over Koi Palace are the lower prices and those black sesame custard buns my friend loves! I've been here at least a dozen times, and the food can be hit or miss. Sometimes dishes come out cold, like they've been sitting out for a while instead of being served fresh and hot. That said, there are a few items we always order that are consistently good when brought out fresh like salted crispy pork chops, siu mai, shrimp rolls, and fried calamari. Be prepared for a wait on weekends since it gets crowded. If you're coming with a large group, it's best to arrive before noon. The restaurant is located next to a hotel, and finding the restroom can be confusing since it's inside the hotel. Service is also pretty minimal--they seem understaffed, and I almost always have to flag someone down just to get basics like soy sauce, chili, and water. I don't understand why they don't just have the sauce on the table for guest to dip, but I get that they're saving $ on controlling the cost down. On my most recent visit, the experience really went downhill. Our table had food but no soy sauce, chilli nor water, and when I flagged a waiter multiple times, he got visibly annoyed and irritated. It was frustrating--we shouldn't have to chase someone down repeatedly for basic condiments. Being met with attitude for that honestly left a bad impression. That experience alone makes me reconsider coming back. Good food at a good price is one thing, but poor service--especially to that extent--can really ruin the overall experience.

Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. The table that we were seated at has 7 seats -- I looked at the other tables that were empty and they also had 7 seats -- meaning that at any point when a table for 6 or 7 was available, we, party of 6, could have been seated but she chose not to seat us and have us wait. Once we were seated, everything moved rather quickly. We were given a menu to order -- we ordered and within 10-15 minutes, everything was brought out to us. No wait time for the food, it was very fast. The food was decent but nothing memorable. Overpriced dim sum, overpriced food.
