That said, we probably won't be coming back. -At the salsa/sauce bar to top your tacos, everything had visibly been sitting out all day and looked super bad, so we skipped it (which was disappointing since we love adding all the ferments and spices) -The elote (street corn) was old and mushy, tasted boiled but maybe a few days ago? -The food came out way too fast, less than 5 minutes after we ordered. So right away knew it's not made fresh to order. -A few pesky fruit flies/gnats were buzzy around our table while we tried to eat, which just makes things feel dirty. If you have the right expectations coming here (affordable fast food with way better ambience, flavor, and options than the Taco Bell next door), you'll probably be very happy. Me and my friends came here at 130am. Before close. There was one woman working the tables and she was awesome! She quickly served us! I got three tacos and rice/beans. Overall - it hit!!! My favorite part was the salsa bar. I love salsa and being able to try different ones was really nice. They had different version of verde salsa. I tried all of them :) Tacos were good. The enchiladas are to die for, although they're not the traditional type (as most Mexicans would say) the portions and flavors will have you ordering it again next time. I'm not sure if they changed management/owners a year or two ago but there has been a huge decline in quality of food and customer service as of a year or two ago. Tonight I waited an extremely long time for a soup, two corn on the cobs, an horchata and rice (I'm not sure exact time - maybe 40 minutes). They forgot the rice on my order. Forgot the chips that come with the order completely. The ice melted and watered down my drink. Luckily the new young lady didn't give me a hassle when I asked her to remake the drink, though given to me 1/4 empty. The soup was 1/4 empty. And ALSO nickel and dimed me for each sauce (this made me upset AFTER waiting 40 minutes AND tipping) but I guess business is business. The food has become mediocre as well, they have even removed and reduced nice garnishes and packaging they used. Each time I go something similar happens. I periodically place an order to see if it was just a rough period and maybe the business would improve but they have lost my business for good. read more

Well I ordered two burritos and Chilequiles. It took 30 minutes to get my order to go. Truly not sure what took so long. Once I finally got my order I left only to get home and fine out that my chilequiles were incorrect. I asked for red sauce and they did green sauce. At best this was just a crappy pile of nachos. The salsa itself was a decent sized helping of fresh cut tomatoes, cilantro and onions. It definitely tasted fresh! The torta was perfectly fluffy and not overwhelmingly sweet. However, the chips themselves were not very crispy, i.e. as if they were "undercooked". The burrito while overall tasty, could have had a little more sauce. It was a little on the bland side.
