They are very accommodating to your little ones , we brought our 8 month old for the first time and they had the highchair ready and offered to bring him a little plate if we wanted to share our food with him. The FOOD has always been amazing , my personal favorites are the fish tacos & ceviche ! The tacos are the closest to Baja , California Tacos I've ever gotten locally. Their super burritos area solid choice as well. Prices have gone up over the years too, but that's understandable. One thing that hasn't changed is the service. The staff has always been nice, welcoming, and hospitable. I've never had any problems with the customer service here. This time I ordered a super burrito and two street tacos. Taco Jalisco has always had some of my favorite carne asada. The steak is flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had in a Mexican dish. The street tacos were simple and good. Carne Asada and chicken with , cilantro, onions, and their hot sauce on top. And I have to mention their hot sauce! It has been one of my favorite things about Taco Jalisco for years. It adds so much flavor without taking away from the food. The super burrito was good too, although it was on the smaller side compared to super burritos I've gotten at other places. Still, the flavor was there. The seasoned steak, rice, and house sauce all blend together really well. Their rice especially seems to soak up some of that sauce, and when you get everything together in one bite, it makes for a really flavorful burrito. After 20 years, Taco Jalisco is still one of my favorite places in Vallejo to grab a burrito and some tacos. I wouldn't necessarily call it the best anymore, especially with so many other good Mexican spots around Vallejo now, but it will always be one of my favorites and a place I'll continue coming back to.

They have added more seating so you can eat there fresh and hot. Parking is still tight with only a few spots nearby, but it is worth it for the food.

We both had long days at work so he stopped by on his way home to grab dinner. Recently my go-to has been their crunchy asada tacos so he grabbed me two of them, and confirmed that he wanted everything on them (cheese, onion and cilantro). When he got home we saw that my tacos were plain- not what he ordered. He called them to let them know of the issue and they told him that he could get drive the 15 minutes back to the truck and pick up sides of onion and cilantro. Bringing the tacos that they messed up on and getting it replaced with a fresh correct order was not an option. THEY didn't make the tacos as advertised/ordered, and their solution to fixing the error THAT THEY MADE was for the customer to drive back to the truck to get the toppings that THEY forgot. After using gas and spending time going back to the truck for the toppings, they then expected us drive back home and sprinkle them on cold old tacos. Keep in mind that these tacos are six dollars each. To add more insult to injury they cut costs by skimping on the cheese. This is a dish that I've ordered quite a few times so I know how it usually looks. This time around it looks like they sprinkled it on the corner of one of the tacos to give that melted/crusty cheese look, but there was barely any inside. He said there were people working that he hadn't seen there before so I'm not sure if that's what's contributing to the piss poor service, but whatever the case the solution that they gave for an error that they made is ridiculous.
