Very delicious very affordable Mexican cuisine. I came he once and when I wanted to come get more I got lost. But I stumbled across it about a year later same way I did the first time. One thing is for sure I won't get lost again

Carne Asada Quesadilla-Bomb

Went to Taco Jalisco taco truck one night and ordered an Asada quesadilla, two asada tacos and a pastor taco. The quesadilla and pastor taco were for myself and were really flavorful! It's hard to get a good quesadilla from a taco truck and taco Jalisco definitely did their thing with that one. All of the food was hot and made made perfectly. The pastor taco was good too, but that quesadilla was my favorite. It was a nice size and had a good amount of meat and cheese inside. I ordered the Asada tacos for someone else and they really liked them too. I would definitely recommend hitting them up for some good, quick food.

Hands down they have some great tasting street tacos . This is outside with very limited seating , like one picnic table. Inexpensive tacos for a party in your mouth . I love that they have whole grilled baby onions and peppers . I had 1 carnitas taco and 1 fish taco . The carnitas was juicy and seasoned well, and the fish was fresh . I suggest if your in the area to try them out ! Sorry guys no pic of the carnitas taco ‍. It looked to good to waste any time. Don't worry they have a wide menu for you .

Pineapple water refreshing.

Five stars all the way for the tacos! Here is why this has become one of my favorite trucks: Lengua, lengua and some more lengua(tongue)! I don't usually eat lengua tacos but I was sold when I tried them here not only is it soft and fresh not chewy but the tacos are topped off with avocado. Also try the pineapple water it's delicious and refreshing. Side note the truck is not RED at this location.

Disgusting and absolutely unacceptable...

Probably one of the best Mexican food spots in the area. I usually go with the burrito or taco salad and I am never disappointed!

The truck in Vallejo is a better experience. They are generous with their servings, and give you pickled vegetables.

I ordered their Chicken Nacho Fries and Carne Asada Fries, both topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and green onion. I also opted to add guacamole for an additional fee--and it was definitely worth it! The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and I'm always left feeling satisfied after eating here. The customer service is another highlight; the staff are always friendly and accommodating, which makes the overall experience even better. It definitely makes me want to come back and try more of their menu!

Taco Jalisco has been one of my favorite places to get Mexican food in Vallejo for the past 20…read moreyears, so I figured it was finally time to give them a review! Over the years, I've watched this place go through a few upgrades. One of the biggest changes is the menu that used to be painted on the wall is now displayed on digital display. It looks pretty cool, although I do miss the old painted menu because it was part of what I remembered about this place. But with prices changing over the years, I can definitely understand why going digital makes more sense than having to repaint the wall every time something changes. Prices have gone up over the years too, but that's understandable. One thing that hasn't changed is the service. The staff has always been nice, welcoming, and hospitable. I've never had any problems with the customer service here. This time I ordered a super burrito and two street tacos. Taco Jalisco has always had some of my favorite carne asada. The steak is flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had in a Mexican dish. The street tacos were simple and good. Carne Asada and chicken with , cilantro, onions, and their hot sauce on top. And I have to mention their hot sauce! It has been one of my favorite things about Taco Jalisco for years. It adds so much flavor without taking away from the food. The super burrito was good too, although it was on the smaller side compared to super burritos I've gotten at other places. Still, the flavor was there. The seasoned steak, rice, and house sauce all blend together really well. Their rice especially seems to soak up some of that sauce, and when you get everything together in one bite, it makes for a really flavorful burrito. After 20 years, Taco Jalisco is still one of my favorite places in Vallejo to grab a burrito and some tacos. I wouldn't necessarily call it the best anymore, especially with so many other good Mexican spots around Vallejo now, but it will always be one of my favorites and a place I'll continue coming back to.

My favorite was their chicken tinga, which reminded me of the chicken burritos I used to get back in my hometown across the bridge. I immediately told myself I'd have to come back and order a chicken tinga burrito. A few weeks later, I finally returned on a Sunday while they were serving their World Cup Sunday brunch. I ordered a chicken tinga super burrito and a California burrito to take home. I was really excited to dig in, but when I opened the bag, the "super" burrito looked more like a regular burrito. The flavors were still great, but the filling was disappointing. There was barely any chicken or sour cream, and I had to eat more than halfway through before I finally got a decent balance of meat, rice, and beans. I even had to add my own sour cream because there was so little inside. As for the California burrito, it was just okay. The fries were stale, and there wasn't enough sour cream or guacamole, which made the burrito pretty dry. It honestly reminded me more of a breakfast burrito than a California burrito, and I wasn't a fan. Overall, the flavors are definitely there, and it's clear the food has potential. However, the portions felt skimpy for the price, making the burritos feel overpriced. I'll give Sol y Sazon another chance because I know they're capable of making delicious food, but if my next experience is like this one, they'll likely lose me as a customer.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. La Joya Taco Truck has been on my radar for years. I finally tried it for the first time last year,…read moreand since then it has become one of my go-to taco trucks in Vallejo. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
