Have driven by this taco truck 100 times and finally stopped to try it with my husband. It's in a blink and you miss it spot next to a Botanica. But there are always people ordering food so we figured it had to be good. I'd give this place a solid 3.5, rounding up on here because they were nice. I ordered a torta with carnitas and a horchata. My torta was huge. I ended up giving half to hubby. The roll made the sandwich. Grilled inside for texture but still soft and fluffy. Carnitas were like a pulled pork. Decent flavor and not fatty. Plus crisp veggies on the sandwich. A little heavy on the mayo. Next time I'd add avocado or cheese. The horchata was good. Very flavorful. Not watered down. My husband ordered four tacos... Two al pastor and two carne asada. Meat was tender and flavorful. Pastor was little spicy, which is good. Wish the meat tasted a little more grilled/crispy. I feel like the pricing was fair. The food tasted authentic. The service was friendly. It was prepared fresh to order which I appreciate. Looking forward to trying a burrito in the future.

We had the quessabirrias and consome, taco al pastor and asada and quesadilla de asada , I would highly recommend the birria was very flavorful and cheesy and the best crunch we've had so far from our quessabirria experience! We cannot wait to go back for the chille rileno it was sold out today ! Its a must stop taco place , we loved it!

This is one of my favorite taco trucks in Vallejo! Fast, friendly service, a clean covered area to dine in. Best Carne Asada's in town!

My spouse and I recently tried take out from here and it was part of a birthday extravaganza weekend :) Items tried: taquitos dorados de papa, chilaquiles rojos and sopa de pollo. The good: The staff was kind and really quick to take the order and get the food ready. It was hot and packaged well. The flavor was great and not greasy on all the items. The beans on the chilaquiles plate were *chef's kiss* and the taquitos were perfect. The sopa de pollo was on point flavor wise as well. Tasted just like homemade sopa. The chilaquiles were amazing too. The tortillas (corn) were excellent and fresh. The not so good (and reason I knocked off two stars): While all the dishes were great flavor wise... something pretty miserable happened with the sopa. I can't say for sure but it seemed we were given the very last dregs of maybe the days prior soup? Or perhaps someone didn't really take care in that part of the order. I'll never know for sure. The container wasn't all the way full and it was mostly broth. I was a bit shocked and actually counted that it contained one single cube of potato, 2 small pieces of carrot and 3 pieces of chayote. And 1 chicken leg. This is supposed to be a whole meal (not an appetizer). It wasn't filling at all. I wasn't going to eat my spouse's meal so, I tried to get full but it was kind of a sad thing. It came with sides and unfortunately the rice was dry & slightly old. The rest of the sides (cilantro & onion + tortillas) were fresh and good. We plan on trying it again and I don't think I will try sopa here again. Even though, that's one of my favorite things ever.

I'll never forget standing around eating one after another between swigs of Modelo with friends... California tacos have always been generally great, but this place is special. Since Oaxaca, I've only had as good al pastor in Mexico City last year in a similar setting. So I'm super excited and grateful that Vallejo now has its own amazing popup serving these incredible tacos, and more. My husband is a burrito guy with a big appetite, yet the servings are so hearty he can only eat half in one sitting. And my al pastor tacos sent me back to that Oaxaca bus stop with adventures ahead. Sitting on a busy corner parking lot, this place is super popular so expect to wait, plus parking can be tricky. All said, the service is efficient and people are patient to wait for what they know is a good thing. While waiting you can bag up your own garnishes like pico, salsa, pickled peppers, sautéed or raw onions, and more. I saw some people enjoy their food in their cars, but both times we brought ours home since we live close and the packaging keeps everything together well. Truly the most authentic Mexican al pastor and more you'll find in Vallejo.

At best it's rated a 1 . The food is not even seasoned. Yes it's big portions but no season in the taco meat. I got 4 asada tacos and 1 asada torta for the cost of $29 and both orders weren't seasoned. Service was low level. Ambiance is a parking lot. The music was the only thing that was good. I really can't believe people be so excited to be in line for unseasoned food. Never again. So yes this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

We order ahead because we're on a tight schedule -- I'm a busy, involved parent getting him to the gym after school. A few weeks back, despite ordering plain chicken, his plate came out with pico de gallo. He won't eat it that way. I didn't have time to drive back, so I let it go. The following week, we ordered in person and the waitress assured me she double-checked the order. My son's meal came out correctly -- but my plate was made plain instead of how I ordered it. Not a big deal. I can eat it. I called simply to let them know there was a mix-up -- not demanding anything, not asking for free food. What I wasn't prepared for was being called a liar. I was told the order was made correctly and that if I wanted it fixed I had to bring everything back immediately -- including the salsas. I explained we were on a time schedule for my son's gym session. Instead of understanding, I was told my "games won't fly" there and that I was being a "Karen" looking for free food. My son was hungry and upset during the call. She heard him. We drove back anyway. I placed the plate on the counter, and once she saw it, the mistake was obvious. Only then did she offer to remake it. At that point it wasn't about the food -- it was about being accused of lying and being publicly disrespected in front of my child. Weeks later, I noticed the order was never refunded. I had to dispute the charge with American Express to get my money back. I've supported this restaurant for years. This wasn't about a wrong plate -- mistakes happen. It was about how we were treated when trying to resolve it. I can't return after being called dishonest and a beggar over a simple order issue.
