While staying at the Marriott we came here for lunch. The staff here were friendly and helpful. They have a limited menu, but do offer fish tacos and shrimp tacos too. Their salsas were pretty good and their spicy salsa was really good. Chips were decent too. Guac had a nice flavor. Tacos were pretty nice, the fish is grilled, not fried and it was fresh and tasty. They have nice seating, in the sand on the end of the beach with hightops and picnic tables. Definitely a nice place to grab a taco!

Great quick lunch spot on the beach. The service was wonderful and fast. The food was good. I will say the bowl is large enough for 2. There is limited seating and if the sun is out it can get a bit warm. Will definitely be back on my next trip to try other items on the menu

    Oh it's super "vacation-ish" here!

With any new restaurant, you want good food, amazing customer service, and an ambiance with a definite vibe. T&T got one of the 3 right. It's swank, in a WE ARE ON VACATION IN VIRGINIA BEACH sort of way. The drinks are expensive, the food is...unremarkable. It's a soft taco, folks. That's it. Is one soft "street" taco worth $6 for one? I think not. It's for tourists, not for locals.

The food was okay kinda cold took forever nice view for overpriced food lol took years for our chips and salsa which had hella salt on it and then they double charged my card 2 different amounts go at your own risk

First of all this place was so hard to find! It's inside the hotel on the beach front... anywho. My server got my drink order wrong like a million times. I was done with my entire meal before I finally got my drink TO GO. Lol. Plus she was talking mess about a girl asking for a job the entire time but ironically couldn't do hers right. Chicken tinga quesadilla and corn was really good. I would just skip it because the atmosphere was too chaotic and I do not mean the customers.

New Restaurant Alert! Tacos N Tequila is in Virginia Beach, VA. It's located on the back side of the Cavalier Resort's Embassy Suites Hotel. It's on 41st Street and parking can be difficult to find. It's a cute "Restaurant" more like an outside tiki bar that serves food. They have a nice variety of Mexican dishes and a decent drink list. They sell Tequila flights! Yes, Tequila flights. They are pricey though. I had a Strawberry Margarita, and it was watered down due to sitting at the bar for a while after being made. The staff is friendly, and I think it will just take time for them to obtain a good flow and routine. I also had the Grouper (fish) taco and Seared Shrimp taco. They were okay, I wish it had some more flavor, but I wasn't disappointed with the price. Overall, I give them a 5/10. The views are one of the best parts. Chill vibes and right off the beach. I'll try them again after they work out the kinks of being so new.

The food, service by Alexandra, and ambiance added bliss to a wonderful lunch with my son. First time here, they sat us right away. Seemed pretty busy. Everyone here has a great attitude! Definitely coming back!

Imagine white people taco night on the beach. Amazing ambiance but not so great food. Our server was very nice and knew the menu. The food comes out in take out boxes. The cheese on the nachos was scarce. My friend had the quesadilla she said it was good. Parking is $3 0-3 hours parking is at the cavalier/Marriott. Honestly I know they just opened but I don't think I will come back. It took 25 mins for us to get our check and to check out before we could leave. I suggest going to senior fox.

I was excited to try this place but I won't be returning. The parking garage was full around 5pm when we got there but luckily we ubered. Walk past the embassy suites entrance, then walk through their pool area and you'll see a little spot known as tacos n tequila. It's first come first serve and it's extremely small there. There are seats by the bar and roughly 9-10 tables. My waitress, Kylee, told us that it was not suppose to be a "restaurant" originally just a bar and food service to go, that's why the kitchen was so small. She brought us our waters, and took our orders for drinks promptly as we waited for our other guests to arrive. We ordered two jumbo skinny margaritas and I asked what the tequila was that came, she said she wasn't sure (but it was a house). We asked to sub for casamigos which we knew would be an up charge but usually servers announce how much the up charge is. It was $17 on top of the $17 margarita - so $34 for a margarita in a plastic cup...but at the end of the day i would have still liked to be told how much it would be. In total our bill was $250...For food, We ordered tacos: one grouper fried, one seared, and one shrimp. The tacos were surprisingly good, the chips and salsa I didn't care for. I'll start with some negatives before I end with the positives. So negatives: the service needs a bit of work. I never got my water refilled so I took from two other waters at our table before she finally came and gave us an extra water after one of our guests ordered another water. We ordered salt with our margaritas but it only came once with our drinks, usually servers ask based on your previous or first order. We asked for our check but she completely forgot and we had to ask again. Lastly, the thing that myself and other patrons sitting at a table next to us found interesting is that for how expensive our margaritas were, everyone had plastic cups BUT the large group close to us had glassware for their margaritas. I understand why they have plastic cups because Tulu, Cav beach club all have the same policy. But when asked if we could have glassware since the other table did, she said they do not have any and it was because it was Bruce Thompson and everyone has to pull out all of the stops for him and make it as nice as possible. If you put your name on the restaurant, you should stand behind it and should be served exactly how the rest of your customers are. That did not sit well with me. So positives: the ambiance and people love the views being by the beach (don't be mistaken there was NOT a Mexican band there as I read in a previous review - looks like it was just for opening night) Maybe my hopes were too high for this place and by the end of my time there I was ready to leave. For the prices and service, I'll just keep going to Jessy's or Pelons instead.

I think this time was even better! We arrived around 230 on a Saturday, lucky for us happy hour started at 3 and we had a 30 minute wait for 6 people. Literally perfect timing because no one was waiting before us and about 10-20 minutes later the waiting area became packed for that 3 o clock happy hour. Side note: happy hour is from 3-7, 7 days a week! The service was phenomenal, the whole staff was so nice and accommodating. While we waited for our table, we were able to order a cocktail from one of the waitresses. We also had a baby with a stroller and they made sure we had plenty of room once we were seated at our table. The food was amazing, I'm a fan of cooked oyster but i decided to be a little spontaneous and try them raw. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean tasting these oysters were. It reminded me of eating sashimi. My wife and father in law had the lobster rolls, they both loved them! My son had the double cheeseburger from the happy hour menu, literally cannot beat this deal. $6 double cheeseburger with fries on the boardwalk is unimaginable lol. I had the Nashville hot chicken, which was good but maybe could've used a little more flavor. But the quality of the sandwich as a whole was spot on. I really don't have any complaints, this was the highlight of our day. My in laws live in Wisconsin but they travel a bunch and they said that these oysters were some of the best they had ever had. They would never see 1$ oysters where they live, so I'm glad we were able to come here and create this memory together. If you've ever debated whether taking the trip to the strip is worth it, it is! Definitely check this place out!

The lovely staff were genuinely happy to take photos for us without any prompting. The flow of the buffet was perfect, and the food presentation was delightfully charming! There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. It was very peaceful and even if you don't choose a booth, the tables on the opposite side of the bar do provide some privacy due to the small partitions. The variety of food offered was just right (not overwhelmingly too many options and not too little options) and the food was tasty. It was an excellent first impression that left me excited to await what other fun events they will hold in the future.
