Chicken burrito w/ side of roasted veggies
    Jeff L.

Stopped at Quirks on the weekend of SITW. First time at this location, but have eaten countless times at the Town Center location and always have a great dining experience! Was very disappointed with this location for two reasons. First, the food just did not taste good. I ordered the chicken burrito with a side of roasted vegetables and avocado. The vegetables looked and tasted old. The chicken burrito was not terrible but did not taste fresh. The avocado was discolored and looked old, definitely not fresh. The avocado tasted ok but I did not eat more than a bite of it. My friend ordered a Poke bowl and he said the rice tasted strange and not fresh. Second, our server really just wasn't friendly. I'm not the type to complain about food or service, neither is my friend I was eating with. He did mention that his rice did not taste right and he didn't like it. She offered to get him something else, but he chose to eat the rest of the bowl except the rice. She didn't do anything wrong but her general attitude was not friendly or welcoming and she seemed like she didn't want to be there. On the good side my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and loved it! The location is also great with a good view of the ocean/boardwalk, and fun games to play while waiting for food such as foosball and giant connect 4. I give this experience 2 stars; if it weren't for the prime location and atmosphere it would get 1 star.

Place is so cute! Love the paintings on the wall! They've the best happy hour daily at the oceanfront! Food and drinks are on point!!! The servers are sweethearts and super helpful!

It took them more than an hour to deliver our food, and after that, the avocado was pretty old, and our biscuits were burnt.

Great little place on 16th and the boardwalk. Taco Tuesday -$3 - great drinks and happy hour prices. Would recommend.

She appeared more interested in getting back to her phone than engaging with customers. When I asked for a different bottle because the one I received had an unusual mark on it, she seemed annoyed by my request. I had recently experienced food poisoning from Taco Bell, so I was simply being cautious about my health. I don't think that concern was treated with understanding. Jennifer also appeared to be annoyed when I mentioned to another customer that I was waiting for her to hand me some lids. I wasn't trying to be rude or disrespectful I was simply explaining why I was waiting. Her reaction and facial expressions made me feel like she assumed I was being negative, which was frustrating. Throughout the interaction, her facial expressions came across as annoyed and unwelcoming. Overall, the interaction didn't feel welcoming. I can't speak about the male employee as much because when I did have an interaction with him previously he was helpful for the most part, but based on my experiences, I believe the cashiers could improve their friendliness, patience, and customer service. Customers should feel comfortable asking questions or expressing concerns without feeling like they are inconveniencing the staff.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it ended up being one of those meals where everything just hit. First off, those margaritas are no joke. Massive, flavorful, and strong in the best way. Bonus: they do $2 off specialty margs on Mondays, which is dangerous knowledge now that I have it. I went with the Coco Loco Margarita (1800 coconut tequila, coconut milk, triple sec, and sweetened flaked coconut), and WOW. It was creamy, refreshing, and honestly tasted like a tropical vacation. My friends ordered the House Marg, Peach Sangria Marg and the Spicy Pineapple & Cilantro Marg, all were just as impressive. The spicy one had a great kick without being overwhelming, and the peach option was super smooth and fruity. Before we even ordered, the complimentary chips, salsa, and that famous white sauce came out ... and let me tell you, that white sauce is to die for. I could've eaten that all night. For my dinner, I had the asada enchiladas, and I'm still thinking about them. Perfectly cooked grilled steak laid over cheesy enchiladas with verde sauce, plus rice and black beans. I loved that the steak was on top because once I got full, I could still pick at the protein (elite move). My friends got arroz con pollo, carne asada tacos, and the wildest dish on the table ... the El Molcajete. It came out sizzling in a stone bowl loaded with shrimp, beef, chicken, chorizo, cactus, and all the fixings. We all shared bites and it was unreal. We ended the night with the staff singing happy birthday and completely embarrassing my friend with a sombrero and a candle in his shot. Incredible. Definitely will be coming back, especially for that margarita deal and birthdays!

Getting there soon after they opened, they weren't busy, but by the time I left, there were many more inside eating. Service was very helpful and friendly from the lady working the front. She explained the menu and gave some good information on the questions I had. I opted for a blackened shrimp taco and a their taco called "The Truth" as well as a small side of their beer battered fries. The fries were done first and she brought them out to me while they were piping hot. The looked and smelled amazing and they were really long! The flavor was great! I dipped them in ketchup, which was decent, but dipping them in their habanero creamy sauce was my preference. Next up were the tacos - They looked quite nice, with fresh tomato and slaw on them. The shrimp taco was my first and it was loaded with shrimp! For the price, this is a really good deal! The batter on the Truth taco's fish was fresh and pretty good, making that taco really good as well. Overall - Definitely really good food! I'd most definitely return!

The place was bigger than we expected roomy inside and a nice outdoor patio area to sit. The fish and shrimp tacos were ok, it was not increíble. The sauce on the tacos gave the fish and shrimp a needed extra boost of flavor. Both shrimp and fish were seasoned by very lightly, layered under shredded lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Not bad tacos, but the best either. They are just fine. The queso was good, but my husband and I did feel as it was a small portion of queso for $5-6 for mostly chips and a small amount of queso.
