Great pancakes!…read more Breakfast here was a win. I ordered nothing but pancakes. Buttermilk pancakes and Chocolate Chip pancakes. So so good. They were fluffy, smokin' hot, and beautifully plated. These pancakes are huge too. The plate of pancakes come as a stack of 3. I had a single chocolate chip and added one of the buttermilk pancakes to it and that was still plenty. For a place that prides itself on making their own dressings, etc., you'd think they could've figured out how to cook chicken in an oil that they use for everything else. Perhaps if they'd communicated better about my intolerance instead of not thinking about it until immediately when my food was ready (which was quite a while after we ordered), they could've found someone in the restaurant who was capable of making non-vegetarian food with something other than soy spray, but I may be giving them too much credit. They also didn't offer us a high chair for our toddler, which was strange. He wound up doing fine in the booth, which was for the best because a high chair probably wouldn't have fit well where we were sitting anyway. The waitress was apologetic and nice about my food screw up and offered to make me something else, but there wasn't much that could be done given that apparently no one in the restaurant knows how to cook meat without soy spray, plus we'd already waited quite a while for our food. The beet salad was tasty, as was the bread with honey butter and the Chai latte, but I would've left feeling more full if I could've added meat to my salad.

We reserved one of the VIP cabanas and it was ideal for a group. We had our own dedicated server who was incredibly attentive all night, and there were 2 TV's inside the cabana so we didn't miss a minute of the MLB Playoffs on September 30th. So much room to move around and actually have conversations with everyone -- not cramped at all. Best part: we got to bring our dog Ellie to celebrate with us. OHSO Gilbert is super dog-friendly and they even brought Ellie water and a homemade dog treat for the patio. We ordered just about every appetizer on the menu -- the Buffalo Chicken Dip, the potstickers, all of it -- and we really liked them. We ordered dinners and dessert as well and were pleased with all of it. And for a retirement party on a budget, it was very inexpensive. We were able to host an our group, have our own space, and still come in under our retirement celebration budget. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.

I absolutely love this place! There burrito prices are very reasonable and you can add sour cream, guacamole, cheese etc for just 25 cents more. And they have complimentary chips and salsa while you wait for your order. I always like finding "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurants because of there authentic taste and reasonable prices...this place has all that without looking like a "hole in the wall". Before describing this experience, I want to recognize the Los Favoritos location near Power and Ray in Gilbert. That location consistently demonstrates the kind of respectful and professional customer service that every Los Favoritos location should model. Unfortunately, my experience at the Los Favoritos located at 904 N. McQueen Road, Suite 101, in Gilbert was very different. We ordered four customized burritos, but the cashier did not repeat the order back to confirm the details. This was a clear coaching opportunity. While my friend was reviewing the order, she realized that three of the four burritos had been prepared incorrectly. She brought the issue to the employees' attention, and they corrected those items right away. However, even after those corrections, two of the orders were still incorrect. As a result, I had to return my husband's burrito to have it remade. When I brought this issue to the employees' attention, I felt that I experienced backlash and retaliation, which made me feel unsafe as a customer. Mistakes can happen, especially with customized orders. What was unacceptable was how the situation was handled afterward. The employee was rude and dismissive, and I experienced what I perceived as retaliatory behavior during the interaction. I felt unsafe, extremely uncomfortable, and physically sick to my stomach. I was also charged $2.72 to top off my drink, even though I have normally been charged approximately $1.00. This was not simply an issue involving an incorrect burrito. It was a serious customer-service and leadership failure. Customers should be treated respectfully, orders should be confirmed when necessary, and mistakes should be corrected professionally without making the customer feel intimidated or unsafe. I am requesting a formal apology and response from the owner or senior management. I am also considering submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I hope leadership will visit the Power and Ray location to observe what respectful, professional customer service looks like and use that example to coach the McQueen team. I will share an honest account of this experience through the appropriate review channels. If management acknowledges what happened, provides a formal apology, and demonstrates that corrective action has been taken, I am willing to reconsider this rating. Until then, my rating remains one star.

It's a really nice location with plenty of seating, plus a patio that will be perfect once it finally cools off in AZ! Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the queso, which wasn't quite what we expected. It's more like their jalapeño cream cheese sauce rather than a traditional queso, so just something to keep in mind if you're expecting the usual cheesy dip. Everything else was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we had plenty of leftovers to take home.
