Vegetarian Burrito
Diele K.

My Yelp Bestie Chelsey H. had suggested us trying a new place for a quick bite to eat. This establishment is a very casual place where you place your order up front and they bring it to you with self-serve beverages. The staff up front is friendly, but I prefer table service. Overall, it's not terribly priced but I didn't find anything that stood out about my vegetarian burrito. I wouldn't make an effort to return, but I also wouldn't avoid it.

Delicious and huge tacos!

I love how unpretentious Talo's is. It's on the same stretch of road as a few chains, but it's clear that a ton of locals and Latinos come here to eat. The place is set up and it feels like a relaxed fast food eatery. It's big, clean, and comfortable. The cashier was super nice and gave me massive bottles of tasty hot sauce and salsa verde with my food. Don't expect a restaurant style experience here! I only had their pollo asado and their adobado tacos and both were very tasty. They seemed a bit pricey initially but once I received them I realized why: they're HUGE. Probably twice the real estate of a smaller street taco. If anyone's thinking of tacos and looking to go to a big chain, BRING THEM HERE! It's a small business and you can see how hard the guys here work. And they make tasty tacos too. I tried their

The pic is of a half eaten burrito! So much food, half eaten and full! Talos is ALWAYS accurate with orders, never skimpy on portions, and provides EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! A neighborhood favorite Thank you for bringing authentic food with a smile!

Great food, prices, and friendley staff! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

First time here. Ordered a taco/tostada combo and a drink. Prices comparable to Filiberto's. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Nice, spacious place, decorated beautifully. Good location too, as it is on my way home. I will definitely return!

So called burrito (more like taquito) with 90% egg
Thomas R.

This place use to be great but recently it hasn't been as good. Got two breakfast burritos ($7.65 and $11.15) and the one pictured is with bacon and chorizo which was an additional charge ($3.50). Mostly, just egg with very little meat and extremely small (looks like a taquito). I understand food prices have increased but charging over $11 for a taquito with 90% egg does not add up. Will not be coming back.

First time here, not too many choices for an early morning breakfast. They open at 6:00 a.m. Had the chorizo, egg, potato and cheese breakfast burrito. Very large meal, having half for lunch. Tortilla was fresh, burrito was tasty. Place is clean and not a chain. Still like the breakfast chorizo at Burrito Shack better, but there is good food here. They have some interesting combination plates I will be trying soon.

highway robbery !!! avoid !!!! beverly hills prices for poverty food ingredients 20.00 for 1 burrito we are talking rice and beans the most basic cheapest food ingredients on the planet will avoid this place entirely after being a loyal customer since the opening to be price gouged on rice and beans is just plain greed. would rather eat across the street at chipotle or filbertos then be price raped by these greedy owners. if you value your hard earned money the trade value proposition this place offers us abysmal. would rather see them go out of business just on general principle CAFE RIO IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET IN FRYS PLAZA , CHIPOTLE ACROSS THE STREET AND FILBERTOS RIGHT DOWN THE BLOCK AVOID TALOS UNLESS YOU ENJOY THROWING MONEY OUT THE WINDOW

If you like spicy sauce, their red taco sauce is the best! The beans here are seasoned so we'll, and the green chili is amazing!

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. Honestly, we both left very impressed as all the food was seasoned well and cooked beautifully. Who says diner food can't be done well?! Nana Dee's has set the standard for diner food!

Delicious and plentiful food, recommended by Valerie - difficult to get out of our seats to close out and get back on the road, truth be told. I had the burrito special (ginormous and the salsa on the side with hash browns was excellent); my two colleagues had Ultimate Lumberjacks that did not disappoint. Lovely, well-kept and bright American Diner experience with vibrant decor to keep your eyes busy while you have a short wait for your food. Valerie was there every step of the way to ensure our needs were met and our questions were answered. First Class experience - thank you

We had to wait a bit to get seated. I decided to try their biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 eggs over easy. The bacon was kinda chewy with unrendered fat which was a turnoff. Even bigger disappointment was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted so odd and off putting and the biscuits were huge but very dry and fell apart. Had a bite of hubby's French toast and it was the worst I've ever had. If they weren't so busy I probably would have mentioned something to the server but really wasn't in the mood. Still love the theme of this restaurant but the food was a major letdown today. Service was not the greatest probably due to how busy it was.

Since 2016, this non-profit diner has been directly supporting homebound cancer patients through sponsored meals. The menu is deep, and the food is incredible! And honestly, I feel confident with all of their options. The place was packed and everyone looked satisfied. I ordered the chilaquiles which were a delightful offering of crispy tortilla chips covered in earthy red chili, topped with a velvety poached egg, on a bed of hearty pinto beans that had a hint of cumin, all which was drizzled with a rich crema and crumbled queso fresco. My dad had the Rueben and he said it was in his top-three he's ever had! Even during the Saturday brunch rush we were seated promptly, the kitchen was swift and our waitress was kindly attentive to our needs. We will definitely be adding this fine establishment to our short list, and can see why this is a community staple.

We finally decided to try the diner, and oh my goodness--this is no substandard food kitchen. This is top-notch food at reasonable prices and for a great cause. You can't go wrong! We arrived on a Sunday at their new location, which is super nice, VW bus and all. :) While relatively small, it is many times larger than their old location around the corner. You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. My wife ordered the CSA Scramble: Farm-fresh veggies from Crooked Sky Farms CSA basket scrambled with three eggs, served with fruit, sliced tomato, and 9-grain toast. Needless to say, we were both impressed. The Camper was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing. The gravy was just special, and there was so much food, I took some home. My wife's dish was fresh and perfect for what she was looking for. Do consider donating to this worthy cause. We chose to, and you can even donate right on your bill so that it goes right on your credit card if you so choose. But even if you just pay for your meal, you are helping out, which is so great about eating at this place. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see the friendly people at The Joy Bus Diner!

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
