The food is very good and made fresh. The service is very good -- always a smile or they ask how you are. The vibe is good because of the people working there. They are quick! It's a simple-ish Mexican food menu. I order the chicken tacos with whole beans and cheese. SO GOOD!!!!!! They give hot sauce (verde y rojo) and, if you ask, they will give you pickled carrots/onions/jalapeños in a bag for no charge! Tacos Michoacan on Roscoe Blvd, across from Anheuser-Busch is a typical lunch for me 1-2 times a month. Affordable too!!! I pay around $7 for 2 tacos. They even throw in a few corn chips. read more

Had to send my order back. And I was over charged because they took the wrong order down. Unaware that their breakfast burrito came with rice and beans inside, I asked for a breakfast burrito on a plate so that I got both sides as well. The young lady that took my order, cut me off while I was ordering and pointing at the wall as she assumed I was talking about. She seems polite but needs to slow it down and be more polite. I got my burrito and they literally put only the rice, beans, asada with scrambled egg. There was no salsa, potato's, no cheese. NO EFFORT. Sorry but not one to leave bad reviews. I was not satisfied with the customer service, they did quality was mediocre, and I feel I was over charged, burritos Show $10. Not sure how much a code is but my final bill was over $15. So for those 3 reasons, -3 stars. read more

Good food! If I was driving by I'd go again probably wouldn't go out of my way to go here but the food was definitely good. The chips were the first thing we ate and they tasted like old fryer oil but that was not indicative of the rest of the meal. The asada was delish and the pastor was even better than that! Solid 4 stars Al pastor was one of the best my Mexican born husband has ever had in the US. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Bland food. Burritos come with no cheese or sour cream and the lady made it so difficult to put add ons. I ordered tacos de cabeza and I received big chunks of meat on my tacos. They didn't even bother to cut the meat like a taco! It was chunks as if it were caldo de res. The place inside is also disgusting. Please don't go here. We asked the lady for some extra paper plates and she almost charged us for them. This place should be open. I will call the food inspection department on this place. read more

This is the local neighborhood taco/burrito place. The food is great and portions are wonderful. All in all, it's a very good place to sit in or take out your craving for Shrimp cocktail, Asada Taco's, Burrito's De Asada, Fried Fish, and much more! The customer service is decent, but I think the service is probably better to those to speak Spanish. In addition, they are a little stingy with the Chili Sauce. They use to have it were you could serve yourself, as in other places similar to this one, but this one makes you ask for it. It's a pet peeve of mine. read more

I don't know why this place has good reviews. It did NOT live up to what people were saying. I got the "nacho fries," which I've usually seen as carne asada fries. Moving up from San Diego, I was on the quest to find the best carne asada fries in the valley. This place isn't it. When it came, the fries looked promising, being a thicker cut, but all the toppings were not good. First, they don't even give guac. It's some kinda of blended green sauce that has avocado I think. Where's the chunky guac?! The cheese and sour cream kind of tasted off too. Lastly, the meat was SOOOO chewy. Carne asada is supposed to have a nice flavor, but this tasted like all fat. I couldn't even finish it all when I usually do. Also, I asked for the hottest hot sauce to put on top and it wasn't even that hot. This is not the place to go. read more

For what it is, a hoke in the wall taco joint, this place is great. Good prices. Friendly service. And Absolutely delicious food. My Kengua tacos were flavorful, juicy, and tender. Of my companions chicken tacos, she said "these are the best I have ever had". Menudo served only on Sabado y Domingo. A hsnful of chips comes with every order. Only downside is the poor selection of items in the salsa bar. For instance, no pico de gaio for the chips. However, the marinated carrors were so good that it more than made up for it If you are in the neighborhood, this place makes for a great snack, or a fantastic casual meal. Cheers. read more

Ok people, I know the Valley has a ton of taco/burrito places, but in my opinion this place is one of the best and more consistent places around. I have been here several time since it is on my way work/home/business/etc. The prices have remained competitive in todays market, the food and quality have remained that same and the service is great. I have tried different meats and they all have distinct flavors which is what I look for as many places have different meat that taste the same. I have recommended this place and my they have thanked me. Their salsas are also great, they are spicy but not enough to overwhelm the food, but enough to add that pop to the food. I will for sure come back and recommend this location. read more

I worked across the street at Budweiser for 15 years and this used to be my go to spot for tacos and burritos. A few years ago they switched/changed the carne asada meat and the food is now garbage. I stopped in here yesterday 6/24 around 3:00pm hoping they went back to the good food I was used to but what a waste of money. 5 tacos and a burrito to go. The carne asada was more like greasy ground beef and I didn't even touch my burrito. Horrible, Horrible and I mean Horrible food. I am truly sorry but I will never go back. If you stop in, ask to see a sample of the carne asada meat before you buy. I am so disappointed. read more

If you like hole in a wall type restaurant, this is it!! Staff is always very friendly, often times the cashier is a lady who's English is not the best but she always does her best to answer my silly questions. It's always frequented by Latino clients so that tells me it's authentic. Love their tacos, specially their pastor. It's not unusual for me to get 60-80 tacos for office for lunch. Also pricing is very reasonable, highly recommended. read more

Went to try this place out just because me and my girl was craving for carne Asada fries. Upon ordering I asked for SOUR CREAM ON THE SIDE, NO CILANTRO. I get a total opposite of what I had ordered. I even told the lady at the register that I ask for no cilantro and sour cream on the side. All I get was "I'm sorry" didn't even bother re-doing our order. To top it off, since we had no choice but to eat it since it was $10.75, we found hair I showed it to them and just walked out. read more

I'm so grossed out. My first time at this location and the food tasted good. I ordered carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with something extra....a caterpillar! Walked in asked for 3 tacos asked if they can cool meat a little more and they said "No se puede"(we can't do that) I asked why? Male cashier said "El Manejador no lo permite" (Manager doesn't allow it) I asked if they can chop the meat into smaller pieces and same response. I still went ahead and bought 3 tacos and tacos don't look appealing at all. I don't understand why couldn't they cook meat more. If this really is a Manager restriction it's really dumb and if not then Manager needs to set his employees straight for being lazy! read more

i just stufffed my face with some nacho fries (carne asada fries) omg. that thing was a big portion. It fries, carne asada, cheese, tomato, cilantro & beans. would have asked them to hold the beans if i knew they included it. bro got the carne asada burrito. he said it was good. decent size & pretty cheap, $4.75 I believe? There's nothing like coming to a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place and while I wait for my take-out I get to watch an over the top performance of the latest telanovela. LOL I've been coming here for nacho fries. But their wet burritos are awesome too. I've had their pastor and carne asada. I interchange the meat on the fries and burrito because the meat is good on either or. If you don't like it spicy (my mom doesn't like it spicy), don't ask for everything. Ask for the heat on the side, but I like the burn. LOL I think they charge for credit cards because when she gives me my total for both it's always $14.99 and then when I hand her my credit card she says it's $15 plus change. No big deal but I just gotta bring cash. Yes, I never remember! LOL It's never busy when I go but it's always at night between 8pm-9pm. The parking lot is small but there is street parking nearby. Although I haven't had to use the street parking yet. Thank God! LOL I haven't eaten at the restaurant because I always get it to go, but the cashier is friendly and the food is pretty quick. Never trust a place that says they have "guacamole" but they don't have avocado..like wtf how? But anywho, asada full of fat and gristle. And the chicken is just boiled. In my opinion, it's pretty hard to mess up tacos..especially at a michoacan place but hey, they managed to figure it out. I'll throw in and extra star for service. It was OK. Not exactly nice or welcoming but I can't say they were rude either. read more

I've been here twice in the past two days. First time I ordered two burritos and when I received my order they only gave me one so I had to order another burrito and wait again. The second time in I ordered two 3 taco combination plates with a water and a soda and when my order was ready I was only charged for 2 tacos the water and soda. I then explained to them that I ordered two 3 taco combination plates with the two beverages and they told me otherwise. So I placed another order for 2 more tacos and an order of rice and beans. I pay, go home and am eating my taco and pull a long hair out of my mouth in disgust. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else please read more

yesterday I went to this place are used to love their taco signs to love their food. I have been back a couple of times already, and the cashier her name is.Alma she's been really rude and yesterday I went to get some tacos and burritos. I still had 20 minutes before they close and she was telling me like snapping your fingers telling me hurry up hurry up I am closing hurry up hurry up she was definitely really rude and I guess she doesn't like her job anymore because she's rude to people. She sees not happy in her job she shouldn't be telling customers to hurry up and order so definitely I won't be coming back to this place anymore. Unfortunately she lost a customer yesterday that we used go get Taco to this place I'm giving it a bad review so she could learn how to get customer service and know that customers come first then her attitude she doesn't like her job man quit look for another job and hopefully the owners look at this review and give her a lecture and train her how to trid the customers read more

First time trying out this place and I gotta say they have some pretty good tacos. I tried an order of their 3 taco plate with Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas. The Meat was very well marinated and the flavor came out pretty good. Since I ordered the plate it came with Rice Beans and a small side of salad. I think the combo ended up costing around $8 Their beans were really good. The only problem with this place is the small parking lot and the strong smell outside coming from the Budweiser factory. read more

I may be a gringo and not know what I am talking about when it comes to tacos, but these are some of the best "authentic" tacos, I have had in LA. Chicken and steak were amazing, and I think I got 3 tacos for $5.00. Just a working class place to get lunch.... Simple, quite, clean and tasty. Customer service----All smiles read more

My wife and I ordered 2 breakfast burritos and the green chilaquiles. She got the Deluxe burrito and I got the chorizo. We bring them home and open up the bag and these things are MASSIVE! In the best way! We begin taking bites and are both amazed. Me a little bit more. I really really enjoyed this burrito. Maybe because it has rice instead of potatoes, I'm not sure, but it was delicious. My wife also really enjoyed hers; she gave it a 7.5 out of 10. I give my burrito a 9/10. Our chilaquiles were a whole other story and flavor profile. The carne asada that came with it was life changing. Whatever seasoning they used on tha carne asada is perfect. My wife was deeply impressed. The sauce, the chips, the eggs, beans and rice were all very very good as well. All complimented each other very well. If you're ever in the van Nuys area, please stop here for breakfast, you won't regret it!

To get the most value, if you order one of the burritos, you can easily split it into two meals because they're pretty big. Got the chicken fajita burrito and had half for lunch yesterday and today. The horchata here is something special. It's thicker and creamier than your average horchata and packs a cinnamon punch. The only knock on this place is the parking situation. There's limited parking relative to the size of the establishment. You may have to find street parking around the park nearby. But don't let something like that discourage you from checking this place out. This place is worth it. I drive up to the Valley from the South Bay just to visit this restaurant.
