Doesn't get much better than quick delicious Mexican food. Tacos Ensenada is the go to spot with a variety of tacos , tortas , burritos and marisco based food. I always get the large cocktail de camarón and a mixed burrito of Shrimp and fried fish strips. Also the Tuesday special are $.99 fish tacos and I know most places don't deliver but they are the exception . They give you the best taco every time single time , be prepared to wait since most people come in order 10-20 tacos at a time. read more

Whack!! So Yelp notified me of a brand new Mexican joint where I can get my fish tacos on and I was very excited. This is their 3rd location so I figured they must be doing something right? Wrong! I ordered the fish taco combo and proceeded to head towards to what I thought was a salsa bar... NOPE! No hay bar de salsa. No homemade salsa, just fire in a bottle at the table. Hrmmm this is not looking good. When my order arrived I went straight for the rice because I love me some Mexican rice -_- Nope! It was extremely bland with no seasoning. The beans were a salt bomb.....and the fish tacos???? They were actually just ok. They were better than your average gringo fish taco but certainly nothing to write home about. The batter was meh. This is part of the all star chain in Duarte and Los Angeles famous for the 99 cent tacos, ceviche, AND along lines. I've had tacos and burritos from here and the food and service are consistent with the well established Duarte branch. Tacos come with the normal fixings (pico, cabbage, sour cream). I like the fish and potato tacos best. This is a great place for Mexican food, however it is dangerous for me that it is located across the street from my gym. Really derailing my plans for a smoking summer bod. Expect to wait in a long line for taco Tuesday/Thursday deals. My only woe is this is a very small space for the high volume of customers they receive. Not much standing or sitting room inside or outside. The food is cheap, flavorful and comes out quickly if you are willing to wait it out in the line (or order ahead). I recently moved to the neighborhood and just noticed this place today. As I'm always in the mood for tacos, I stopped in. I got 2 asada and 2 fish tacos, and they were delicious!!! Everything tasted really fresh. Even the carne asada, which you know, can tend to sit out for a while, send like it was grilled up fresh for me. They have specials throughout the week, like i believe 99cent fish tacos on Tuesdays. I will definitely be back for those! It was also nice and cool inside, which was really nice! When I first ordered my food, I noticed something very important: They didn't have any salsa on the side bar! Just pickled onions, limes, and peppers. My order for the day was Carne Asada Fries. For about 7 bucks and tax, you get a good helping of carne asada fries. At first glance, it looked pretty good and worth the price. The guac, sour cream, and beans are a good mix with the fries. If I were to say each ingredient is good alone, I would say no, but the mess of food which is Carne Asada Fries makes it edible. The fries were good, but not the most exciting. Overall, it was generic. Not too much in terms of flavor, but it was enjoyable to eat. I've been passing by this place for over a year and always told myself that I'll stop by. I am so happy that I did cause now I'm coming here all the time. I picked up a taco plate with steak, chicken, and pulled pork. The taco's were amazing but what was the best part is the sauce. You can ask for their spiciest sauce and it really has a kick. So I was passing through and needed to get groceries at the super king in this plaza, and I noticed the taco restaurant in the same plaza and I hadn't eaten all ya and ya girl can't say no to tacos- so I did the 2 birds, 1 stone trick. Noticed it was a seafood place too- so I got the fish ceviche tostada and the fish taco, thinking that if I was still hungry, I could get more or check out another nearby taco place if I was feeling adventurous. Holy crap- the fish ceviche tostada was HUGE- but more importantly it was DELICIOUS. a mountain of gratuitous juicy white fish and onions and tomato topped with avocado, perfectly marinated and flavorful on a crunchy disc. The mountain of wet ingredients was actually at a very heavy fish to tostada ratio, but holy shit THAT VALUE. I feel like they packed on more than 2 tacos worth of fish ceviche on my tostada, but it's actually cheaper than 2 regular tacos so freakin bomb. And that fish taco- light, crispy, flavorful, and delicious. And their crema sauce is nice and thick here (twss). And another nice thing I noticed here was their limes were extremely juicy. (Ever been to a place where the lime wedges are dryer than SoCal itself?? Hate that! Not here doe.) And the icing on top- it happened to be their taco deal day- THURSDAY TACOS ARE $1!! - so when I realized this, I had to visit the cute cashier ladies again. I got the asada and al pastor. I was hungry after school and this place popped up on my search AND it was taco tuesday! They offer 99cent fish tacos on Tuesdays, yum. I came here around 4:30pm and it was pretty busy. There was a line of about 4-5 people in front of me (and quite a few people waiting for their food) but it moved quickly. I ordered 4 fish tacos and 1 aguachiles tostada to-go. The food came out pretty fast considering how many people were waiting. I think I waited 10 min or less. Be warned, its a pretty small space so it can get pretty cramped. They had chiles, lemon, and radish on hand and ready to go. This was one of the things I appreciated the most because at my usual fish taco place, they almost never have chiles and often times even the limes require a refill. The fish tacos were delicious, I would say they're as good as Baja Cali, which is my usual spot. The aguachiles however, were not as good. The shrimp tasted fresh but I did not appreciate the seasoning as much. They use a red sauce instead of green, which is what I typically prefer. It wasn't bad by any means just not what I usually like. Overall, this is a solid place to get some food and I'm sure their other menu items are good too. I got a little bit of everything, fries to snack on to get home which were awesome, carne asada tacos which were incredible 5 out of 5, fish tacos are really good I'd say solid 4.5 out of 5 and one of the best burritos I've ever had the CARNE ASADA BURRITO!!
