    Fish Taco Combo
    Jenny T.

We were in the mood for Mexican seafood and since we pass by this place often, we decided to finally check it out. We arrived a little later at night on a Saturday night and there were only a couple people ahead of us already waiting for their orders. At the time that we went, they had a cash only sign though it seems like it depends on the day (not sure what factors it), so just in case, bring some cash. We ordered the Fish Taco Combo #2 ($10.99) and the Nachos con Carne ($11.99). It was a decent wait time for our food. They have a counter on the side where you can also get some limes, pickled onions, and jalapenos. They will give you your sauces on from their side. They did forget to give us our drink for the combo when they handed us our order, so that was a bummer. Beans and rice seemed a little bit bland and could use a bit more seasoning. The tacos were pretty good though. They do have a deal on Wednesdays I believe? So it might be better to get the fish tacos on those days. The carne asada was also well seasoned and I think I liked those more than the fish tacos. It's a nice little shop for some quick Mexican food. They do have an extensive menu but honestly I'm good with just their fish tacos and carne asada, they're pretty solid. Not sure how their sushi is working out for them.

    Menu as of 9/2025.

Tacos Ensenada is one of my favorite spots for FISH TACOS. I been to a few of their locations and the fish tacos are consistently good across the board. Am not fan of the rest of their menu, because frankly it's not that good. Stick to the fish tacos and you won't be disappointed. Location: a stand on Valley Blvd with some outside seating. Service is efficient and friendly. Good spacious parking lot. Credit and cash taken. BRING CASH, because they charge a weird fee on credit cards.

Their taco Tuesday and Thursday is the best in town. Their taco is well larger than many other places. Tastes are excellent. Line can be long sometimes, but worth the wait every time.

Authentic little shack with a few tables outside for a quick sit down eat and go. The sevice is just a walk up order window and another one for pickup. Prices are comparably average around the SGV. I went on Thursday so they have a special promo for their meat tacos (asada, pastor, chicken and carnitas) buy one for $3.39 and get the second one for free. You must order by increments of 2,4,6,8....even numbers only for the special price. My go-to-order for any first time taco spot is always two asadas and two pastors. They were good sized street tacos filled with the meat, pico de gallo and their house salsa. They also have a side cart with grilled jalapeños, sliced red onions and limes for your liking. Both marinated meats were tasty and juicy. I would definitely come back again to try some other stuff on the menu. They have menudo and sushi as options as well....very intrigued to give it a try!

Delicious and generous portions. Side bar of free peppers and onions snd lemon was a nice surprise. The green chili sauce was delicious. A def recommend and return for me. The huge menu was intimidating and I ended up ordering a platter for $12.99. Water was on the pricey side. Also a nice selection of hot sauces.

Chorizo con huevo burrito hit the spot for breakfast.

Just drop my car at the shop walking on Valley decided to treat myself to chorizo con huevos burrito. The gentleman was very friendly and was very welcoming. Plus it's across the street to my barber. The location is awesome with plenty of parking with only outside seating looking into Valley Blvd. As the burrito yummy and good portion

Saw a picture of a sign that says 99 cents tacos all week except Tuesday. Is this still happening (9/11/2020)?

I passed by there Mon. I believe so. The sign is still there.

What is their phone number??? I don't see it posted anywhere.

With the price tag of $4 per taco, there were good amount of meat in the taco which made it very satisfying. Unfortunately, I've had better carnitas elsewhere, some with better flavors and some with better texture (crunch from fats). The burnt ends and the pork skins would be better if it wasn't as salty. Why the 5 stars you ask? This grab and go place probably don't have the best carnitas in my book but the service that day from the cashier is above and beyond- friendly, accommodating, the service that you would kick yourself if you don't tip him!

I ordered the burnt ends taco and the taco mixto. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. I'm big fan of the tacos here. Also, still a great price, despite being in a brick and mortar. There's a lot allocated to the strip mall this place is located at and parking could get pretty tight.

We got the adobada tacos that were DELICIOUS! I want more! But they're just sooooo expensive I'm not sure if we will be back. We also had an agua de horchata that was delicious and an asada torta that was good. The torta was tasty but didn't come with beans, jalapeños or tomato. Seems like they skimped on the tortas toppings even with the torta being $13! Good food but expensive.

Their salsa is medium to spicy level for me; not meant for mild spicy eaters. Maybe I'm just too cheap and have access to alot more in East LA and such. We were expecting larger size tacos, not street taco size for their price. We found this place 6/2025 when a friend raved about their SD location and thought their cabeza and lengua were worth it. Then we noticed there is a location in East LA. I love both cabeza and lengua, but lengua being my favorite taco or burrito protein. I can see how people can love this place for its higher quality tacos. Overall, not for us unless I am really craving their corn tortilla and dine-in? Doesn't mean it's not worth trying, especially for those who like higher end/quality tacos. Staff took down our orders for dine-in. We got tacos: - $4.15 Birra Taco. - $4.15 Suadero (beef) Taco. - $6.15 Lengua Taco - $3.95 Vegetarian/Cactus Taco comes with beans too but I asked for no beans. Tacos comes with cucumber and limes. QR Code table scan for the menu. Staff will take your offer. There's a water station, and 2 restroom. Street and back lot parking. Staff is nice and willing to explain more. It seems like Tijuanazo tries to offer higher end/higher quality tacos like Evil Cooks (modern/fusion). Both of which I feel that burritos might be more worth getting? Completely different styles but apparently both priced way higher than local competitors.

For for first timers, I'd recommend ordering the Villa's Trio which is what I got. Those come with the Ranchera Asada quesotaco as well as the Papas con Chorizo and Black Bean con Pollo quesotacos which are a trio exclusive. All the tacos were meaty, flavorful, and crispy. You honestly don't even need the side sauces since the tacos are already flavorful on their own. Great quality. I also got the Watermelon Agua Fresca which was refreshing, tasty, and sweet. Goes well with the tacos. I also got the Jamaica Agua Fresca, but that one was a bit too tart for my liking. The line can get long, so I would prepare to wait for up to an hour on weekends. There's ample free parking at the grocery store lot nearby. For seating and tables, it's limited and competitive. You just have to get lucky if a spot clears up as soon as you get your food. I also like how the restaurant handles crowd control. They allow a couple of people at a time to go inside, order, and get their condiments. You wait outside until they call you for your food. I like that it didn't feel crowded while I was getting my condiments. I highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be coming back.
