a food truck at night

Cool little spot. We were up late and just wanted something quick and tasty. The food hit the spot. The beans were so creamy and the food was authentic. Definitely try them out. Also check out the bakery next door.

It was sooooo good!!! Don't go anywhere else. Of your craving authentic Mexican tacos! Huge servings also and great price!! Will return

Now with tortas! And hours

This is ok and reasonably priced. I suppose I should have been weary of the price vs quality... good food for the price, location, fast service, and convenience. El pastor was the better compared to the Carne asada. The Carne asada flavor was OK, but the quality of the meat I didn't care for. It had more cartilagenous texture and trimmings. Basic beans and rice. The Pico de gallo was fresh and tasty though. Probably won't come back, but happy we tried it.

I like the food, however they always charge extra for salsa and NEVER fill it all the way up, it's always half or even a little less then half. Super annoying!

2 al pastor and 2 asada tacos. Delicious!

We were driving through Eureka on the 101 and found this truly amazing taco truck located on the corner of Washington St. and the 101. We had Al Pastor, asada and tripas tacos. WOW!!! Fantastic. While we waited for our order, we went inside the humble Panaderia next to the taco truck and got tamales de elote (sweet corn tamales) and conchas (sweet bread). We highly recommend folks to stop by and trys this place. If they are not at that location, call and ask where they are located, it is totally worth it. Happy Taco Tasting!

Best al pastor I've had in Humboldt yet. Their chicken could be better though. Tacos are delicious and burritos are big. They also have some cool fruit and corn . Fast and good customer service. Hopefully they stick around. Its Humboldt so five stars for doing it right.

super tacos with carne asada...so good!

This is the BEST place to get real, super fresh, and delicious tacos. I have had their grilled chicken tacos, grilled chicken quesadilla, super burrito with and without the tortilla, and the carne asada super tacos. Everything is bomb. Plus the ladies that work there are really friendly.

This is a little hidden gem! The meat is well seasoned, giving it a unique taste. The employees are really nice too!

Best tacos I've had in Humboldt. When you see tongue on the menu, you know it will be a good taco!

We LOVE Patino's! My daughter likes the California burrito, but with rice and beans instead of meat…read moreand it's always perfect for her. I mostly get the veggie tacos and they are so good. My husband has ordered a ton of stuff off the menu and enjoyed it all. The guacamole and the salsas are all good and the lettuce is always crunchy and fresh. Good rice and beans, too. The woman who usually takes our order is very nice and remembers us. If I forget to ask for extra salsa verde on my tacos, she will always ask if I want some. Really good customer service. Prices are unbeatable for the quality of food you get and I can feed my family without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

A Chorizo Revelation at Patino's: My First Food Truck Adventure…read more You ever have one of those hunger pangs that sneak up on you like a surprise attack? That was me, driving home, stomach making questionable noises, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw it--Patino's Mexican Food. A little food truck, parked like a hidden gem, just waiting to be discovered. Now, here's the thing: I had never stopped at a food truck before. Not once. But something about this one--maybe it was fate, maybe it was hunger-induced bravery--made me pull over. "Alright, let's do this." I walked up, scanned the menu, and like any self-respecting fan of Mexican food, I zeroed in on my personal favorite: chorizo street tacos. Three of them. Because one? Not enough. Two? A warm-up. Three? Now we're talking. They handed me a pager, and within 10 minutes--before I could even contemplate my life choices--I had my hands on a cup of homemade horchata (which, let's be honest, is like the nectar of the gods) and my three glorious tacos. Now, I had to document this moment properly...

2 of 2 Yelp reviews…read more Quality/Quantity - A suggestion from Humboldt Bay Provisions and a home run! Today we got the following: Spicy Garlic Chicken Fries - #1 seller, so I have to try. Boy have I been eating so unhealthy on this trip, but you know that because you are following. Is that part of the reason I am having so much fun? This did not disappoint. I did not think it was very spicy, but my daughter said it was too spicy for her. Good thing she ordered the mild version of garlic chicken; see below. Decent portions. Garlic Chicken - A more mild version of the above. But with rice and mac rather than fries. A slightly healthier version. Ahi Poke Bowl - My wife's choice. Generous portions, especially the tuna; thank you. Because this is raw, we "forced" ourselves to finish this dish first. So good. And to wash it down, supporting local, Sticky Finger IPA. Ambiance - Small local business. The food truck was parked in the rear of the building. Due to the rain, I did not take pictures. Plenty of mall parking. Open 5 days a week, 11:30am to 7pm; closed on Monday and Tuesday. Service - Counter service. Overall okay. Price - $62 + tip. Reasonably priced as we pretty much took an entree to-go. We are light eaters. Owner Comment - Aloha, congrats on your success since 2017; we will be back!

I could get this for lunch and dinner. I don't eat a lot of chicken, but I love this dishread more
