I got the basic carne asada burrito with the habanero salsa and two pastor tacos. The only thing I would say is the customer service is not as great. It's always the same girl who I have a bad experience w. I didn't get her name but she wears glasses/short. This place is a under rated gem. It is a small restaurant at the corner of an intersection. But everything about this place is very unique, their recipes are all original, I am a big fan of their amazing micheladas! I love their margaritas as well. First time here, no prices on the menu. Ordered Horchata. The sever asked me if I wanted ice I said light, so she proceeded to only fill up the horchata 60% and gave it to me like that? First red flag. I would have been fine paying extra for light ice but come on? Really? I ended up asking them to just fill it with ice so it hit the top of the cup. Why even ask then? Diablo chorizo has a nice flavor and texture. Not spicy either. The spices are well balanced and it the best. You like how I wrote an entire paragraph to explain how great their chorizo is? Its unclear if you seat yourself or order at the register. Our order was taking so long they gave us a sample of their pozole which was yummy. My coworkers recommended this spot, I tried the Carne Asada burrito. Super Delicious. Nobody told me about the next part. I had a Green sauce and a Creamy sauce in little small cups. I figured since I always get the "Verde" green sauce at every other spot, let's try the White sauce. So I pour the whole cup on my Burrito (which I took 2 bites to open up the top for my sauce). It started to get warm real quick. I was alone by the way and now this was burning hot, that sauce got me sweating. Had to regroup as it took a while.. So now let's use the green sauce. Where do I start with Tacos El Diablo..... let's just say I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could! My husband's coworkers highly recommended this place so without ever being here before, we ended up taking a chance and making a large order for a beach gathering we were hosting over July 4 wknd. They did NOT disappoint. In fact, we were blown away by the food, service, and thoughtfulness they even put into packaging everything for us!!! We ended up ordering 50 tacos, multiple orders of carne asada fries, and a ton of side orders of beans / rice. Knowing that we were ordering all this for a beach gathering, they thoughtfully advised us, and packaged, fries in separate bags (so they wouldn't get soggy), all the condiments for carne asada fries separately (so we could put it together at the beach), tortillas in foil, and all the Al pastor, carne, lengua, carnitas for the tacos into larger foil trays. Although we had ordered a bunch of rice/bean side orders also, they put large, generous helpings in foil trays (one for rice, one for beans) as well. None of the toppings were missing -- cilantro, raw onion, grilled onion, and sauces -- were packaged nicely and with care. I'm telling you the food was a HUGE HIT among our friends and literally the focal point of our event being such a fun time for everyone there! I'd say all the meat was bomb, rice and beans on point, and Al pastor was the best of the best. We are sooooo thankful to you guys. You are our go-to spot now for events in the future.
