Al pastor, tacolgando, carnita asada tacos

Great little new spot on 103rd right near Corona Plaza. Nice that it is straightforward, small menu, they do what they do extremely well. I had the al pastor, tacolgando, and carnita asada tacos. All well seasoned, the asada had good grill smokiness. Salsa bar had all essentials, some onion and habanero which was nice and hot. Verde, chipotle, and chili arbol salsas. Tortillas handmade and great texture and flavor. The attention to detail on all ingredients was apparent. Everything very flavorful and fresh. Great addition to the area, will recommend to all and go back myself.

Excellent tacos al pastor and carne asada. The adobado of the al pastor , the texture and slices of the meat, todo es correcto. Very delicious. Great salsas, will come again!!

I watch the end of the game in here. Inside looks nice, booth is comfortable. Lively decoration with a spinning floating lightbulb in each table. The air is a bit stuffy though. I only ordered a burger as I heard from other reviewers that it is the best burger. It is quite tasty. Burger is on the smaller side, size of my palm. For $22, it also came with French fries. It is a bit more to the expensive side if I compare to what I will pay for a double burger and fries at Burger joint at 7th street burger. I guess i paid for the atmosphere. Service is ok. The waitress is very quiet. I dont think she spoke more than 20 words to me. Mostly nodding at my request. She did refill my water without me asking. However, she didnt bring me utensils. I had to use the toothpick that held the burger together to eat the leftover crumbs. My hands is a bit sticky and smell like barbecue sauce as a result of it. Thats why I deduct a star

There are plenty of seats but during the weekends they fill up quickly. I would just recommend coming in earlier. Really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and banana latte. The matcha had a strong creamy flavor that complimented the strawberry flavor very well. Judging from the color, it was definitely a decent quality matcha. The hot banana latte was not too sweet and really impressed me with the taste. It wasn't artificial and was very comforting on a colder day. I also tried the oolong tea cheesecake. The texture was moist and the perfect density for a cheesecake. While the tea flavor was light, I would get it again. Excited to try out their other drinks, they also have a selection of desserts like the tiramisu that will sell out quickly.

Theres even free WiFi, though slightly slow. However the pastry and drinks are lacking quality. I ordered the - salted jasmine latte 3/5: I was hoping for a stronger flavor but it was lacking. - sea salt chocolate chip cookie 2/5: if you like soft cookies, this cookie might be for you! But I personally don't like soft cookies. It was super soft all over and really thick and dry. Overall the vibes in here are really nice, but it's more of an aesthetic/ work place rather than a place for food.

The restaurant has traditional southeast Asian furniture which was nice and service was super quick too. As I entered the restaurant, the ambiance felt like I was going to a quaint location in rural China. The decor and waterfall added a nice needed touch. The Peking duck comes with sugar, pineapple, hoisin cucumber. The peking duck was overdone by a tiny bit. It was light and clean but was a very forgettable dish The Lotus root stuff with rice was an appetizer that really caught my eye by how it it looked It had a cold sweet glaze like a Chinese flower royal jelly. I was saddened that it looked much smaller than I expected. It was cut very thinly which allowed the glaze to cover it all but I wish it was a bit thicker so you could taste and feel more of the lotus root The Pumpkin w cheese was tasty but a little drying on tongue from how it was fried The sliced potato dish was a dish I have not tried before but was a bit of a let down. The Potato just tastes like a mild chili oil Nothing much The fried rice was very enjoyable. It was a bit on the oily side but that also allowed it to be cooked in a way that gives it a good wok hei. Even though the rice felt a bit oily, the dish as a whole felt very light The flavor of the fried rice was also very good. The eggs in the rice could be better. It felt a bit over cooked and the pieces felt a bit too big in it. The pork belly cube came with hawthorn in a bright red sauce the flavor was nothing special. The cubes were also too big so the flavor of the sauce doesn't soak through. Flavor is barely there other than just pork Mapo tofu was very basic and felt lacking in meat.it also doesn't come with white rice which is very integral to the sacuiness of mapo tofu. For dessert I got the fried rice cake. It was very brown sugar/ molasses forward. Even though it had a nice soft bite to it, the flavor of molasses hid any depth of flavor it had. Everything felt nice to eat, felt very fresh and light. The presentation was very pleasant but the flavors did not live up to the presentation.

It is reminiscent of the design behind the trendiest cafes of Kuala Lumpur. The noise level is great if you want a quieter environment to focus and want 2010s pop music in the background. Most people on a weekend afternoon are here working. From a practical standpoint, the tables are higher than what, so get ready to sit real upright if you're going to do work here. *Seasonal caramelized banana matcha latte: 2/5. the banana flavor does not come through and texturally odd to have semi-hard banana solids at the bottom of the drink. *Molly sea salt latte: has both jasmine tea and espresso over milk, topped with a salty cold foam. 3.5/5. The jasmine is the most prominent flavor. I think this drink might benefit from less milk, so that the espresso can still come through.
